Sonic dashed down the hallway, not too far behind Swift. "IM COMING FOR YOU YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" Sonic yelled down the hallway. Swift turned around and saw Sonic speeding down the hallway after him. He began shooting at Sonic, but he spun and dodged the bullets.

When his gun clicked with no ammo, he turned around and continued to run towards the stairs. "Swift! Where the hell are you!" His ear piece buzzed. "Getting pursued by Sonic! Heading up the stairs!" Swift yelled back. As he raced up the steps, he looked up at the square spiral stair case.

He wasn't too far down, just far enough where he would need to haul ass up the stairs. He reloaded his pistol and fired as he saw Sonic 4 flights down. He began shooting at him again. Sonic kept running, but flinches back as he felt a bullet hit his arm. "Ahh!" He said to himself.

"A pistol isn't gonna stop me from killing you Swift!" Sonic yelled. "We'll see when I get to my chopper!" Swift grinned. He was almost to the roof, when he saw Sonic was almost right on his tail. He picked up the pace, and opened the door to the roof.

He slammed the door behind him, hitting Sonic. As Swift ran towards the chopper on the roof, he was tackled on the platform. Sonic began rapidly punching him in the face. Swift blocked a punch and flipped Sonic off of him. He started running towards the chopper when he felt a horrible pain in his thigh.

He fell straight back down. He turned around and saw Sonic holding the gun Swift had dropped. He just didn't know he dropped it. He began reaching for his pistol but then realized Sonic has it in his hands. He put his hands against the hole in his thigh.

"You've got guts kid. Too bad they're gonna be everywhere in a few seconds." Swift grinned with a blood smear on his cheek. Sonic looked up at the chopper, which has a turret pointed straight at him. It fired rapidly as he tried to barrel roll out of the way.

Sonic was running but then fell on the platform after a ricochet bullet hit his calf. When he thought that was the end of it, the chopper exploded into a million smithereens. "What the hell!!" Swift yelled in anger and shock. Then they saw another GUN chopper hover up.

It had missile pods steaming with smoke. Swift was about to run, but fell when he felt the building shake. It was beginning tip over in the direction Sonic laid on. Sonic held on to the railing as he talked on the com link by his shoulder.

"The whole damn building is coming down!!" Sonic yelled. "What?!" Rouge yelled back. "We have to abandon the building!" Shadow responded. It continued to tip, as Swift slid the direction of Sonic. He slid to the very edge where he grabbed the rail and dangled off the side.

Sonic punched Swift in the face, trying to knock him off. "WHERES SALLY!!" He yelled as he punched him again. Swift didn't answer. Sonic punched him again as the building was almost completely unstable. "WHERE IS SHE!!!" He yelled again.

He punched Swift in the stomach, making him spit up blood. "S-she's on the same floor a-as your other friends... But you'll never find her. The bomb apparently went off, destroying that chunk of the building. It's only a matter of time before she's crushed." Swift grinned.

Swift backflipped back up, and kicked Sonic in the face on the way down. "Shadow, search the whole damn floor for Sally! She's somewhere on that floor! Hurry before the whole building collapses!!" Sonic shouted before getting knocked by the kick.

"On it." Shadow replied. "So.. You finally got me. Where do we go from here?" Swift asked sarcastically as he limped towards his gun and Sonic. Sonic got back to his feet, but felt pain when he put pressure on his calf. He pointed the gun at Sonic. But he hesitated.

"You know what... I'll enjoy beating you to death even more." Swift grinned as he wiped the blood from his jaw. Sonic wanted to dash at him and knock him off the building but he couldn't with a bullet hole in his calf. Swift couldn't run either, so they were both evenly matched.
