Chapter 31; Your minder ?!

Chan POV.
Felix was sitting on the couch in the livingroom, the TV was on but he wasn't really paying much attention. I could tell that he was bored so I finished the dish washing and approached the younger. I sat down next to him "Hey bud, what do you think about a walk, I mean isn't it better than watching TV all the time ?" Felix turned his head and smiled " Yeah sure." But just as I stood up my phone rung.
"Hello ?"
"Hey Chan, can you come today to work we need a little bit help you see. We will even pay you a little bit more than usual." We still need the money.
While I was thinking if I should say Yes or No. Felix mouthed a 'Who's that ?' And pointed to my phone. So I mouthed a 'Work' back. Felixs face turned into a sad kicked puppy, he turned his face away from me and fiddled with his fingers.

"No sorry I can't come today. I already had something planned." I swiped over the red circle on my display. "Does that mean you won't go to work ?" I nodded "So are we going to the park ?" I asked and Felixs eyes were somehow sparkling and full with joy. "Yes!" I carried him upstairs and changed him into a yellow hoodie with light blue jeans. I put his shoes on and carried him back downstairs and sat him down in his wheelchair. "Wait this isn't the wheelchair that I bought for you." Felix got nervous "Y-yeah, Binni bought me this one...b-because the other.. w-well you see he somehow broke down." "Did you got hurt ?!" Felix shook his head "No." I quickly searched for any bruises on his face or on his arms but was relieved when I didn't saw any "Good, be right back."

I went into my room to grab a basketball. When I had everything I went back to my brother again and tossed the ball to him. "What ?!" I chuckled at his reaction, I thought we can pass the ball or maybe throw some baskets, like then." "Hell Yeah!"

Felix was trying to dribble the ball next to his wheelchair, he needed a bit time and motivative words from me to continue, until he could dribble the ball like he wanted. He often threw the ball away with anger but asked me after 2minutes again if I can bring him the ball so he can continue to learn it.

"Look Chan, I can do it!" I smiled he looked so happy, it's often the small things that matters and makes someone cheerful.

The younger threw the ball to me. "Do you think you can still throw the ball right into the basket?" Felix asked me and pointed to the basket behind me. "Let's see mate!"

The first try wasn't successful just like the second one. Felix was watching me with amusement but cheered when the third ball went right into the basket. "Do you want to try it ?" Felix was hesitant at first but nodded.

"Why is this so difficult when I'm sitting ?!" I laughed when Felix whined. "Yah! Try it when your sitting !" I shrugged and crouched down, Felix passed me the ball and we tried to throw some baskets all day. We laughed and it was like the old good days before the accident, lies, work and the death of our mother.

"Did you saw how the ball was perfectly thrown into the basket!" Felix rambles about his success. "Yeah I saw that bud." I ruffled his hair before I lifted him out of his wheelchair onto a kitchen
chair. I crouched down and took his shoes off. "Lix, What do you think about sandwiches for dinner ?" I asked but got ignored because Felix was again texting someone. "Oh ugh yeah sand for dinner sounds nice." He said trance-like. "Well I actually said sandwiches but okey." I chuckled and put all the ingredients out of the fridge.

Felix hesitantly grabbed after a knife and cutted his sandwich in half. He shylie looked into my face. I knew that he still can't eat big amounts of food but it made me happy that he isn't refusing to eat. So I gave him a reassuring smile.

Felix was still sitting on the chair while I cleaned up the table. A big smile present on my face, maybe because Felix is back home or the encounter at the door with Woojin or that Felix didn't refuse to eat. I felt happy. "So how was the last week ?" I asked and put the dishes away. Felix put his phone down and I sat down on the chair infront of him. First a sad expression flashed on Felixs face but vanished in seconds only to be replaced by a small smile.

"Fine, I had much fun."
"Did Jisung took good care of you ?"
"Well, he was there but the most of the time I was with Binnie."
"Wait what do you mean, were'nt you at Jisungs apartment ?"
"What, no I was at Binnies, my minder."
Suddenly my stomach felt sick,not to know the person your brother stayed at for a week, made me nervous.
"So you mean you were all the time at your minders house not at Jisungs ? Did he know about that ?"
Felix laughed "Of course he was there sometimes and checked on me, Binnie and Jisung does even know each other from school."
We went to the same school, but I can't remember a Binnie ?!
"Was he kind ?"
"Yes, he is everytime, when I'm with him." Ok that is a relief.

"Oh I can show you some pictures I made in the zoo!"
"Do you have a picture of your minder ?" Felix pouted "Sadly no, he doesn't like it if someone takes a picture of him."

Felix showed me his phone "Look there were so many animals.............."

He showed me many pictures of him in the zoo than of animals. He changed so much. "You're so happy now, I really have to thank your minder hmm?" Just when Felix wanted to answer I swiped again over the display and a video started to play.

>>Yah are you filming me ?" The camera showed Changbin who made some cute gestures towards the camera and Felix couldn't hold back his laughter. Changbin went near the camera and asked him sincerly, his expression was soft and filled with care "Are you happy ?" Felixs laughter died down and an answer could be heard "Yes,thank you so much Binnie." Felix said it with so much feelings behind each word. The video stopped.

"This is your minder ?" Felix nodded happily.

This is Felixs minder
This is Changbin his old friend
This is the boy Felix should hate
This is the boy who drugged me
This is the boy who made Felix happy
This is the boy who took care of Felix
This is the boy from who Felix should distance himself.

And Jisung knew about Felix and Changbin all the time!
