Leo convinced me that just randomly walking out of the woods was okay. Nobody would question it or get mad at you. Apparently he's done it enough times that people just learn not to care. Turns out he was right. We parted ways at our cabins to start getting things together.
I walked into the Hermes cabin and went to look out the window. Leo noticed me just before he opened the door to his own cabin. He gave me a wink and I rolled my eyes waving, a little wiggle of my fingers. I turned around to see that Kylie was still in bed sleeping. I heaved a sigh then walked over to our bunk, shaking her lightly.
"Kylie..." I said softly.
No response.
"Kylie." I said a bit louder.
Still nothing.
"KYLIE!"
Kylie suddenly jolted awake, falling sideways off of the top bunk. She landed with a thump on the ground. I let out a gasp.
"Sorry."
Kylie groaned, "Roowwwwann," she said drawing out the word.
"I'm sorry!"
"Don't you know not to wake a sleeping person?" Kylie asked standing up, rubbing her hip.
"I thought it was not to wake a sleep walker?"
"Oh whatever."
"Why were you still sleeping? Do you know what time it is?"
"Um like seven forty five?"
"It's ten thirty Kylie."
"Oops. Whatever. It's not like I had to do anything today."
"But you do have stuff to do today..."
"Huh?"
"Gods Kylie, we have to get stuff ready for the quest!"
"Well yeah but-"
"No buts!"
Kylie rolled her eyes, "I know I know. Where were you last night? You never came back, and you're still in yesterday's clothes."
"Umm," I said, not sure how to reply.
"You weren't with Leo were you?
My eyes flicked to the ground.
"DUDE! Oh my gods where were you two?"
"That's not important."
"You wern't- no you would't- but maybe-"
"EGH! GODS KYLIE NO!"
She laughed, "Okay okay, I won't push. Now let me get changed."
I laughed as she exited. I walked over to my trunk pulling out the largest bag that Lydia had brought me. I started throwing in a ton of different clothing, stuff to decorate my room with, the essentials. Kylie came back just as I zipped up my bag.
"Took you long enough," I said.
"Hey, I am a girl you know" Kylie joked, "I had to shower, get changed, do my hair. Gods Row I would think that you'd know this stuff!"
I laughed, "Well, while you were gone, I did all my packing."
"Good for you. What'd you pack?"
"Clothes, toiletries, that kind of stuff. Oh stuff for my room too."
"Room?"
"Yeah. Did I forget to tell you?"
"Tell me what!?"
