Once Sweet Pea had picked her up about a block away from the school for safety reasons, Sweet Pea parked his motorcycle at the quarry where some Serpents were already hanging out, clearly skipping last period to get there earlier.
The best friend duo got off Sweet Pea's bike and numerous Serpents immediately started to greet them, especially happy to see Jack, who hadn't been able to spend time at the quarry in a few weeks in fear of someone wondering where she was sneaking off to immediately after leaving school everyday.
Jack sent a few younger Serpents a smile and a small 'Hey' before she and Sweet Pea headed over to Toni, Fangs, and Joaquin, who all stood near each other, "Jack?" Fangs loudly gasped, causing Jack to smile.
Fangs rushed over to Jack, engulfing his friend in a hug, "Dude, where have you been!" He exclaimed loudly, "It's been weeks!"
Jack smiled, hugging him back before Sweet Pea pulled them away from each other for specific reasons unknown to everyone but him, Fangs, and Jack.
"The school day hasn't ended yet, Jack," Joaquin asked as Jack walked closer to the group alongside Sweet Pea and Fangs, "What the hell are you doing here already?"
Joaquin smiled, handing Jack a beer. Jack chuckled, opening up the beer before taking a large sip of it, "Well, I might have a caused a scene back at school," She informed the group, "This football player was bothering me and he told me I had no friends. What really got me mad was when he called my sister a crazy bitch though. I ended up punching him in the face. Everyone was looking at me and I couldn't take it anymore. I think I might have ruined my good girl image."
"Want me to kick his ass?" Sweet Pea asked Jack, causing the whole group to turn their heads to look at him, "Say the word and I'll do it."
Jack laughed at Sweet Pea in amusement, "And expose me as being Serpent adjacent? I'll be branded as a Southside sympathizer and everything will be ruined because I'm not fully a Serpent," She explained to them, letting out a sigh in defeat.
"What if we changed that?" Joaquin questioned, leaning forward in where he sat, "The four of us could help you convince FP to let you become a Serpent. He already likes you."
"It'll be pretty easy, seeing as you're technically a Serpent by blood." Fangs added in as he shrugged his shoulders.
"My mom doesn't count," Jacqueline argued, "My Aunt Alice and my mother ditched the Serpents a long time ago. I'm not even supposed to know about that," She paused, raising a brow at Joaquin, "What would I have to do to get into the Serpents exactly?"
"Just the Serpent dance, of course," Sweet Pea reminded her before turning to look at Joaquin, "But I think Joaquin wants something in return for the favor," He paused, giving Joaquin a glare, "It better not be what I think it is. Jack's like a sister to me."
