At Riverdale High's football field, Reggie, Jason, Chuck, and Moose were just getting done having practice with the rest of the football team.
Reggie ended up telling the group about what had happened. He was dying to get some advice on what to do next. He wasn't used to rejection. Any girl he had ever tried to pursue threw themselves at him. He didn't need to do much to get them into bed. He just had to flirt a bit and they would be on their knees.
"I texted her and she left me on read," Reggie informed the group, "I don't know what to do."
"She'll come back to you," Jason assured him, "Don't worry. I mean, look what she did at the party. She surprised everyone. She's clearly falling for you."
"You think?" Reggie asked him curiously.
"Yup," Jason replied, "Soon enough, she's going to be losing her virginity to you and you're going to get your five hundred bucks."
"Hey, how's it going with the whole Polly and Elena?" Chuck asked Jason curiously.
"Polly's throwing herself at me while Elena's rejecting me every chance she gets," Jason informed the group.
"But which one do you want?" Moose questioned Jason.
"Honestly, I want Elena more than anything. I love her, but I fucked that all up when I slept with Polly at Reggie's party," Jason confessed and the whole group was shocked at how genuine he sounded, "I didn't even mean for it to happen, I swear. I don't even remember sleeping with her. I just woke up the next morning in bed with Polly next to me. We were both naked so we clearly slept together."
Reggie and Moose shared a glance with each other, knowing exactly what had happened that night.

Later on, nightfall had come and even though it was a Monday, the majority of Riverdale teenagers were at the twilight drive since it was the night where it was a double feature.
Sweet Pea and Jack were there together, walking through the aisles of cars as they conversed with one another.
"So, are you giving up yet?" Sweet Pea asked Jack curiously, causing her to frown.
"Why would I do that?" Jack frowned in confusion.
"He's been texting you all night and you haven't answered him," Sweet Pea told her, causing Jack to sigh out.
"I already told you, Pea. I'm doing it on purpose," She reminded him with a smile on her face, "Soon enough, he's going to be running back to me, begging for my forgiveness. But I'm not going to forgive him until he mans up and does it in person."
"Speak of the devil," Sweet Pea commented quietly, causing Jack to turn her head to see from afar.
He was wearing his usual letterman jacket and blue jeans. He hadn't noticed her at first, even though he had only come to the drive in to find her.
Soon enough, he locked eyes on her and their stares lingered for a moment until Reggie walked in their direction, "Fuck," She muttered under her breath, causing Sweet Pea to give her an amused look.
"And that is my cue," Sweet Pea stated, turning to look at Jack, "Be careful. I'll call you after to see how it went."
"Bye," Jack replied, watching as he left.
Finally, after a moment, Reggie had got to her and stopped in front of her, "Hey," He greeted her, a small smile on his face as he awkwardly dug his hands into his jacket pockets.
It was silent between them for a moment before Reggie gestured in the direction that Sweet Pea had left in, which was toward where the other Serpents were hanging out, all of which were making lots of noise, just as they always did. Honestly, they just did it to annoy the Northside, but that was beside the point.
"Was that Sweet Pea?" Reggie asked Jack, a curious look on his face, "From when we were younger?"
"Yeah," She answered without a care in the world.
"You're still friends with him?" He questioned, a weird look on his face.
Jack nodded her head in confirmation, "Yeah, why?" She replied, clearly getting a bit defensive when she heard the slight hint of disgust in his tone of voice.
Reggie shrugged his shoulders slightly, "Just surprised you two are still friends. You know, since he became a Serpent and all. I mean, everyone heard about it. We all saw it coming though."
"What does him being a Serpent have to do with anything?" Jack asked defensively, "He's still my best friend no matter what."
Reggie sighed dramatically, knowing that if they continued to talk about Sweet Pea, it would lead in an argument and Reggie knew there was no way he could win an argument with her if it had to do with Sweet Pea. She had been sticking up for the boy since the first grade. No matter who it was, she would fight anyone who would try to mess with him.
"Okay, how about we stop talking about Sweet Pea?" He suggested, feeling the need to change the subject before an argument started, "I came here to tell you sorry."
Jack nodded her head slightly, crossing her arms over her chest, "For?" She questioned him curiously, raising a brow at him.
"For trying to kiss you," He said quietly, giving her an ashamed look, "I shouldn't have done that."
"Well, I forgive you," She responded after a moment.
Reggie lifted his head up, giving the girl a shocked look, "Really?" He asked her in disbelief.
"Yes," She nodded her head in confirmation, "But do it again and I'll kick your ass."
Reggie gave Jack an amused look, "You threaten me a lot, you know. I'm starting not to believe--" Before Reggie could finish his sentence, Jack had punched him in the face before knocking him to the ground with her leg.
"What the hell, Jack!" Reggie exclaimed loudly, clutching the side of his face, "I still have a bruise on my jaw from last time."
"You underestimated me, Reggie," Jack commented as she held her hand out to help him up, "Don't do it again. Or I'll make your life a living hell."
Reggie couldn't help the small smile that formed on his lips as he clutched the cheek, "I don't know why, but I'm slightly turned on by this," he remarked as Jack grabbed his arm to help him off the ground.
"Please, never say that again," Jack responded, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"I can't help it!" Reggie complained.
"Hey, I'll make a deal with you. Don't attempt to make any of your shitty flirtatious comments and I'll watch the movie in your car with you."
"Deal," Reggie replied, about wrap an arm around her as they walked toward his car.
"Don't do that," Jack said bluntly as she shrugged his arm off of her.
"Okay, then," Reggie awkwardly responded, feeling as though it had been the hundredth time that day that Jack had rejected him.
AN: Jack's rejecting Reggie left and right and it's both sad and funny in a way😂
