It had been almost a month since Jahsiah and Gekyume had stopped talking. The pair would avoid each other completely as Gekyume would hang out with Mykel while Joyri with Jahsiah.
The family had attempted to mend their relationships but Gekyume wouldn't budge.
Usually he was an incredibly forgiving and gentle person, learning from his dad's speeches of positivity and spreading love instead of hate towards one another.
However he didn't take disrespect towards his father lightly.
Around the ages of fourteen and fifteen, he'd get in a few fights with anyone who'd disrespect his dad or his memory.
Piper High School was the high school Jahseh attended, so they always had a soft spot for Gekyume there, ultimately calming down the small bit of rage he possessed.
He had all the finer things in life and never had to worry, but the simple fact that his dad was taken away from him still tore him apart.
