Chapter 27
Kain shot his eyes from the explosion and looked over at Morgan's side of the bed to see it empty. He quickly got up and grabbed his guns and crept down the stairs seeing Morgan and Chloe held at gun point in the living room. They both sat on their knees with their hands tied behind their back. It had to be around 6-7 guys surrounding her and Chloe. Kain's security had been shot down immediately and Morgan had a busted lip already.

"Yo look DC. She got a face on her." One of them laughed while grabbing Morgan's face and bringing it up. "She sho nough' do." He snickered. "What's ya name love?"

Morgan looked up at him and spat in his face. The guy stood back and whiped Morgan's spit off of his face. He quickly slapped her in her face with his shot gun and sent her back while blood flew from her nose. "Oh my god! Morgan!" Chloe cried out. "Would y'all stop playing and find him?" A voice called out coming from around the hall way.

"I know he's here." Kain stared at the unknown face before letting rounds out in the guys head making their blood splash onto Morgan and Chloe face.

"Ahhhh!" Chloe screamed and the unknown person grabbed Chloe by her neck and pressed his gun by her head. "Shut up!"

Kain came down the stairs and held his position by holding his gun up at him. "Put the gun down or I'll blow her fuc-" Morgan kicked him in his knee making him fall from his balance and Kain put a bullet in his shoulder making him fall to the floor. He walked over to him while stepping over the dead bodies and looked down at him. "Who the fuck are you?"

"Malcum." He spoke and Kain scrunched his face up at him. "Who?"

"Malik's brother." He said causing Morgan to roll her eyes.

"Alright, your good." The doctor said as she put a white, stringy band aid across Morgan's nostrils. She had a bruise on each side and a cut on her lip. "Thank you." She said lowly.

"No problem. It was nice seeing you Kain." The doctor smiled at him while blushing at him and Morgan reached for her purse but Kain grabbed her arm while he nodded at the doctor. "You too."

She gathered her things and left out the hotel. She tried to snatch her arm from his grip but he tightened it. "Chill the fuck out."

"Fuck you." Before Kain could reply Chloe came into the bathroom and he let Morgan go. "Uncle Kain who were those people?"

"Don't worry about it, Chlo. It's not going to happen again."

"Are you sure? I was scared when they came in my room." Kain nodded. "I'm sure. Nothing isn't going to happen to you, Morgan, or Selena." He said making Morgan scuff and walk out the bathroom. He glared at her before bringing his niece in to hug him. "I love you uncle Kain. And I don't want nothing to happen to you or Morgan."

"Nothings going to happen to me or Morgan. We good." He assured her and walked out the bathroom and turning the light off on their way out.

"Did you know Morgan knew how to fight? Like fight fight not hair pulling and stuff." Chloe asked making Kain laugh. "Yea I know."

"Are you staying home today?" Chloe asked as she sat down on the couch with her phone in her hand. He shook his head, no. "I gotta go handle some business."

Chloe nodded and looked over at Morgan who was deep into her two phones. "Morgan are you going to here all day?"

She loved over at Chloe and nodded. She didn't want to be left home alone so Morgan decided to stay home with her for today. "Oh, good. I didn't wanna be here by myself."
