When Taehyung entered his room, he found Hana sitting lifelessly on the floor. Rushing over, he picked her up and gently placed her on the bed. Although her face was expressionless, Taehyung avoided her gaze, embarrassed by his earlier actions. He started to walk toward the bathroom, but Hana grabbed his hand, making him turn around.

"Kim Taehyung, you've heard about the incident from others. Don't you want to hear it from your wife, Kim Hana?" she asked.

Taehyung nodded, controlling his emotions. "Yes," he replied simply.

"Then sit down, Taehyung," she said.

He sat on the bed next to her. Suddenly, she laid her head on his lap, placing his hand on her hair.

"Should I start? Are you ready to listen?" she asked.

"I'm ready, Hana," he replied.

"That night, some people kidnapped us and tied us up. After some time, a man came who ruined my life. I was shocked and puzzled when Jungkook saw his smirk and started shouting, 'Andwae.' He cried and cried. Then, the man said, 'Get her to the room.'"

As Taehyung listened, he tightened his fist.

Hana started to cry. "I was crying, screaming for mercy, but he didn't care. He was enjoying it, smirking. I was in pain, hearing Jungkook's screams and shouts to not touch me. He was hurting too. Then, the man injured me so badly that I couldn't move. I lay lifeless on the bed when some men came and threw me on the floor in front of Jungkook. I can't describe how embarrassed I felt, but Jungkook was crying, his hands on his head."

Taehyung remained silent, his heart breaking at Hana's words.

"They started fighting, but then I heard words that still haunt me," she said with horror.

"What?" Taehyung asked, his voice trembling.

"Kill him."

"I was screaming inside, watching as everyone hit him so hard. But then, he turned to look at me. A man struck him with an iron rod on his head, and he collapsed."

Hana paused, sobbing silently, while Taehyung stayed frozen.

"You know, Tae, that night we were both dying, and he was taking his last breaths. But he was smiling. He always loved to smile," she said.

Taehyung weakly smiled and nodded, tears in his eyes.

"That night, I made a promise."

"What promise?" Taehyung asked.

"He told me that I would live a happy life."

She looked at Taehyung with sorrowful eyes. "It's been hard, Tae. Sometimes, I wanted to break that promise, but he always appeared in my dreams and stopped me."

Overwhelmed with guilt, Taehyung hugged her tightly, his chin resting on her shoulder as he cried loudly. "I'm sorry, Hana. It's all my fault. If I hadn't distrusted your perfect life, none of this would have happened. I'm sorry."

Hana hugged him back just as tightly. "Aniyo, you didn't do anything wrong, paboya. It was fate, both mine and Jungkook's. It's not your fault."

"I'll solve everything and make your life beautiful, I promise. Believe me," Taehyung said with determination.

She broke the hug and looked at him with soft eyes. "I believe you, Tae. And I want to ask you something."

"What is it?" he asked.

She leaned closer to his ear and whispered, "Bring the old Hana back. I miss her."

A smile spread across Taehyung's face. "Me too. I'm missing her as well," he replied.

That night was both hellish and heavenly for them, filled with pain but also a renewed connection.

The next day, Hana asked, "Tae, where are you going?"

"For some office work," he replied.

"You're impossible, Kim Taehyung. Don't you ever rest? It's Sunday," she said, exasperated.

"I know, but it's just a little work. I'll be back in an hour," he reassured her.

"Okay, boss. I was just saying," she said, her tone low.

Taehyung noticed and added, "Movie tonight. Be ready."

As he left the room, her chuckle followed him.

Later, Taehyung met Jimin at a café. "So, Taehyung, why did you call me here?" Jimin asked.

"I need your uncle's contact. I want to know every detail about his boss. I know he did that to Hana and Jungkook," Taehyung explained.

"You're right, Taehyung. But my uncle has transferred to Daegu. Don't worry, I have his address. You can go and meet him," Jimin said.

"Arasseo, I'll go now," Taehyung said.

From: Husband
I'm going to Daegu. It's urgent. I'll be late. Take care, araji?

To: Husband
Araji! Have a great journey. Eat well.

Reading her message, a smile appeared on his face. After some time, he reached the location in Daegu, ringing the bell of an old house. An older man answered the door.

"Yes? What brings you here?" the man asked.

"Mr. Park Nam Young?" Taehyung inquired.

"Yes, that's me. What can I help you with?" Mr. Park asked.

"May I come in? I need to speak with you," Taehyung said.

"Sure, come inside," Mr. Park invited him.

After they sat down, Taehyung introduced himself. "Firstly, I'm Kim Taehyung, the CEO of Kim Industries."

Mr. Park stood up, astonished. "Are you the Kim Taehyung?"

Taehyung smiled and nodded. "I need to ask you about the incident from nine years ago. Where were you working then?"

Mr. Park became silent, visibly uncomfortable. "Please tell me, Mr. Park. I know about the incident. I need information about that man. I came here for this."

With a heavy sigh, Mr. Park began, "Nine years ago, I was his personal assistant. His father appointed me to watch over him. That night, a girl slapped him for flirting and saying something bad about her. The boy with her punched him too. That's why he did that to them. He was Lee Min Ho, the former CEO of Lee Industries. After the incident, his father sent him to America and cast him out of the family. I've heard he's living in America now."

"Thank you, Mr. Park. You did well. I have to go now; it's getting late," Taehyung said, standing up.

"Ani, you can't go. You just arrived," Mr. Park protested.

"Aniyo, I have to go. My wife is waiting for me. My flight is in half an hour back to Seoul. Annyeong, nice to meet you, Mr. Park," Taehyung said, leaving quickly.

As Taehyung drove home, the weight of Hana's story and the new information he had learned bore heavily on his mind. He was determined to right the wrongs and help Hana reclaim her life and happiness.
