Messy without a Doubt

The end

Naruto smiled wide and bright his eyes shining with pure pride and glee. He did it, he graduated.

Naruto turned to Sasuke he was standing next to Obito and Kakashi. They created there own little family with small inside jokes and family dinners. Sasuke has never felt more loved and comfortable in a place. He loves it.

Naruto hugged his grandma and kissed her cheek, they would spend as much time together as they could before he was on his way starting a bigger story. A whole new him.

Tsunade wiped away the tears she couldn't be more proud, they've been through so much and have struggled and despite it they came out so strong.
Naruto he was still growing and changing he was learning to accept himself. He was coming to terms with the demons the plagued his mind.

He was dealing with the problems. Problems that felt like they wouldn't ever leave. Thoughts that confused him and consumed him. He's better now. So much stronger. So much wiser.

Now he can say he's stronger alone and can't wait to get stronger with himself.

Independently.

That was his big thing for a while. Struggle with the same thoughts as Sasuke at one point. Was this relationship even worth it?

They realize now it will always be worth it. They will realize later it was important

But Naruto wants to do so much on his own. College is where he's going to grow on his own his thoughts will be his alone, his opinions, his everything. He'll see Sasuke one day again, he'll see him as a different person who is much more confident.

Naruto walked over to Sasuke and hugged him tightly, there was no better feeling. But then the world would set in, the times would change. The people would change.

"Naruto, let's go somewhere" Sasuke smiled and grabbed Naruto's hand.

Naruto intertwined their fingers and let Sasuke lead them away. "I'm so happy" Naruto said his smile wasn't leaving any time soon. He couldn't stop.

Sasuke and Naruto walked into a empty hallway and they smiled at each other.
"Naruto, we graduated." Sasuke muttered hugging the small blonde.

"We did" Naruto whispered.

Sasuke sighed "Naruto. We're going to have this summer, but we can't last. Not longer then the summer." He closed his eyes and after a moment of not hearing anything he opened his eyes to look at the blonde. His heart felt like it had riped open. Naruto was smiling at him with tears falling down his face.

Naruto processed the information. He was right, Sasuke was always right. They were going to different colleges, they were going to meet new people, new friends have new relationships.

There are so many things they need to do, so many changes and challenges. Holding each other down that wouldn't be fair. They would be unhappy, they would be so scared one would cheat. Too many thoughts would be circling and they would probably end up hating each other.

"We'll have this summer" Naruto smiled, his heart was breaking. He was going to miss Sasuke so much. He couldn't imagine loving someone else.

"Let's meet up after college, no waiting for each other. But in the end, I know we'll end up together" Sasuke said, he brought Naruto closer. Their lips connecting a feeling of warmth and love. They would love each other always.

Naruto nodded his head, "Do you believe we will like each other after being apart for so long?" Naruto questioned.

Sasuke smiled "Of course. I'll never dislike you. It's not possible for me."

Naruto's eyes shined more tears threatening to fall. He was sure Sasuke was right, they've been through too much.

They will be happy in the end.

"I love you" Naruto kissed Sasuke.

"I love you too."
