**Episode 17**
---
Hana lay on her bed, lost in thought. The weight of recent events bore heavily on her, and she found herself reflecting on a distant memory.
**Flashback**
"Yaaah, yaah, yahh," Hana panted heavily, her frustration palpable as she punched the sand in the sandbox. She had been expelled from class that day for arriving late.
"Because you came late, Hana-ya," Jungkook's voice was calm and soothing as he approached her.
The anger melted away as Hana turned to him, her eyes narrowing in frustration. "What do you mean, Mr. Jeon? Will you explain?"
Jungkook raised his hands in mock surrender. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, chill out. Don't scare me. You're acting all riled up."
Hana pouted, her anger subsiding as she sat down beside him. "It wasn't my fault. Lisa deliberately ruined my uniform, and I was late getting ready. I told the teacher, but she didn't listen."
"And so you slapped Lisa in front of the whole class," Jungkook said with a hint of amusement.
"Yeah, nobody should treat me badly. If someone does, I'll beat them," Hana declared with a defiant edge.
Jungkook chuckled and pinched her chubby cheeks. "Haha, that's my Hana. But you haven't eaten anything, so let's go get something."
"Alright," Hana agreed, her pout turning into a reluctant smile.
Jungkook intertwined his hand with hers, and together they left to find something to eat.
**End of Flashback**
Now, Hana lay in bed, her heart heavy with nostalgia and regret. "Waaahhh, Jeon Jungkook, why did you leave me? Why did you take away everything you loved about me?" she murmured, her voice tinged with sorrow.
She sighed, a mix of pain and self-reproach filling her as she whispered to herself, "They were right. I am so shameless. Ahn Hana, shame on you." Her smile was bittersweet as she sobbed silently.
Days passed, and Hana withdrew from everyone. Her silence and isolation worried those around her, but she remained unresponsive. One evening, her brother, Yeonjun, came home in a drunken state, and the house was empty.
"Yeo-Yeonjun-ah, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Hana asked, her voice filled with concern as she noticed his inebriated condition.
Yeonjun pushed past her and stumbled to his room, locking the door behind him. Hana followed, knocking frantically.
"Yeonjun-ah, open the door!" she shouted, growing anxious.
Inside the room, Yeonjun's voice was muffled. "Please, Noona, leave me alone. I want to be alone."
"Are you crying, Yeonjun?" Hana asked, her worry increasing. When no reply came, she threatened, "Choi Yeonjun, if you don't open this door, I'll go back to London. Believe me, I'll leave if you don't open it."
After a tense moment, the door opened, and Yeonjun pulled her into a tight embrace, tears streaming down his face. Hana was alarmed by his distress.
"W-Wae, Yeonjun-ah? What's wrong? Tell me!" she urged.
Yeonjun sobbed, "I really love her, Noona. I can't live without her. I swear."
"What? Who are you talking about? Is it Miss Kim? Soomin mentioned her before," Hana asked, her curiosity piqued.
Yeonjun nodded, and Hana pressed for details. "So Yeonjun, tell me what's wrong."
"Her name is Kim Yoo Jung. She's my classmate, and we're in a relationship. We really love each other," he explained.
"So, what's the problem?" Hana asked.
"Noona, she's from a very wealthy family. Her mother found out about us and engaged her to Kang Taehyun from the Kang family. He's also our classmate. Yoo Jung told me today that we should break up. She's heartbroken too, but there's nothing she can do. Her elder brother dislikes me and threatened to send me away if I don't stay away from her," Yeonjun revealed.
"Her brother did what? Is he crazy?" Hana exclaimed.
Yeonjun nodded. "He's just 'Kim Taehyung.'"
The mention of Kim Taehyung's name shocked Hana. "What did you say? Kim Taehyung?"
Yeonjun nodded again.
"You're coming with me to his house. I'll handle this," Hana declared firmly.
"Noona, he's very powerful. You can't do anything," Yeonjun protested.
"Do as I say and come with me tomorrow," Hana instructed him.
"Okay, Noona," Yeonjun agreed reluctantly.
"Now go take a shower and get some rest, alright?" Hana said gently.
Yeonjun nodded. "I love you, Noona."
Hana smiled warmly. "Love you too, Yeonjun-ah. Now, go on."
**Kim's Mansion**
Yoo Jung approached Kim Taehyung's mansion, her anxiety evident. She was stopped by Mr. Byun, the housekeeper.
"Do you need something, Little Miss?" Mr. Byun asked.
"I came to see Oppa. Please let me in, Mr. Byun," she requested.
"But Miss Yoo Jung, Mr. Kim has instructed that he's not in the mood to see anyone. I can't let you in," Mr. Byun said firmly.
Yoo Jung tried to push past him. "Please, let me in."
"Sorry, Master. I informed her of your instructions, but she insisted," Mr. Byun said, bowing as Taehyung appeared.
"You can go, Mr. Byun," Taehyung ordered, and Mr. Byun left.
Taehyung stood with his back to Yoo Jung as she entered.
"Oppa, I need to talk to you," Yoo Jung said, her voice trembling.
"Sit down, Yoo Jung-ah," Taehyung said calmly.
"Yes, Oppa," she replied, sitting down.
"So, Yoo Jung, what brings you here?" Taehyung asked.
"I just wanted to ask if you met Yeonjun yesterday," Yoo Jung said.
"Hmm," Taehyung replied simply.
Yoo Jung stood up, her emotions spilling over. "Why, Oppa? You know we love each other. Today, you ruined everything. I told him to stay away, but I can't live without Choi Yeonjun. I won't marry Taehyun."
"Stop right there, Yoo Jung-ah," Taehyung interrupted.
"I won't stop," she retorted.
Taehyung placed his hands on her shoulders. "I really care about your feelings, Yoo Jung. Trust me, Yeonjun will be with you. Just wait."
Yoo Jung looked into his dark eyes, surprised by his sincerity. "What are you going to do, Oppa? Can I trust you?"
Taehyung nodded. "Yes, trust me. Just wait a little while."
Yoo Jung's anger subsided, and she apologized. "I'm sorry for shouting. I'm embarrassed."
"It's okay. Just go and eat something," Taehyung said.
---
Back in her room, Hana spoke to Jungkook's photo, a resolve forming within her. "I don't know what will happen tomorrow, but I promise, Yeonjun-ah, I won't let you suffer. I'll face Kim Taehyung. I have to be strong, right, Jungkookie?" she asked the photo, her voice filled with determination.
