A Fallen Hero ~Sonic The Hedgehog~

Infiltration

All the girls were nearly falling asleep in the same room they were in all day and night. After 3 o'clock AM, tiredness hits hard. All the girls were nearly asleep, until they heard loud crashing. "What the hell was that..?" Rouge said. Then they all listened carefully.

Screams and bullet fire filled the floor they were on. The girls stood up and listened in fear. Then when it all sounds like it was over, multiple smoke and has grenades went rolling and flying into the room. "I got this!" Nicole yelled.

Nicole placed her hand on the computer, and her hand lit up bright blue. "LOCKING DOWN FACILITY" the screen said. The blast doors started to fall, and the smoke still kept rolling in. "It's t-too *cough cough* late..." Sally said, before she hit the floor.

"I can't... Stand..." Rouge said the fell as well. "Nicole was the only one still standing, because of her artificial lungs. After looking through the thick smoke with her zoomed optics, she saw a group of soldiers walk in. "Freeze, bitch." A soldier threatened.

"As you wish." She grinned evilly. She out her hands above her, as the soldiers came in. The raccoon took his gas mask off after it all cleared, and he and walked towards her. He started checking her for weapons, when he stopped at her chest.

"Wouldn't happen to have any in here would you?" He said, as he reached in her shirt. That's what triggered her. "GET YOUR DAMN HANDS OUT OF MY FUCKING SHIRT!!!!!" She screamed at him. Her eyes lit a glowing blue, and all the ceiling turrets come out and shoot the men.

As all the men fell dead, she stared at them all with total fury. "Men.." She said, as she readjusted her top. That was, until she felt something hard hit her right cheek. She fell straight to the floor with blood gushing from her face and nose.

That's when, Swift walked in. He was mad with a glowing grin. He then dropped the other bricks he had in his hands. He kneeled down on one knee, and looked her in the eyes. "Strange... AI being, with organic blood.." He grinned.

"Let's see how much can come out." He smiled evilly. "I'll never t-tell you where they a-are..." She spit blood in his face. He wiped it off, then grabbed her by the neck. "I wonder.... How much blood can come.... FROM THIS!!" He shouted, then stuck a knife in her shoulder.

"C'mon... We both know you can't win this, gorgeous." He chuckled. Tears and blood covered her cheeks. "Okay then... Looks like we need to go further." He said, then yanked the knife out. She screamed bloody murder with tears. He then lifted the knife back up high, ready for a second go.

"So.. How the hell do you plan to get that chopper?" Shadow asked. "Can you still use a chaos spear?" Sonic asked. "Barely. I hardly believe I still have immortality." He added, as took the knife out of a dead soldier. "Can you supercharge one or something??? Anything like that??" Sonic asked.

"Maybe..." He said. Then, they heard a noise that got louder and louder. "Right on time." Shadow grinned. A gunship helicopter came around the side of the building, with it's 6-barrels spinning. "CLEAR!!" Shadow yells. All the GUN Soldiers jumped behind cover.

"I only got one shot.." Shadow focuses. "I'll draw it's fire. You take it down from the pilot." Sonic said, as he dashed off. The barrels finally began spitting repetitive bullets at Sonic, as he ran in circles. "NOW!!" Sonic yelled. Shadow stood up, and watched as the green bolt released from his hand.

It went straight through the window, hitting the pilot. It began to fall out of the air, before a soldier gave the signal. All the GUN Agents threw stun grenades, which stunned the vehicle from moving. Keeping it from crashing to the ground to where it is undamaged.

"Wait... Why take the cruiser down.. When we can just fly straight to the floor he's on??" Sonic suggested. Shadow slowly looked at him with anger. "Idiot.." He said as he grabbed the bridge of his nose. Both hedgehogs climbed into the sides of the gunship.

Shadow took the pilot, and Sonic took the copilot seat. "Sure you've got this?" Shadow yelled at the men. "We can take it from here Shadow. Now go catch that bastard!" The captain yelled. Everyone cheered. Shadow pressed a button, and the rotors took the chopper up in the air.

"Okay, question. Which floor is it?" Shadow asked. "Jameson said it was 21st floor. Let's try it." Sonic said. "Got it." Shadow said, as he flew away, towards the skyscraper. "Man I hate air travel." Sonic said. "The hell are you talking about? Only god knows how many times you rode in the fox's jet." Shadow cracked.

"Didn't like that either.." Sonic gripped the seat tight. "Moron.." Shadow chuckled as he looked forward. "Look! There it is!" Sonic pointed. "Sonic, can you spin dash through the window if I throw you?" Shadow asked. "WHAT?! No way!" Sonic argues.

"It wasn't a question." Shadow smiled, as he put it on auto pilot. He quickly grabbed Sonic, and threw him out. "DDAAMMMNN IIITTTTT!!!!" Sonic yelled as he flew. He started to grab his feet, then barrel spun straight through the window.

"My turn." Shadow chucked, as he did the same. The chopper would eventually run out of gas, and just crash. Now, without ever knowing, all three hedgehogs were inside the building. On the same floor. Unaware, of each other near.

Silver and Lien both carefully walked through the building, weapons ready. "Swift's office is right through this door. Are you ready?" Lien teased. "I can't wait to put a bullet in this guy's head." Silver said, determined.

"Okay... Three... Two... One... GO!" Silver commanded. They both front kicked the door open. "SWIFT!!!" Silver yelled in complete anger, as he pulled his gun sights right in front. But sadly, there was no one in sight... Yet.

"Who was that?" Shadow said to Sonic. "Someone is in Swift's office." Sonic said. The two looked at each other, with the same idea. Then, they both barrel rolled into the office, with their guns up.

"FREEZE!!" Shadow yelled. They looked around, only to see torn up Lien-Da and Silver. "SHOOT HER!!" Sonic yelled at his foe. He was about to fire, but was stopped by Silver's PK. "Shadow don't you see!!! Silver is the enemy!!!" Sonic said loudly.

"Silver... Why are you with her..?" Shadow asked, hesitant rather to point his gun at Silver. "Shadow! Thank god you're alive! Lien is with me. She led me here. She wants him dead just like us." Silver said, trying to ease Shadow away from his gun.

"Wait, so where's Swift?" Shadow asked. "Are you looking for me?" They heard someone say. That's when, Swift turned the lights on finally. It flashed brightly as it sparked then turned back off again. He was pulling something with him.

He then pulled up, Nicole. She was bleeding all over, with her eyes closed with dried tears. He threw her down right in front of the three hedgehogs and Lien. "NICOLE!!!" The three hedgehogs yelled. Sonic dropped to his knees in front of her, and held her.

"What have you done!!" Silver yelled in anger, trying to feel a pulse. "If it makes you feel any better, she wouldn't squeal. You have loyal friends..." Swift laughed evilly. "Isn't that right... Lien." Swift grinned evilly. They looked back at Lien, who was now on the side of the room with him.

"Lien.. What are you doing?" Silver asked, starting to freak out. He was still shaking over Nicole. "You see Silver... It may be all is fair on love and war... But in war, you want to join the side that's going to win." She smiled, and reached for her handgun.

"Bring em in." Lien said, as she aimed the gun at the group. A group of soldiers dragged in Rouge and Blaze. They were in rags of their clothes now. "Blaze!" Silver shouted. "Rouge!" Shadow also shouts. "Oh my god!!" Rouge said, as she looked at Nicole.
