The Battle Begins

"Pull!!" Shadow yells. They were about 200 feet from the ground. Everybody listens and pulls their cords to release their chutes. The parachutes came out, and they began their descent towards the ground. "What do we shoot at? Surely there are still civilians here." A soldier asks.

"No civilians. Shoot anything that moves." Shadow said as they touched down. He unbuckled his chute, as did everyone else. "Rifles ready." Another soldier said. They slung their guns around to face forward. "Any sign of Silver?" Shadow asked.

"Don't know, don't care." Sonic said. Shadow looked at him and sighed. "No sign of him... But look what I found." A soldier pointed out. He pointed up to the large walkway up above, where a big dead soldier lied, with blood running all over his face. They could see him through the holes.

"Damn. That's a big guy." Sonic said. They were about to continue to walk, but Shadow slipped. But, it wasn't the rain that made him fall. He slid on one of Silver's wing-suit wings. "Silver was here, no doubt. These are from his wing suit." Shadow said.

"Good. Round 2." Sonic smirked. "That's enough. Now let's move." Shadow said sternly. Everyone nodded, then continued to walk through the destroyed city. "Why would he do this to Soleanna of all the cities on Mobius.." Sonic sighed.

"Maybe he's looking for something. Or maybe just wanted to draw us out of hiding because it's our city." Shadow said. "Shadow, you're gonna want to see this." A soldier said. He walked over to the soldier that had the binoculars.

Shadow was handed the binoculars, and he looked thought the eye pieces. What he saw, was breath taking. "Ho, ly shit.." Shadow said in shock. Over a massive hill which they were on, was the biggest army they'd ever seen. Sonic could see the army without the binoculars.

"Oh my god.. Silver is way in over his head." A soldier said. "I know." Shadow said, before he turned the mic on his radio on. "Jameson, we have a problem." Shadow said. "What is it agent?" He asked. "Sending you the data now." Shadow said.

He snapped a picture of the army with his helmet, and sent it to Jameson's computer. "Holy shit. Agent, you have no hope of overcoming that army. Abort mission. Repeat, abort mission." Jameson says. "Sir, no sir." Shadow said. Everyone looked at him, shocked.

"I'm sorry..?" Jameson said, feeling insulted. "I am not abandoning Silver. He's in this hell hole if a city somewhere, and I will not leave him." Shadow said sternly. "Agent! These are my orders! You will do what I say!" He yelled in fury.

"Sorry director." Shadow said, then hung up. "Shadow, you denied an order?!?" Sonic yelled, shocked. "This may not be important to you, but Silver is my brother. And will not be left behind." Shadow said sternly. "HOORAH!!" The soldiers shouted and cheered.

"Now, let's go find Silver and kill this bastard!" Shadow shouted.

Silver was flying around the ruins of the city, looking for some kind of sign to where the dictator is. "Where the hell are you.." Silver said, looking around. All he saw were crushed skyscrapers and destroyed buildings. But, then he saw the only untouched skyscraper in the city.

"Bingo." Silver smirked, then flew off. He flew straight towards the large and tall building. "I have go find a way to contact Shad- AAAAHHH!!!!" Silver yelled in pain. He then lost control of his flying, and headed straight for the ground.

He landed hard on the rough, torn and rainy streets. He felt at his shoulder, and felt a hole. It was a bullet hole. He put his hand over it for pressure. "So... Finally found it did you?" He heard a female voice. He slowly leaned over, and saw Lien-Da, with a sniper rifle in her hands.

"You.. B-bitch... Still greedy I see.." Silver cracked. "What can I say Silv" she said, as she put the rifle on her back. "I always go for the winning side." She said as she kicked him in the ribs. He yelled in pain. "Awe. Poor baby. You don't have anyone to keep you from death this time." She smirked happily.

She then kicked him in the ribs again, knocking him on the ground. She kicked him again, but in the jaw. Blood poured from his face as he fell over again. "Oh get up." She smiled, as she pulled him up by the neck. "Even if you kill me, there is another t-team in this city. That will kill you and your damn boss." Silver smiled with a bloody grin.

Her eyes grew in size and shock. Then she threw him into a pile of ruble and ash. Then, something amazing happened. He finally had the courage to stand up. "Awe look at you. Still lol cute, after all these years. Even covered in rain and blood." She laughed.

"Our history isn't there anymore, Lien. You were a dirty p-pawn!" Silver yells. "Oh baby.." She said, as she got up against his chest. "History can repeat itself." She said, as she rubbed her finger along his chest. And just like that, he punched her in the face.

"Yeah how do you like that, west world." Silver grinned. "I'll rip your damn heart out!!" She yells. "You already d-did.." Silver said, as he wiped the rain and blood from his face. He pulled the rifle out, and threw it to the ground. He did the same with his knife and pistols.

"Oh.. You want a real fight then." She smiled. "You know it.." Silver said, as he got in a fighting stance. "Alright then, let's dance." She said as she ran at him.

She threw a kick to his head but he blocked it. She spun around on her other foot, which made her blocked leg take Silver down. She tried to punch him while he was down, but he kneed her in the nose and kicked the side of her head.

He stood up, with her right underneath him. She smiled, then slid closer to his legs. She cocked her foot down, then jerked it up, kicking him in the crotch. He cringed and bent over in pain. Which let her get up. "Every time.." She said happily. With him weak, she grabbed him around with a bear hug, and back flipped.

Making him fly back into the wall. he stood back up, and noticed something. Behind her, was a liftable piece of ruble. He could use that to his advantage. He smirked, then put his hands up. "Surrender?" She laughed. His hands begin to glow blue, as did the ruble.

She looked back immediately. But, she was too late to turn around and evade it. It came back and hit her smack in the face. She fell down, and slid to his feet with blood gushing from nose and mouth. Silver stood in her legs, to avoid being kicked again.

But, now she had had it. She slowly and painfully stood up, and faced him. "I'm going to freaking kill you... And your little team too." She said in total anger. She then pulled out a sword from her hidden back sheathe. "Let's finish this.." She had a blood smirk.

"I agree.." Silver grinned. He picked the knife and sword he dropped earlier. They both looked at each other, determined.

"Now we fight for our freedom!!!!" Shadow yelled. "HOOORRAAHH!!!" The soldiers yell back. "Now, LETS KILL THESE BASTARDS!!" Sonic yelled. "AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" Everyone yelled as they all charged to the massive army.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" Silver and Lien-Da both yelled as the ran at each other.
