"So where are we off to first?" Leo asked as we walked down the street, no direction in mind. We had just finished lunch at a small Greek cafe. I learned that I really like gyro's, like a lot.
"Well," said Percy, who was holding the map, "The closest place to here is a Grecian history museum about five miles from here."
"That would make sense," I said.
"And what if it's not it?" Kylie chimed in.
"Then we keep searching," Percy said.
"Why don't we just take the object anyways?" Kylie suggested.
I glanced at her, "Because that's stealing."
"How is it stealing if it wasn't even theirs in the first place?" she questioned.
"She's got a point," said Percy.
I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."
"So are we walking? Or?" Leo asked.
"No," Kylie said, "My feet are dying. Let's hail a cab."
Everyone agreed eagerly. We had been walking all day. Percy called over a cab and we all piled in. After about a five minute, extremely boring and quiet ride, we arrived at the museum. Percy paid the driver and we approached the entrance. It reminded me a lot of the Parthenon in Athens, with Greek columns along the outside. It was relatively small, though I guess it made some sense. We weren't exactly in a major tourist city like Athens. Along the top read Μουσείο Ελληνικής Ιστορίας, though my "dyslexia" helped me to translate it into Greek Museum of History. Seemed fitting enough.
"Hello!" a younger brunette girl (most likely an intern) greeted us as we entered with a thick accent, "Welcome to the Greek Museum of History! Would you like a map of the museum?"
"Of course!" Leo said barging in front of us to take the pamphlet. I rolled my eyes.
The girl laughed and handed them a pamphlet, "Here you go!"
"Why thank you," Leo smirked.
The girl glanced at the rest of us, "You know, I can give you guys a tour if you'd like?"
"Ohhhh yes!' Leo exclaimed. The girl giggled slightly (and annoyingly if I may add).
It was Percy's time to roll his eyes, "No we're okay thank you."
"Oh come on! Why can't we-"
I flicked Leo hard in the arm before he could finish what he was saying.
"Ow!" he yelled.
I rolled my eyes and steered him away from the girl the others following behind me.
"What was that for!?" Leo protested, " I think she liked me!"
"Gods Leo you have a girlfriend!" I said,"That's me, in case you forgot."
Leo blushed, "Right."
I kissed him on the cheek, "Don't worry, I forgive you."
Kylie laughed, "Alright no PDA."
"C'mon we need to get going," said Percy, though for once I could actually hear a hint of laughter in his voice. I felt a smile creep upon my face, his laughter tugging at my heartstrings. With me around, I thought I would never hear that sound again.
"So where do we start?" I asked, "This place is full of ancient Greek artifacts."
"And that is why I grabbed a map!" Leo held up his map like a trophy and unfolded it, " Let's see...philosophy, architecture...Oh! There's a food court in here!"
