"Good morning Allen." Neah smiled as his beloved nephew came downstairs, yawning widely, blinking away the remaining sleep in his eyes.
"Morning uncle Neah." The white haired boy mumbled as he gave his uncle a lazy grin and a hug.
"What's for breakfast?."
"Pancakes," Cross said from the kitchen, poking his head out to squint at his nephew.
"Hurry up and wash, it'll be done in a few."
"So, how is Kanda?." Neah asked, knowing that said vampire spent the night last night.
Allen yawned again.
"He's fine, I think he has some friends coming over today." Allen murmured, inhaling the smell of the banana pancakes that Cross had placed before him.
"We're gonna meet them later." He said, Sticking his fork into the fluffy food and shoving it into his mouth and groaning at the wonderful taste.
His uncles just rolled their eyes at him together.
Allen had to do his monthly shopping that day, so he asked his uncles to make a list of everything they needed and give him along with their share of the money to help pay, he sent a quick text to Kanda if he wanted to find him that he's gonna be at the supermarket.
Scanning the labels of everything he passed, Allen placed the items he required in the trolley, ticking of it on the list he had in his hands. Coming to the canned foods isle he released a annoyed sigh, because sometimes he couldn't bloody reach the damn one that he wanted!.
"Sometimes I hate being short." He grumbled under his breathe, reading what he needed and scanning the tin's for the right one, only to find it a little way higher.
"Fucking hell." He swore, tip toeing, fingers flicking against the tin but couldn't seem to get a proper grip on it. Just when he was about to give up, a body was plastered along his back and a clothed hand was reaching up to grab the can for him, dropping it into his awaiting hands.
"There you go, Moyashi." The deep baritone had him sagging against Kanda's chest, happy to have him there.
"Need help?."
"If." He huffed, turning to press a quick kiss to Kanda's cheek and quickly ticking off the item they just got.
"What's up by the way?."
Kanda gave an annoyed sigh.
"The idiots are having a picnic by the forest near the park, they want to meet there, I'm bringing you with me beautiful.".
Allen still wondered why Kanda called him that when he clearly had a burnt hand and a scar on the left side of his face. As if reading his thoughts, who Allen didn't doubt he could do, Kanda leaned forward and pressed his lips against the pentacle, on the star.
" I don't care if you have scars or deformities, you're still beautiful to me, my little Moyashi. " he blushed smacking Kanda's arm lightly and pointing to the can that he wanted but couldn't reach, he huffed when Kanda laughed and did what he was told.
They both did the shopping, with Allen getting the items he could reach as he had Kanda pulling the trolley and reaching the stuff he couldn't get.
And having people took at them, some smiling others laughing, some rolling their eyes and others ignoring them.
"Hmm, what are we eating on this picnic?." Allen asked as he loaded the bags in the backseat of his uncle Cross's car he borrowed.
Kanda laughed, backing him up against the door as he closed it.
"Is food all you think about?." He asked, fingers tucking a stray strand of sliver hair behind his Moyashi's ear.
"What about me?."
Allen shook his head with a small laugh, kiss Kanda's fingertip.
"I think about you all the time, Yuu, no need to get jealous over food." He teased.
Kanda rolled his eyes, smacking him on the butt before he backed away.
"I'll see you in a little while okay?."
Allen nodded, smiling as he pulled away from the lot, blowing Kanda a kiss before he started the drive home.
He was a bit excited to meet his mates family.
