### Episode 1It was a beautiful morning, the start of a new chapter in Ahn Ha Na's life. The sun shone brightly, and the world seemed to mirror her serene and pure nature. It was her birthday, and everything felt just right.
"Ahn Ha Na, wake up! You're going to be late for school!" her mother's voice echoed from downstairs.
"Aish, eomma, just five more minutes. I'm so sleepy," Ha Na mumbled, her voice thick with drowsiness.
Her room, simple yet uniquely hers, was bathed in shades of purple, her favorite color. From the walls to the bedspread, everything reflected her love for it.
"She's still not up, is she? This girl is just like her lazy father. I don't know what to do with her," her mother grumbled.
"Stop it, eomma! She's still a kid. You say this every morning, but it's her birthday today," Ha Na's elder sister, Ha Ni, defended her from the hallway.
"Shut up, Ha Ni! She's 18 now, not a little girl," their mother retorted, her tone sharp.
"Exactly, eomma. She's just 18," Ha Ni argued, her voice rising in frustration.
"I've had enough of this. You both are just like your father," their mother snapped, her face flushed with anger.
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop badmouthing our appa? He wasn't a jerk," Ha Ni protested, her eyes filled with defiance.
"You don't know anything, Ha Ni. You both are just like him," their mother said, her voice dripping with disdain.
"Will you shut your mouth, Mrs. Choi?" Ha Na shouted, finally appearing at the top of the stairs, her face a mix of anger and determination.
"Keep quiet, Ha Na. I'm talking to her. You shouldn't speak to your mother like that. Go get ready for school; breakfast is ready," Ha Ni intervened, her voice trembling with the effort to stay calm.
"But eonni, she always—" Ha Na started, her eyes pleading for understanding.
"I said go get ready, Ha Na," Ha Ni commanded, her voice firm.
"Ne," Ha Na replied, her expression blank as she turned to head back to her room.
"Next time, don't spoil my sister's birthday, eomma," Ha Ni warned, her voice low but intense.
The rest of the breakfast passed in heavy silence—a routine occurrence in their household.

### Ahn Ha Na's POV
My school is just a 20-minute walk from home. Despite everything, I am Ahn Ha Na, and today, I'm particularly angry. Sometimes, I curse my fate for giving me a life that feels unfair. But I try to stay strong because my life isn't entirely bad—I just have a bad mother. I was nine when my father died, and soon after, my mother remarried Mr. Choi. He had two sons, Yeonjun and Soobin, whom I despise. When Soobin was two, my stepdad died in a car accident. He never loved me or my sister, only his biological children.
But I have two people I love dearly: my sister, Ha Ni, who is my inspiration, and my best friend, Jeon Jungkook.
"Yaaaa! Jeon Jungkook, I will kill you!" I shouted as someone slapped me from behind. It was Jungkook.
"Shut your mouth, sleepyhead," he teased, a playful grin on his face.
"You heard everything, didn't you?" I asked, knowing he was our neighbor and probably overheard the morning argument.
"Of course, Ha Na. I'm your childhood friend. Everyone knows Ahn Ha Na is a heavy sleeper," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Seriously, I know you're trying not to hurt me. My family is loud," I replied, my voice tinged with sadness.
"Well, it's tough to choose between you and your eomma," he teased again, his grin widening.
"Aish, I will break your teeth, Jeon Jungkook!" I threatened, my temper flaring.
"Not yet, Ha Na. We're at school now. Happy birthday, sleepyhead," he said with a smile, handing me a small wrapped gift.
"That's not how you wish someone, Jungkook!" I shouted, but my heart softened at his gesture. Just then, I bumped into someone.
"How many times do I have to tell you to watch where you're going, nerd Kim?" I scolded, looking up to see Kim Taehyung.
"Ha Na, stop it. I'm sorry, Taehyung. She's just in a bad mood," Jungkook apologized, his tone sincere.
"She always does this to him. That's enough," Jimin added, stepping in.
"Jimin, come on. Let's go to class. I'm sorry, Ha Na," Taehyung said, his voice gentle and understanding.
"Okay, just don't do it again," I replied, my anger subsiding.
"Okay," Taehyung said, nodding slightly.

### Kim Taehyung's POV
"She always does this to you. Why don't you stand up for yourself?" Jimin asked, his voice laced with concern.
"I don't know, Jimin. I just can't," Taehyung smiled, a hint of sadness in his eyes.
"She won't accept you, Taehyung. Don't get your hopes up. She's always with Jungkook, who's popular with the girls," Jimin warned, his voice serious.
"I know, Jimin. But that's why you're my best friend. You always show me reality. But I still love Ahn Ha Na," Taehyung confessed, his voice filled with quiet determination.
"You should change your personality, Taehyung. You're the heir to Kim Industries. You can be better than Jungkook and win her over," Jimin advised, his tone almost pleading.
"I'm not interested in wealth or changing who I am. I believe one day, Ahn Ha Na will see the real me," Taehyung said, his voice resolute.
"Good luck, man. Let's study now. My mom will kill me if I get less than 90%," Jimin said, changing the subject with a sigh.
"Seriously? You'll get 91% this time," Taehyung teased, a playful smile on his face.
"Kim Taehyung, I'll kill you," Jimin shouted, but there was a smile in his eyes.
