Sonics phone rang as Blaze was talking. He didn't recognize the number, so he just answered it anyway.

"Hello.?"

"Is this Sonic the Hedgehog?"

"Yes..? Who is this?"

"This is G.U.N Director, deputy director Jameson. I called to remind you and Silver the Hedgehog about the dinner in honor of Shadow."

"Oh. Actually, I don't think we can make it Jameson. Silver and I were just in a..." He stopped and looked at Blaze. "In a car accident. Silver is in the hospital right now." He lied.

"I understand. We need to meet sometime this week. I have something to give the two of you."

"Understood director Jameson."

He hung up on Sonic. "Who the hell was that?" Blaze asked. "That was the deputy director of G.U.N." He sighed. "Well why did you lie to him about Silver?" She asked. "The last thing we need, is G.U.N getting in our shit." He said. Blaze nodded.

They heard a faint noise. Blaze turned around split second to look at Silver. His eyes were slightly open. "Silver!" She yelled in joy. She ran over to hug his neck. "B... Blaze?" He said faintly. "Yes Silver... I'm here now." she said with small tears.

"Good to have you back Silv." Sonic said happily. Silver smiled at him. "Sonic.. You l-look like shit.." Silver smiled. Sonic laughed to have him back. "I didn't just have a heart attack though." Sonic shot back. "Is that what t-that was..?" Silver asked.

"No, we don't know what happened to you. Your reports haven't came in yet." Blaze sighed. Then, they heard a nurse come down the hall. Sonic quickly opened the curtain and unlocked the door in seconds flat.

The nurse opened the door up. "Oh great you're up!" The nurse said happily. She walked over to Blaze. "Are you Blaze the cat?" She asked. "Yes." Blaze answered. "Well pleased to meet you! Anyway, this is Silver's condition: he has suffered head trauma and serious injuries to the chest. The diagnosis say it was an attach of heart rhythmic trauma." She finished.

Blaze looked at Silver with fear. "How did he get that?! He's the picture of health!" Blaze said in fear. "It seems he has some shrapnel in his chest." She said. Blaze stared at her for a second. "Were you a war veteran, Mr. Silver?" She asked. He nodded slowly.

"And, we also discovered some other injuries including bullet wounds and a long bladed scar along his back." She said. "Silv got those when we were in service. He never acted like they bothered him though." Sonic said concerned.

The nurses radio started going off. "Okay, be there in a second." She answered it. "I have to leave for a little while. I'll be back to check on you soon." She smiled, and left. She closed the door on the way out.

Sonic and Blaze both looked at him. He knew what was coming. "Silver... Are your wounds bothering you??" Sonic asked concerned. He sighed. "They've been bothering you all along but you never told me?!" Blaze said. "Baby, I d-didn't want you to worry! I already told you t-that!" He defended.

"Silver, don't hide these things from me! If you would have told me, you wouldn't be in a hospital bed!" She sighed. "Silv, how long have these been bothering you..?" Sonic asked. Silver stared for a second. "Since... That day." He didn't want to say it. "Holy shit Silver.. Why didn't you get them fixed up at HQ!" Sonic worried.

"I'm stubborn Sonic, you know that." Silver replied back. Sonic and Blaze both sighed. "Hey Sonic, can you give us a sec." Blaze said. "Yeah, im gonna run down with the others and get some food." He said, then shut the door. He left, while Blaze glared at Silver.
