After school was over for the day, Reggie found himself in the school's library for the first time in the two years he had been attending the school.
He sat at the computer nearest to the printer as he researched the disorder Jack had been diagnosed with just days before. He wanted to know more about it, just so he could be a better boyfriend to her. To his left, he had already printed a few articles that he thought were most resourceful.
Suddenly, Jason and Chuck entered the school library. Reggie hadn't noticed it yet, but the duo had already began to make their way over to their supposed friend.
"We've been looking for you everywhere, Mantle," Jason spoke up as he placed his hands on Reggie's shoulders, causing the Mantle boy to jump in fright as he quickly exed out of the tabs he had open on the computer that had to do with Jack's disorder.
"Reggie Mantle reading? What has this world come to?" Chuck commented, his eyes darting over to the pile of printed articles, "Hmm. What's this?"
Reggie rushed to pick up the articles, but Chuck ended up beating him to it, "Borderline Personality Disorder," He read aloud before turning to Reggie, "The fuck are you reading this shit for?"
"None of your business," Reggie snapped at him, snatching the articles from his hands.
Jason was silent for a long moment as he began to piece everything together, "Jack has it, doesn't she?" He asked, causing both Chuck and Reggie to turn their heads to look at him, "Elena told me when we were dating that her brother and grandmother had it before their deaths. Her grandmother accidentally killed herself while self-harming because of it. Elena and Tommy were the ones to find her. She was scared that she had it too. But turns out, she didn't. Guess it skipped her and went to Jack. Wait until everyone hears about this."
"You're not telling anyone," Reggie told Jason in a stern tone, causing Jason to give him an amused look.
"Why not?" Jason questioned him with an attitude.
"Because I said so," Reggie argued as he abruptly stood up from his seat to stand face to face with Jason.
"Is that supposed to mean something to me?" Jason asked him, clenching his jaw in anger.
Reggie was silent for a moment, knowing that he had information that would get Jason and Chuck to back down, he just didn't want to share it with them, "Yeah, because I'm this close to getting Jack in bed," He hesitantly informed the two, pressing two of his fingers together to show the amount of how close he was to doing the deed.
"What are you talking about?" Chuck asked Reggie, a puzzled look on his face.
Reggie let out a large sigh before taking his phone out of his pocket. He handed Jason the phone after pulling up the texts between him and Jack. Both Jason and Chuck took a good look at the conversation to see that the text from Jack read: Come over today at 5. My parents won't be home. Bring a condom.
