**Episode 20**

As Taehyung's grip on Hana's wrist tightened, she could feel the intense pressure and the sting of pain. Her tears began to fall as he pressed his chin against her shoulder, an unspoken dominance evident in his actions. Hana cried out, "Tae-Tae-hyung, please, you're hurting me. Stop!"

Taehyung's voice was laced with a mixture of curiosity and frustration. "What did you just say? What could you possibly know that I don't?" His tone suggested that he was beginning to suspect that there was more to Hana's words than mere distress.

"N-nothing, Taehyung. I-I said you're hurting me," Hana sobbed, hoping to alleviate the pain. Taehyung's grip finally relented, and he released her, his expression unreadable.

"I'm going to the office. I have some work to attend to," he said coldly before walking out, leaving Hana alone with her thoughts and the lingering ache.

After dinner, the family gathered in the sitting area. Mrs. Kim, Yoo Jung, Taehyung, and Hana were seated on the couch when Mrs. Smith arrived.

"Is there anything else anyone would like?" Mrs. Smith inquired with a bow.

Hana and Mrs. Kim both declined, shaking their heads. Taehyung requested, "Espresso, but please bring it to my room."

"I'll have my pistachio milk, Ahjuma," Yoo Jung added.

Mrs. Smith nodded and left to fulfill their requests.

"So, Eomma, what did you want to discuss with us?" Taehyung asked, sitting beside Hana, while Mrs. Kim and Yoo Jung remained across from them.

Mrs. Kim began, "Well, Taehyung, now that you're married, it's important to address the situation. The news of your marriage has spread far and wide, and unfortunately, some people in our society are spreading negative comments about you and your wife. This could tarnish our family's reputation."

Taehyung listened intently. "I understand, Eomma."

To mitigate the damage, Mrs. Kim had arranged a reception party to serve as a formal introduction of Hana into the family. "I've organized a reception ceremony for you both. Media will be present, so you'll need to be prepared," she explained.

Taehyung responded with a brief "I see."

Mrs. Kim continued, "Also, your father won't be able to attend. He's in Japan with Seokjin, but he wanted me to pass on his congratulations and remind you to take good care of your wife, especially her health."

"Will this event happen soon?" Taehyung inquired.

"Day after tomorrow," Mrs. Kim confirmed.

"Fine," Taehyung said.

Mrs. Kim concluded, "Well then, the family meeting is over. Taehyung, Hana, this is your first night as a married couple. Best of luck," she said with a smirk before leaving, and Yoo Jung gave Hana an encouraging thumbs up.

As they moved to their room, the atmosphere was tense and silent. Hana sat on a chair, staring at the TV screen, while Taehyung emerged from the bathroom after a long shower. He looked at her and asked, "Don't you want to take a shower?"

"Ah? Yes, I'm going," Hana responded, heading to the bathroom.

After a warm and luxurious shower, Hana emerged to find Taehyung reading a book, his round glasses perched on the edge of his nose. He looked up and remarked, "Oh, you're back. Tomorrow, you need to go shopping with Yoo Jung."

Hana nodded, then stood still, seemingly unsure of her next move.

"Why are you standing like a statue?" Taehyung asked, annoyance creeping into his voice.

"I was just wondering where I should sleep," Hana replied.

Taehyung approached her, bending down to meet her gaze. "What do you think? Where should you sleep?"

"On the bed," Hana answered hesitantly.

"If you knew that, why are you still standing here?" Taehyung whispered, his proximity making Hana uneasy.

"I-I was thinking about where you would sleep if I took the bed," she stammered.

Taehyung's expression shifted, and he began walking towards her. Hana backed away until her back was against the bathroom door. Taehyung placed his hands on her waist and whispered, "Don't worry. My bed isn't too small; we can manage."

Hana stammered, "I-I think—"

Suddenly, Taehyung burst into loud laughter and punched the wall beside her head, causing Hana to flinch in fear. "What do you think, Hana? Did you marry me to be treated like a princess? You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into," he said, his voice dripping with disdain.

Just then, a knock on the door interrupted them. "Come in," Taehyung said.

A maid entered with a mug of espresso. "Madam Smith asked me to deliver this to you, Master," she said hesitantly.

"Place it on the study table," Taehyung instructed. The maid complied and left.

Turning back to Hana, Taehyung said coldly, "And you will sleep outside the room. Understand?"

"What? Outside the room? It's cold out there, and there's a pool," Hana protested.

"I don't care. Just go and don't waste my time," he snapped.

Hana, feeling defeated, grabbed a sleeping bag and set it up on the floor outside the room. She lay down, trying to ignore the cold as she drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Taehyung left for the office early. Hana managed to have her breakfast and was then joined by Yoo Jung.

"Are you ready, Eonni? Oppa mentioned you wanted to go shopping," Yoo Jung asked cheerfully.

Hana nodded. "Just give me a moment."

They spent the day shopping extensively. Yoo Jung's taste was impeccable, but Hana was troubled by the high costs. "Yoo Jung, why are we shopping here? It's so expensive. I can't afford these things," Hana said.

Yoo Jung smiled and pinched Hana's cheek. "Eonni, it's not a big deal. Oppa loves Gucci, so you need to buy lots of clothes, fancy shoes, sandals, and bags. After that, we'll head to Puma and other makeup stores."

Hana's eyes widened at the extent of the shopping. Despite her initial reluctance, they had a great time together.

As they wrapped up their shopping, Hana said, "Yoo Jung, you're a really good person. You should be with Yeonjun. He truly loves you."

Yoo Jung embraced her and replied, "I know, Eonni. He does love me, and I also know that Oppa loves you too—since his school days."

"Really?" Hana asked in surprise.

"Yes, Eonni. When I was a child, I used to sneak into his room and saw many photos of you in his favorite book," Yoo Jung revealed.

"Is that true?" Hana asked, astonished.

"Yes, I'm sure he still feels that way. I bet he does now," Yoo Jung said.

Hana was skeptical but decided to let it go. "Well, it's up to you."

They returned home, and Hana continued to process the revelations and the complexities of her new life.
