Three days later, Jack was finally allowed out of the psychiatric hospital. It was absolute hell for Jack and she knew the experience had traumatized her forever. The morning after arriving back, Jack was forced by her mother to attend the school day.

She was pouring herself a cup of apple juice instead of coffee when Elena entered. The elder sister's eyes were wide when she saw her sister, whom she hadn't seen or talked to in four days.

"Jack--" Elena began to speak up, but Jack was quick to cut her off.

"I forgive you," Jack suddenly said, shocking both of them.

"You do?" Elena asked Jack in disbelief.

Jack smiled slightly, nodding her head. She was quiet for a brief moment as she took a large sip of her apple juice. After doing, she placed her cup down on the counter and looked over at Elena, "Just don't fuck him again or we're going to have big problems."

"I won't, I promise," Elena assured her and was shocked was Jack didn't even attempt to do their usual way of pinky promising, "Listen, Jack. You need to forgive Sweet Pea. He's worried about you."

"How do you know?" Jack asked her sister confused.

"He came over every day while you were gone to get information on how you were going. He wanted to visit you, but Mom wouldn't let him," Elena explained to her sister and Jack found herself smiling.

"As nice as it sounds..." Jack trailed off as she poured her apple juice into the sink before placing the cup in the sink also, "I don't think I can forgive him yet."

Elena furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "Why not?"

"He thought it was okay to sleep with his best friend's older sister and it isn't," Jack informed her, "It's really fucked up and he needs to learn his lesson." She paused, lifting up her backpack, "Now, can we leave? I want to get this school day over with."

Meanwhile later, instead of entering school with her friends, Elena walked in with Jack. As they walked down the hallway, numerous people stared at Jack and the large bandage on covering the palm of her right hand, "What are you looking at?" Elena glared at the people staring at Jack, "Take a picture. It lasts longer."

Jack couldn't help but smile as they stopped at her locker, "You can go, Elena," She told her sister with a sigh, "I'm fine."

"You sure?" Elena asked her sister uneasily.

"Yeah," Jack replied, nodding her head, "Go find your friends. I'm good on my own."

Elena sighed out, "Remember. Go to the nurse's office at lunch for your meds. The pills won't start working for a few more days."

"Got it," Jack responded, nodding her head in understanding before Elena left.

Soon after, Jack closed her locker door and was about to head to her first class, even though she still had a bit of time left until their first classes started.

Just then, Reggie walked over, quickly to talk to her before she got away, "Hey," He greeted her quietly, "I missed you. I haven't heard from you in a few days. I tried texting you about that day we were supposed to have and you never texted back."

"I was in the hospital," Jack admitted quietly, nervously biting her lip, "I wasn't allowed to take my phone with me."

"Hospital?" Reggie frowned in concern, "For what?"

"Supposedly, BPD runs in my family and I have it," Jack informed Reggie, who frowned even more.

"BPD?" He questioned her confused, "What's that?"

"Borderline Personality Disorder," She replied and Reggie's eyes widened in shock, causing Jack to sigh out, "Don't worry. It's not as bad as it sounds. If you want to leave and never speak to me again, I won't hold it against you."

"Hey," Reggie argued, holding Jack's hand in his own, "I'm not going anywhere. I may be an asshole, but I'm not going to leave you because you have a mental disorder."

Jack couldn't help but smile at Reggie, "You know, when I first met you, I thought you were an asshole." She commented.

Reggie smiled back at Jack, raising a brow at her, "What made you change your mind?"

"Oh, I still think you're an asshole," Jack replied, causing them both to laugh, "I've just grown to realize that there's another side to you. A good side."

Reggie's heart became panged with guilt and he knew for a fact he had to leave before he gave himself away, "Hey, look. I have to get to class, but I'll talk to you after."

Jack smiled, nodding her head, "Yeah, sure." She told him and Reggie smiled back at her slightly before beginning to walk away.

Before he could get far, Jack grabbed his hand, pulling him back over to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she pressed her lips against his. She had done it on purpose. She knew something was up with him. She had the feeling that he had doubts, which led to her making a move on him.

After she pulled away from the kiss, she smiled up at Reggie, "Why did you do that?" Reggie asked her quietly and Jack shrugged.

"I don't know," She confessed quietly, causing Reggie to smile at her before he was forced to leave.

Once he was gone, Jack started down the hallway, a smile on her face. She began to think hard on her time in the hospital. Those three days, she had always been on the verge of losing hope and giving up, but the thought of revenge on the Riverdale Bulldogs seemed to have an effect on her that made her have the courage to get through it.

Now, it was October twenty-first, which meant there were ten days until Halloween, which was the date that everyone presumed that everything would fall apart.

Reggie was dreading the day. He hoped he would have the guts to finally tell her before that and that she wouldn't leave him. But then there was Jack. She was excited about that day. She wanted nothing more to become a Serpent. And even though Joaquin had already told her that breaking Reggie's heart wasn't necessary, Jack still wanted to.

Reggie had been a sweetheart to Jack, but Jack still saw the boy as a member of the Riverdale Bulldogs. A member of the team of boys who made everyone's life at Riverdale High a living hell. And not just the students of Riverdale High, they also screwed with the Serpents, who had Jack yearning even more for that revenge. And she would get just that.
