The weekend had gone by quick, just as it always seemed to. Jack had spent her time at Fangs' trailer until Sunday, when she was forced to come home because her parents were arriving back.

During her time at Fangs', never once did she leave the trailer, no matter how much Fangs tried to convince her to. Sweet Pea had come over numerous times, trying to convince Fangs to let him in so that he could apologize to Jack. Fangs didn't let him in, though, knowing that Jack wanted nothing to do with him.

By the time she had arrived back home on Sunday, she had at least fifty missed calls and texts on her phone, all of which were from Sweet Pea, Elena, and of course, Reggie.

On Monday morning, Jack was in the kitchen, having coffee when Elena entered, "Thanks for forcing me to clean up all by myself at the party," Elena complained, but Jack didn't answer, "Are you still not talking to me? It was a stupid hookup! Get over it."

Not being able to handle her anger, Jack roughly smashed the coffee cup that was in her hand against the wall, causing Elena to flinch in fear, clearly not knowing what Jack was capable of at that moment, "It wasn't just a stupid hookup, Elena! Sweet Pea's the person who means the most to me in this world and you slept with him! You screwing him would be as if I had slept with Jason while you two were dating. What would you feel like if I did that, huh? Answer me! I hate you, Elena. Don't speak to me, don't look at me, don't even think about me."

Elena had tears streaming down her cheek as she gave Jack a saddened look, "I'm sorry, Jack!" She cried out, "I didn't mean for it to happen."

"I saw the two of you during truth or dare. When you were asked who else you've slept with in that room, your eyes immediately went to Sweet Pea. I'm not stupid. You're a liar!" She shouted and Elena gave her an angry look.

"And you're no better!" Elena shouted back, "I'm not the only one who saw you and Fangs looking at each other when he was talking about taking his friend's best friend's virginity. You're the girl!"

"Shut up!" Jack screamed at her, just before her mother arrived.

"What the hell is going on here? It's seven in the morning!" Her mother complained, only to see the spilled coffee on the wall and the shattered cup, "What's going on?"

Jack scoffed, roughly picking up her bag before leaving the house. She slammed the door on the way out, causing both Elena and Diana to flinch at how loud it was.

Jack was walking down the hallway once entering school, only to see numerous people eying her. She scoffed, deciding to ignore the stares. She stopped in her tracks when she saw the football players messing with Jughead Jones.

She rolled her eyes, just before walking over to the group, "Leave him alone," She demanded sternly, glancing between Jason and Chuck while Reggie awkwardly stood there.

"And why should we listen to Southside Scum like you?" Jason questioned Jack with an attitude, "I'm not the only one who saw how close you were with that reptile. Fangs, was it? We all saw you leave with him. I bet you probably went back to his trailer to screw him."

Jack balled her left hand tightly into a fist. She growled, about to step forward to attack him.

Before she could, Reggie quickly grabbed Jason and Chuck by the arms and pulled them away from the scene. Jughead gave Jack a thankful look before walking off to God knows where.

"You better shut up," Jack heard Reggie complain to Jason, who was ranting about Jack.

"What?" Jason asked Reggie, dumbfounded.

"What do you mean, 'What'?" Reggie snapped at him, "I'm sick of you talking shit about Jack. Just stop messing with her. She didn't even do anything."

Jason gave Reggie a look of disbelief, clearly shocked that he was sticking up for Jack, "Seriously, Reg?" He complained to Reggie, "How far are these feelings for Jack going to go? She's not who we thought she was. She's not innocent, she's a Serpent Sl--"

Before Jason could finish his sentence, Reggie roughly grabbed him by the collar of his letterman jacket and slammed him against the wall, "You know what?" Reggie asked him angrily, "You need to shut the hell up, Blossom. If you mess with her again, I'll--"

"You'll what, huh?" Jason asked Reggie daringly, giving him an amused look.

"I'll tell everyone about what really happened that night with Polly Cooper," Reggie threatened Jason in a hushed tone.

As Jason pushed Reggie off of him, Jack smiled and began to walk away, "Screw you, man," Jason told Reggie, "Go have fun with your little Southside girlfriend."

________

In Biology class, Jack was sitting in the back row, just as she always did. She had earbuds in, clearly not listening to the teacher. When the end of the class came, she quickly gathered her belongings before heading out of the classroom. Just then, one of her earbuds were pulled out, causing Jack to turn her head to see that it was Reggie, "What do you want?" She asked the boy annoyed.

"I'm sorry, Jack," He apologized and Jack knew by the look on his face that he was being sincere, "Please, forgive me. I shouldn't have said that about your friend. I was jealous and I say stupid things when I'm jealous. And just like you always say, I guess you bruised my large ego."

Jack couldn't help but smile at the last part of his sentence. As much as she should have said she didn't forgive him, she couldn't find the guts to. Not when this game of hers was just starting up.

That was thing. Jack was no longer doing it to become a Serpent. While staying at Fangs' trailer, Toni and Joaquin had come over. They told her that they no longer felt as though the whole 'breaking Reggie Mantle's heart' idea was unnecessary. They thought it was going too far, yet Jack argued and told them that she was still going to continue. It became almost obsessive, which concerned Joaquin and Toni, but they decided to let her be.

Jack smiled up at Reggie, nodding her head, "I forgive you," She told him quietly and Reggie was a bit shocked.

"Really?" He asked in disbelief and Jack nodded her head in response, "Hey, listen. I want to make up for what I did so would you maybe want to do something tonight? Maybe go to the Bijou?"

Jack smiled, "Sounds good," She responded before placing her headphones in.

She gave the boy a small wave, just before walking off.
