Just about everyone wants to be popular.
What is popularity?
Being surrounded by people who admire you and who happen to be the majority of whatever group there is.
Usually it starts off with one or two people becoming your friends which attract more like a magnet and you turn up to be surrounded by fake friends who are trying to get close to you just so they can be popular too, in whom people get close to to be popular too, and so on, like a neverending ring. To be honest, I'd prefer having proper friends than people who use you. Sure, it might be great having loads of people around you but how can you know they'll be there for you when you fall and you can actually trust them? idk. I'm not popular so I don't have much to say. this is my own outlook on it. Anyways.
