Warning: Smut, but there will a warning within the chapter on where it starts and ends 'cause I don't want anyone who refuses to read the smut part to miss the whole entire chapter because there is some important stuff within this chapter.

Jack tread water as she remained above the surface. She was unable to touch the ground while Reggie was, seeing as he was about seven inches taller than her.

They played around a bit, splashing each other like little kids. Realizing she hadn't invited Reggie to the lake to have fun, she got herself back on task of seducing him into falling in love with her.

Jack swam closer to Reggie until they were just inches away from each other. It was silent between them as Jack closely wrapped her arms around Reggie to keep herself above the water without having to swim. Reggie stared intently into her eyes as he moved her hair out her face with his right hand.

He tucked the strand of hair behind her hair before keeping that hand on the side of her face, "I thought you said you wanted us to be just be friends," Reggie told her, not breaking the eye contact they had maintained for a good minute and a half.

It was quiet between them for a long moment as Jack shook her head, smiling slightly. She knew the right words to say to him at that moment and she knew for a fact that it was going to get her to the next level, "We can't be just friends, Reggie," She spoke up after a moment, "Don't you get that by now?"

Reggie was shocked for a long moment as he tried to process what she had said to him. He never knew Jack, of all people, would be so straight forward about it. He felt as though the girl was really starting to fall for him and as much as that should have been a good thing in his department, he felt guilty.

She was different than any girl he had ever met. And he felt as though breaking her heart would end up with him breaking his own in the process. That was when he realized that he was starting to have feelings for her, which was probably the greatest mistake he could make.

But that was for two different reasons. The first one being that he wasn't supposed to be the one falling for the other in the bet Jason had met, it was supposed to be the other way around. And the second, which happened to be the most important, was that it meant he was falling right into Jack's trap. That was the last thing he wanted to do.

Reggie shouldn't have, but he couldn't stop himself. He wrapped his arms securely around Jack's waist, breaking the already small gap between them. Instinctively, Jack had wrapped her legs around Reggie's waist, which came as a shock to them both.

He leaned forward, his eyes slowly closing as his lips softly pressed against Jack's. It took Jack a moment before she closed her eyes also, beginning to kiss back. Reggie had realized it, but as Jack kissed him, a smirk played on her lips the entire time. She had him right where she wanted him, unlike Reggie, who had already made up his mind that the following morning, he was calling off the bet he had with Jason and Chuck. He should've listened to Moose, the only one in the friend group who even had a fraction amount of common sense.
