**Episode 21**

Upon her return home, Hana found Taehyung engrossed in his laptop, oblivious to her presence. She decided not to disturb him, but Taehyung soon noticed her. His voice carried an edge of annoyance. "Look who's back!"
"Am I late?" Hana asked, her tone unsure.
"Like who cares?" he retorted dismissively.
Hana walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, while Taehyung remained seated on the sofa, legs crossed. She watched him silently, and he broke the silence with a sharp tone. "What?"
"I thought Kim Taehyung had completely changed," Hana said.
"So?" Taehyung inquired.
"Well, I was wrong," Hana replied.
Taehyung placed his laptop on the table beside him, his index finger resting on his chin as he scrutinized her. "Why?"
"One thing hasn't changed about you," Hana began. "You were always hardworking before, and you still are now. That means you haven't changed."
"Aishhh, seriously? I'm not interested in this conversation. I'm busy. Please clean up this mess in front of me," Taehyung said, clearly irritated.
"Mr. Ice," Hana mumbled under her breath.
"What did you say?" Taehyung demanded.
"Nothing," Hana quickly answered.
Their interaction ended, and Hana went to sleep near the swimming pool, curling up in a deep, troubled slumber. Meanwhile, Taehyung remained restless, contemplating the events of the day and Hana's behavior. Eventually, he slid open the mirror door to the pool area, knelt beside Hana, and examined her sleeping face. He placed his warm hand on her forehead, his expression softening.
"Mianhe, Hana-ya, mianhe," he whispered. "I know something is wrong, but I don't know what it is. I want to understand. I know you loved someone else before—where is he? But I need to hear it from you. I can only help you in my own way, and believe me, I will. One thing is for certain: this so-called 'nerd' Kim Taehyung loves only one person in this world, and that's Ahn Hana—oh, sorry, Kim Hana." He gently kissed her forehead before returning to the room.
The day of the reception arrived in a whirlwind of activity. The house was abuzz with preparations as Hana stood before the mirror, dressed in a charming pink frock that reached her knees. She had styled her hair elegantly and applied light makeup, looking stunning. Suddenly, the door opened, and Taehyung entered.
"Kim Taehyung," Hana greeted.
Taehyung froze, taking in her appearance with visible admiration. He walked over and approached her. "I'm ready, Tae—"
Before she could finish, Taehyung leaned in and pecked her on the lips, causing her to blush deeply.
"W-wae?" she stammered.
"Just making sure you blush in front of everyone," Taehyung said with a smirk.
Hana noticed Taehyung's own striking appearance in a dark suit, and she commented, "You look handsome, Taehyung."
"Don't need to tell me that; I already know," he responded, turning to offer his arm.
They made their way downstairs, appearing as a happy, newly-wedded couple. All eyes were on them as they entered the reception hall.
"Wah, daebak, she's so beautiful!"
"I heard she's not from a wealthy family."
"Kim Taehyung doesn't care about that."
"I heard Mrs. Hong wanted to marry her daughter to Kim Taehyung, but he rejected her."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"But they look fantastic together."
"Yeah, I heard they were classmates before."
The guests whispered and murmured about the couple. Mrs. Kim was busy introducing Hana to others, while Taehyung mingled with his business partners and employees.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Hong was keeping a close eye on the proceedings. Her daughter, Min Hee, had been drinking heavily and was clearly upset. "Min Hee, stop right there. You're drinking too much," Mrs. Hong advised.
"I can't watch this anymore, Eomma," Min Hee retorted.
"If you can't handle it, why did you come?" her mother asked.
"I was just curious about Kim Taehyung's wife. Don't worry, Eomma, I'm fine," Min Hee insisted.
Mrs. Hong shook her head. "Take care of yourself. I'm going to see Mrs. Joon," she said, departing.
Min Hee, with a clear intention, discreetly mixed a packet into a drink. "Waiter, come here," she called out.
"Yes, Mam?" the waiter responded.
"Serve this to Mrs. Kim Hana," Min Hee instructed.
"Mrs. Hana?" the waiter asked, and Min Hee nodded.
The event continued, and soon it was time for Taehyung's speech. The crowd hushed as a man announced, "I would like to call Mr. Kim Taehyung, the CEO of Kim Industries, to the stage."
Taehyung stood and approached the podium. "Annyeonghaseo, everyone. I hope you're all healthy and happy. Today's party is to officially announce my marriage. No—"
Suddenly, Hana interrupted, shouting, "Aniya!" The room turned to look at her as she walked to the stage and grabbed Taehyung by the collar.
"Wae, Kim freaking Taehyung? What did I do to you? And why is everyone calling me Mrs. Kim Hana? I'm not Mrs. Kim Hana! I'm—" Hana's voice broke off.
A journalist asked, "If you're not Mrs. Kim, then who are you?"
"I-I'm Jeon Hana," she declared, causing gasps among the crowd.
"Jeon? But weren't you Ahn Hana?" another journalist questioned.
Taehyung tried to intervene, but Hana ignored him. "Let me speak, Taehyung. Well, Jeon Jungkook is the one I was supposed to love, but you know what? He—" Her voice faltered as tears welled up in her eyes. The pain she felt was palpable, and she stuttered as she struggled to articulate her feelings. Before she could say more, Taehyung stepped in.
"I think she's drunk and not in her right mind. She's speaking nonsense, so we should leave and not pay attention to what she said," Taehyung declared, taking Hana's hand and leading her away. His anger was evident.
In a secluded, dark room—possibly a storage room—Taehyung threw Hana down and pinned her to the floor. He gripped her fists tightly, causing her pain.
"Wae? Why did you do this? I can't understand you, Hana. You're ridiculous!" he yelled.
Hana remained silent, her eyes filled with a mix of defiance and sadness. Taehyung continued to shout, "If you want to be Jeon Hana, then why aren't you? Where is that jerk, Jeon Jungkook? Wasn't he supposed to love you?"
Hana finally broke her silence. "He didn't leave. He disappeared."
Taehyung's grip loosened, confusion evident on his face. "Wh-what do you mean—"
Before he could finish, Hana leaned in and kissed him, surprising him. After a brief, intense moment, she broke the kiss and lay down beside him, hugging him tightly. Her head rested on his chest as she sobbed quietly.
"I'm sorry, Tae," she whispered through her tears. "I'm sorry for what I did to you before. It's true that I don't love you, but I want to be a good friend. Jeon Jungkook disappeared, and I need him. Please, Tae, do something. I'm begging you."
Taehyung held her close, tears streaming down his face as well. "Shush, pabo-ya. I'll help you. I promise," he said, his voice choked with emotion.
He carried Hana back to his room, where they spent the night together, hugging each other. Taehyung felt a complex mix of happiness and sadness, but above all, he was determined to help Hana.
