The following day, Reggie ended up giving Jack a ride to school, just as he promised he would. Elena was confused when Jack refused her ride to school and she became even more confused when she watched her sister climb into the passenger's seat of Reggie Mantle's car.
Jack ended up arriving at school after her sister since she and Reggie had stopped at McDonald's to get them breakfast.
When they arrived at school, Jack frowned when she saw girls walking down the hallway wearing cheerleading uniforms that weren't Riverdale High's colors.
"What's up with that?" Jack asked Reggie confused.
Reggie gave Jack a look of disbelief, "Your sister's the captain of the cheerleading team and you didn't know today we're in the state competition with Baxter High?" He questioned her confused.
Jack shrugged her shoulders without a care in the world, "Oops?" She jokingly replied, causing Reggie smile and shake his head.
Just then, Elena rushed over alongside Midge, "There you are!" She exclaimed loudly, "I need your help."
"With what?" Jack questioned her sister confused.
"Ginger's out with the flu," She informed Jack, seeming to be in a rush, "We don't have enough to qualify for regionals. I need to you to take her place."
Jack began to laugh at Elena in amusement, "You're joking, right?" She asked before turning to Midge, "She's joking, right?"
"Sadly, I'm not," Elena sighed out, "Listen, Jack. You may not like to admit it, but I know you know our routines like the back of your hand. Every time I've had practice, you were forced to be there with me. I know you memorized them. So please, I'm begging you. Help me out and put this damn uniform on," She pleaded, holding out a River Vixen uniform.
Jack's mouth gaped open in shock as she shared a glance with Reggie, who watched the scene. She turned her head to look back at Elena, sighing in defeat, "Fine," She hesitantly spoke, "I'll do it. I'll do it."
A thankful smile formed on Elena's lips, just before she whisked her sister away, off to practice the routine one last time.

The competition between the two cheerleading teams lasted about an hour. In the end, the River Vixens ended up winning and the cheerleaders from Baxter High were not happy.
The two teams were walking from two different sides of the hallway when the captain of Baxter's high team decided to make a comment about Elena, "Crazy bitch," She muttered under her breath, "Wonder why your brother's dead."
Jack froze, stopping dead in her tracks as Elena turned to face the raven-haired girl, "What did you just say?" Elena asked the girl, clearly trying to keep her cool.
The girl sarcastically smiled at Elena, "You heard me," She commented, "I've heard about you, Elena Hall," She paused, turning to glance at Jack, "Your sister, too. You ditched your poor little sister at a high school party and got drunk, leaving her there without a ride home. She got a ride home from her brother after you ditched her for your friends. Her brother ended up crashing on the way home because of a drunk driver. The drunk driver was driving the same car you were sitting in the passenger's seat of."
Jack's mouth gaped open in shock, wondering if Elena was going to do something. She knew if she was Elena, the girl would have already been unconscious on the ground.
"I wonder how your parents can even look at you every day, knowing you're the reason their son is dead," The girl continued on and before anyone could react, Elena roughly pushed the girl against the lockers.
Elena punched the girl in the face with her right hand as she used her left hand to grip onto the girl's cheerleading uniform. Just as Elena was going to punch her again, another came up behind and pinned the girl's arm behind her back.
Jack sighed, hesitant to involve herself in a fight. It would ruin anything, but she couldn't let her get beaten up. Not when she could do something to stop it. She glanced around, noticing that surprisingly, a lot of the girls from both cheerleading teams were fighting each other. Jack fighting would not make a difference at all.
Jack roughly grabbed the girl by the shoulder slammed her against the lockers with a bang. She quickly stepped back, raising her hands up in surrender, "I don't want to fight you," She told the girl, who was clearly looking for a fight with Jack.
Jack continued to back up as the girl stalked toward her, "You're probably just as psycho as your sister," The girl commented, "I mean, why else would you forgive the murderer of your brother?"
As the girl got in her face, Jack couldn't help herself and swung a punch to her face, which landed the girl on the floor, knocked out for a few short moments.
Jack rushed over to where the captain of the Baxter High team was punching Elena repeatedly as three of the rival team's cheerleaders pinned her against the lockers.
"Well, this isn't a fair fight," Jack jokingly commented, roughly grabbing the head cheerleader by her hair before throwing her to the ground.
The girl was on all fours as she got ready to stand up. Before she could, Jack lifted her foot up and kicked the girl in the face with the front part of her high heel boot.
Elena gasped, knowing that if Jack went any further, there wasn't any going back, "Jack, no!" She shouted worriedly, trying to get out of the other girl's grip. She turned to them, a fearful look on her face, "Please, you have to let me go. I'm begging you. If you don't, your captain's going to have injuries that probably won't heal for years."
The teammates didn't listen and continued to fight her. Jack climbed on top of the head cheerleader. She grabbed the top of her uniform, lifting her up off the ground a bit as she delivered her hardest punch. The girl cried out, blood spilling from her nose as she fell back down onto the ground. Jack pulled her up and punched her again. She repeated the action over and over and soon enough, teachers had arrived to break up the fight.
While everyone else had stopped fighting, Jack continued on and all eyes were on her, everyone shocked by her actions.
As Elena rushed forward to stop her sister, Jack turned to face Elena and punched her sister in the face, only to realize a brief seconds later what she had done, "Elena!" She exclaimed worriedly, watching as Elena stumbled, clutching her now bleeding nose.
"Miss Hall!" Principal Weatherbee shouted, causing Jack to turn to him, "My office! Now!"
