Because the air-vent wasn't that strong to hold two boys crawling through it they fell down in the middle of a class. Joe and Ben got detention and had to clean the whole school not that it made them stop to fight each other with broomsticks or slide down the railing of the stairs. ofcourse when the principal saw them they had 2 choices: Stand still and let him yell at them or Run. So they chose the second option. 

" You fucking twink why did you run?! " Ben asked when they finally could catch their breath from running away. " Why did you fucking follow me? You could just stay! " Joe yelled in a whisper while he looked behind the wall to see if anyone was coming. " Because I would never leave you behind. " Ben responded quietly but hard enough for his friend to hear. Joe whipped his head towards Ben and he felt uncomfortable to be this silent for 1 minute. " That's- ehm gay. " Joe said snorting trying to lighten up the mood because ofcourse they gave each other compliments or they had good conversations but that's once in the 9000 years. Ben lightly pushed his friend laughing but Joe lost his balance and almost fell. He luckily could stand on one foot. " Joseph come here now! " A loud voice boomed through the hallway making them both flinch. Before joe knew Ben grabbed his hand and ran away fast.

It was different, holding his best friends hand because the last time Joe and Ben held hands was when they had to cross the road because they were too young to do it by themselves. Joe's legs were running but he was looking who was holding his hand but before he knew he snapped back to reality and ran with Ben since he wasn't in the mood to get yelled at. " Come out! I swear if I see you two I will- " The voice faded away not realizing the two boys were hiding inside an alley. " That was fucking close- You dumbass why did you have to lose your balance! " Ben yelled but not that hard since he knew it would be risky. " Dumbass?! If you didn't push me we didn't have to run a whole ass marathon AGAIN. " Joe responded mad looking at his friend. Something was off tho? They both felt something. When they looked down Ben was still holding Joe's hand tight but yet so caressing. At the speed of light they both let go putting their hands inside their pockets and looking away. " Anyways- " Ben began coughing still refusing to look at Joe. Which Joe was only happy with since he refused to look at Ben because he was sure his face would be red. " You want to go to Gwil's place? You know, annoying him? " Ben added looking down. " Yeah, sure. " Joe said already walking away still not really processing whatever just happened.

Gwil opened his door after he heard someone knocking like there was a fire. " WHAT? " He asked knowing who it already was. " Hello dad. " Ben said as he walked inside with Joe lingering behind him. " Can you please stop calling me that. " He begged putting his head on the door. " Ehm, no. " Ben said looking behind and giving a smile before he turned around and fell down on the couch next to Joe. " Dad do you have anything to eat? Kinda sad how you welcome your gasts. " Joe said putting his hand on his chest where his heart is as if he was hurt. " Can I atleast ask you why the fuck you two are here? " Gwil asked closing the door and walking grumply towards the two. " Because we are bored, now pour us some drinks. " Ben said putting his feet on the table infront of him. Gwil grabbed his feet and shoved it off the table. " Grab it by yours- " Gwil started and Joe already walked towards the kitchen. Gwil didn't really always pay attention to Joe only because he knew what kind of reckless child it could be so only for dangerous things he was up to but he niw did notice that beside Joe's remark in the beginning he was kinda acting off. " Hey, " Gwill started with his voice low so Joe couldn't hear it. " What's wrong with him? Did something happen between you two? " Gwil asked looking at the blonde next to him who was switching through channels. " I don't know. " Ben said as he shrugged but he kept looking at the tv. Gwil sensed there was something off but he decided to let it go. 

" Joe why the fuck are you taking so long for? " Ben yelled/asked after a while of his friend not coming back. He got no answer but after 1 minute Joe came back with some popcorn. " Sorry was doing your mum. " He says with his mouth full and Ben stuck his leg out making Joe almost trip. " Fuck you. " Joe said throwing some popcorn at Ben. Gwil was sitting between them and regretted it since the two ofcourse could never concentrate on one thing so at the end they were both being annoying little children.
