Blaze

I rode in the ambulance, holding Silver's hand. Not one word was said. All I did, was bury my face in my palms. Who...could have done this... Why? Why do this!! Silver is a kind hearted and caring hedgehog!! He has never done a bad deed in his life!! HE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS!!

The vehicle did a jerk, which made the tears jerk from my eyes. The back double doors opened quickly by two female echidna nurses. "C'mon out miss! We need to get him out of here ASAP." One said. I nodded, then hopped out. They pulled his gurney out swiftly. I ran with them inside the hospital.

What made things better for me, was I saw Rouge's car pull up. Yes... Everyone is here. I need comfort right now. I don't know what id do without Silver..

Sonic and everyone ran in shortly after Blaze ran in. They were taken up to the 5th floor. They quickly ran him into the next open room they saw. "Get him on the bed!" A nurse said. Two other doctors grabbed him and gently sat him down. Blaze watched in horror as the put the IV and over needles in him.

"Blaze!" She heard, and turned around. She saw everyone standing there. She ran up and hugged Sally and Sonic. "Ma'am, we need everyone from the scene to describe what you saw." A doctor said. He led them all into a small office like room. "Okay so, this is Hedgehog, Silver. Fought two years in military service. Also suffered severe injuries in combat." The doctor said, as he looked over some papers.

"So, I'd like for you to tell me what happened." He said politely. "Sonic was the only one who saw it." Rouge said. He directed his attention to the beat up blue hedgehog.

"Sir.. This is a government issue I'm not aloud to expose. But, all I will say is.. We were just coming out of an attack, then suddenly he fell down and clenches his chest." Sonic said in a depressed voice. The doctor kept looking at Sonic's injuries too. "Are you sure you don't need medical attention?" He asked Sonic.

"I'm positive. I'm just scraped up and bloody. Other than that I'm fine." He said sternly. He was starting to get offended and upset, because the doctor kept asking dumbass questions. "Well.. We will be able to see his results in a few hours. For now, why don't you all go home and rest." He said.

He, and everyone else walked out of the room. "Okay.. I guess we go home.." Sally said. "You all can. I'm not leaving Silver's side." Blaze said. "We understand.." Rouge said. Cream hugged Blaze, then walked back with the others.

Blaze sat down in the waiting area, and just waited. Little did she know, she wouldn't hear from them for a whole nother day. She sat and waited for hours. She was starting to get hungry, but didn't want to leave incase something happened. 5 hours later, a yellow fox walked up to her. "Ma'am? Are you... Blaze?" He asked.

"Yes?" She said. "I'm sorry but we won't have results until tomorrow." He sighed. "Oh.. I see.." She said depressed. "But, I have set up another bed so you may stay over with him." He smiled. "I would love too. Can I see him??" She asked desperately. "Of course." He smiled, and lead her to Silver's room.

They walked in quietly because, he was sleeping calmly. "There you are miss. I'll check up on him every couple hours." He said, then walked off. Blaze shut the door, and sat in a chair right beside Silver. Her happy smile turned back down to a depressed frown. "Please Silver... Don't leave me. Not again. I need you.." She silently said in his ear, as she grabbed his hand.

"Ms. Sally, I'm worried at about Ms. Blaze. She hasn't came home yet." Cream said sadly. "Awe Cream. She's staying the night there. She doesn't want to bear the thought of leaving Silver's side." Sally answered. "Oh. Are we going to visit tomorrow?" Cream asked. "Of course hun." Rouge said, as she walked into the living room.
