AN: Play when the bold text begins at the words "Whyte Wyrm" It'll kind of be odd to have the song playing during the scene of Reggie during the beginning of this chapter.
Reggie slammed his bedroom door closed, just before kicking his desk. He began to trash his room, only to feel no better. Not being able to control his anger, he balled his hand into a fist. He yelled out in anger as he punched the wall, causing his fist to go through the drywall.
He ran his hand through his air, trying to control all of the emotions he was feeling; fury, rage, anger, and most of all, heartbreak.
He leaned his back against the wall, sliding down until he was sitting on the ground. He tugged at his roots, just before sitting on the floor, beginning to cry over the losing the girl he was in love with. The same couldn't be said about Jack. She was channeling her emotions into what something more productive; reaching her goal.
AT THE WHYTE WYRM, Sweet Pea, Toni, Fangs, and Joaquin were sitting near the bar, wondering where Jack was, "Where the hell is she?" Sweet Pea asked the group concerned, "It's ten o'clock."
"What do you think happened?" Fangs said nervously.
"Who knows," Joaquin scoffed, "She'll be here."
"Something's up," Sweet Pea told the group, "I just know it."
Deciding to check his snapchat, Fangs opened a post from one of the Northsiders to see a video of what happened to Jack, "Oh, my God. Where the hell is she? We need to find her," Sweet Pea demanded.
Fangs gasped, looking up at the stage, "I think I already did," He muttered under his breath.
The lights in the Whyte Wyrm suddenly became brighter as Jack walked up onto the stage. Her hair was up and she had some type of large cloth covering her body.
As the music began, she threw the cloth onto the ground, revealing her sexy two piece of lingerie. It was red, which matched her lipstick.
The crowd began to cheer for her and as Lana Del Rey played through speakers. Jack began to sing along to the music, "Life is awesome, I confess," She sang along, taking slow, seductive steps as she walked toward the front of the stage, swaying her hips to the slow beat, "What I do, I do best. You got nothing, I got tested. And I'm best, yes."
"Lay me down tonight in my linen and curls. Lay me down tonight, Riviera girls," She continued to sing, taking her hair out of its updo before running her hands through it.
She swayed her hips in a circular motion, arching her back and tilted her head upwards as she ran her hands down her throat, chest, and stomach. Jack continued to seductively dance, turning to look at her friends as she bit her bottom lip.
"Fucked my way up to the top. This is my show. I fucked my way up to the top. Go, baby, go."
As the beat began faster, she walked over to the pole on the stage. She wrapped her left hand around the pole, flipping her hair. The chorus began and Jack hooked one of her legs around the pole before spinning.
She spun twice, just before placing both hands on the poles. She arched her back, dipping backward as she bucked her hips forward.
"I'm a dragon, you're a whore. Don't even know what you're good for. Mimicking me is a fucking bore to me. But babe," She sang, wrapping one leg around the pole as she swayed her hips side to side, "Lay me down tonight in my diamonds and pearls. Tell me songs at night about your favorite girl. I fucked my way up to the top. This is my show. I fucked my way up to the top, this is my show."
She continued to sing the seductive song as she finished her Serpent dance. By the end of the song, everyone was cheering, whistling, and clapping for her.
FP soon walked up to the stage, handing Jack her jacket, "Great job, Jack," He praised her and Jack simply nodding before stepping off the stage.
She walked over to her friends, all of which were shocked out of their mind, "Aren't you going to welcome me to the Serpents?" She asked them in a tone of voice that concerned every single one of them.
It was a tone of voice that nobody would use after getting their heart broken. After Jack had become a Serpent, any sane person would think her story was finished and that she would finally be happy, even if she didn't get the guy.
But in reality, it was only the beginning. The beginning of an even bigger story.
AN: Short last chapter, but I didn't want these two scenes into the previous chapter. I thought these two scenes would be the best scenes to be at the end of the book.
It shows the end results of their bets; Jack got what she wanted while Reggie ended up being bested at his own game and left heartbroken.
Question: is there any scenes or storylines you'd like to see happen next in the next book?
LET ME JUST TELL YOU — IN THE SECOND BOOK, SO MUCH MORE SHIT IS GOING TO HAPPEN AND JACK WILL NOW BE APART OF THE SERPENTS, WHICH WILL CAUSE EVEN MORE SHIT TO HAPPEN AND MORE STUFF WILL HAPPEN BETWEEN HER AND REGGIE. AND WHAT WILL BE KEEPING THEM COMING BACK TO TOGETHER WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO DO WITH THEIR ULTERIOR MOTIVES, IT WILL NOW BE BECAUSE THEY'RE TRULY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER EVEN IF THEY DON'T WANT TO ADMIT IT.
(Don't ask me why that was in all caps I have no clue.) 😂😂
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this book and I hope you will read the next one.
