Chapter 23; Nightmare

Changbin POV.

After a while I noticed that Felix fell asleep in my lap while watching the movie. The sound from my smartphone, interrupted my admiration from Felixs stars on his cheeks. For a moment I was afraid that the sound woke Felix up, but he was still soundly asleep. I carefully grabbed after my phone and saw a pop-up message from Jisung.

Jisung online 

-I told Chan that you know that Felix got involved in the car accident

-Chan said that if Felix would've died you wouldn't even know so I told him that you know that Felix is in a wheelchair and that you're really sorry

Shit, How did he react ? But you didn't told him that I'm his minder right ? -

-When I told him that you changed, that you quit with the drugs. He said that you can't be clean, that your too addicted to drugs and then he runaway abruptly. No I didn't told him that you're Felixs minder.

I shut my phone down and put it back on the table, without much movement but I somehow managed to wake up Felix. "B-Binni ?" His voice was even more deep and slurred with sleep, that it sounded really adorable how he called out my name. "Go back to sleep, I will carry you upstairs to my room later." Felix snuggled his face more into my chest and soon fell asleep again.

After a while I carefully stood up with Felix in my arms and carried him upstairs. As I laid Felix down, he mumbled something that I couldn't understand. I wasn't feeling tired at all, I couldn't just fall asleep right now, so I decided to go outside for a while, I mean Felix won't have a problem with that right, he fell asleep so he doesn't need anything.

I snatched my Jacket, a black cap and my keys from the couch downstairs and put my sneakers on before I closed the door quietly. I plugged my earphones in and started to jog to the rhythm of the music. Running always calmed my mind somehow, it is like I could run away from everything for a moment and just be alone. So I started to just run and blocked everything out from my surroundings, I just concentrated on the beat of the music.

When my lungs couldn't take it anymore, I stopped and breathed heavily. I felt a bit relieved but not completely, something deep down in my chest doesn't wanted me to feel free. As I walked back to my apartment I pulled out a cigarette, placed it between my lips and lit it up. At every drag from the cigarette I started to think about the blonde Australian boy. Always when he is laughing, my heart skips a beat, I want to protect him from everything that could harm him, he should be happy not sad he didn't deserved a shitty live like he has right now.

No one POV.
When Changbin looked at his phone he started to walk even faster. Oh god it's already 2 AM, I left Felix for 2 hours alone in my apartment. Worry started to spread in Changbins chest, he just hoped that the younger will be still asleep and wouldn't even notice that the older was away.

He quickly unlocked the door to his apartment and was relieved when he couldn't hear anything. He is still asleep he thought and took his shoes off. Just as he wanted to take his jacket and cap off, a small sobbing sound stopped him, he run up to his own room. At every step the sobs got louder and more clear.

The door opened and the sight broke Changbins heart. The blonde boy was sobbing on the bed, back facing the door and it even looked like he couldn't get enough oxygen. Changbin quickly rushed to Felixs side and crouched down.

"Felix ?" The younger whipped his head up to look Changbin in the eyes, with his swollen and puffy ones."B-binni ?" Felixs voice was cracking and followed by a shaking sob. Changbin stood up and hugged the crying boy. "I-I thought you l-left me alone and wouldn't come back." "I would never Lix It was just that I wasn't tired and you were tightly asleep so I went for a walk and forgot the time. I'm really sorry" Felix shook his head and wiped his tears away "I-It's alright, I mean you need your alone t-time as well." Felixs body was shaking with each sob. "Breath Felix, shh I'm here now okey, you aren't alone." Changbin whispered and raked his fingers through Felixs blonde hair, to calm him down. Felix grasped my hoodie with his fists, as If he would loosen his grip, I would disappear and  leave him alone. The raven haired boy stroked the back of the blonde boy in a calming manner and whispered reassuring words to Felix. "I will bring you something to drink." Changbin wanted to stand up but Felix was terrified to let him go, he doesn't want to be alone right now, not after his nightmare.

"Lix, I'll be right back, I'll be quick okey ?" Felix hesitantly loosened his grip and Changbin quickly went in to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water.

He walked to the side of the younger and helped Felix to sit straight up so his back is resting against the headrest. While Changbin handed the glass to Felix, he noticed the trembling hand around the glass. "Can you sit with me please ?" The raven haired boy smiled as a 'yes' and sat down beside the younger, while he was drinking. "Thank you." Changbin placed the glass on the side table after Felix handed him the empty glass. 

After a while of silence Felix started to talk "I-I had a nightmare." "Do you want to tell me about it ?" An hesitant nod from Felix. "I don't know where I was heading to, b-but I was on a sidewalk. A bright light was coming near to me. I-It was a red car." Changbin tensed up. It couldn't be, right?  "The car was so fast that it hit me with full force, e-everything hurt so much. People were screaming and yelling something inaudible for me. A-and than Chan got to me and said something but I couldn't say anything but what hurt me was that you were there as well but you were running away from the scenario. You left me on the cold street still in pain." Felix dreamed about the accident at Jackson's house party. "It felt so real If I already experienced it ." The older cleared his throat so Felix wouldn't notice that he was a little bit shaken by it. "It was just a nightmare Lix, they often feel real but they aren't they are just imaginations from our brain." Felix hummed.

"You wouldn't leave me right ?" Changbin gulped and drew small circles on Felixs hand with his thumb. "No, never." Because I already did and noticed the mistake  just now

 "We should go to sleep now alright ?" The blonde boy nodded. "Can you sleep here with me I-I don't want to be alone ?" Changbin nodded and helped Felix to lie down again and covered him with a blanket. "Good night" Felix shyly grabbed after Changbins hand and the latter didn't even mind it, If anything he enjoyed the warmth. "Will we go to the zoo tomorrow ?" Changbin laughed at the sparkling big doe eyes from Felix when he faced him. "Of course I promised you didn't I ?" Felix smiled "Yeah you did!"

Again Changbin got a notification but this time not from Jisung.

Now that you know that my brother was involved in the accident, don't you wanna apologize to me and to him ?! I heard that your surprisingly aren't in jail right now.

Welp I am really sorry for not updating, I kind of had a writers block + school stress. But I think I'm out of my writers block right now. I really hope so because it sucks. And I don't know but I'm not satisfied with this chapter :/
