Messy without a Doubt

Pizza?

Everyone sat in the seats at the table, the table was in the back and not many people were around. It was the perfect place for friends to just hang out and be themselves.

Naruto was pleased that Konohamaru seemed to be getting along with the two in his grade. Being around kids who think they are better than others is hard especially if you're not like that. If you hang around people like that long enough you start to really see the world and what it has to offer. The bad side.

Friends are important, you want them and you want them to like you. If you hang out long enough, you remember your old friends and in the future you see the life you had in high school is nothing compared to life outside high school. It's like you've been shield your whole life.

Once you leave high school and you meet real people, people from all over the world, people  who have been through things, hard things, they've been bullied by people, they've lost people. They know pain and they know some of what the world has to offer. The hurt and the laughter.

They are different from the people you grew up with.

No one deserves the pain the world brings, but we all eventfully feel it. The bullies in high school, they see there are people bigger and better. Maybe they regret it being a bully, maybe they won't.

People change when they want, people change when they need to and eventually everyone's true colors show.

Konohamaru smiled as he talked to Udon and Moegi they were so nice, Mogei's hair is orange and different. Udon and her laugh like no one else is around and Konohamru can't help but laugh with them.

Naruto smiled as if sipped on his drink and watched the three of them get along. A new friendship? Maybe hopefully. Naruto would love to see Kononhamaru smile like this ever day he wouldn't have to be angry and sad at his friends.

But now for the hard part, can Konohamaru really face the kids at school? Can he give up the popularity just for a couple of good friends?

Naruto turned his head into Sasukes arm and rested it there, "I don't feel good" Naruto muttered.

Sasuke looked down at Naruto and put his hand on his head, "You don't feel hot" Sasuke murmured into Narutos ear.

"I don't feel good. Sasukeeee.." Naruto whined. His face was flushed and his head was really starting to hurt, headaches are the worst. He snuggled closer into Sasuke and gripped his arm with his hands.

"Stop it Naruto! We're in public" Sakura snapped. Everyone at the table stopped what they were doing and turned their heads to Sakura. Naruto tensed and he slowly looked up. His head hurt and he didn't want to deal with this.

Naruto looked around the room, they were in the back and there were only a few people back there it looked like an old lady and her husband and they weren't paying attention. Naruto was sure, they probably couldn't even hear a thing.

"What?" Naruto asked his voice was soft it almost came out as a whisper. He should let it go, he should just let it go.

Sakuras face turned red, she didn't think she was homophobic, really she didn't. But she doesn't want to be around Naruto and Sasuke in public. It's embarrassing, them acting like that. Like a couple.

"Oh I get it" Naruto snapped he stood up and moved the chair back, "You're angry because I get to act like that towards Sasuke and you don't"

"Naruto I don't, Sakura didn't meant anything..really" Ino sputtered trying to get Naruto to sit back down.

Narutos head turned to Ino he glared, "She did. I know exactly what she meant she doesn't like me. Fine whatever she doesn't have to." Naruto turned his head to Sasuke and looked at him.

"Sasuke I know she's your friend. If you want to stay I wont be mad, but I can't stay here with her I tried." He turned to Kiba and shook his head, "she'll say something else she will and I don't want to be called a faggot again." Naruto stormed out of the pizza place and stood on the side of the building.

He held his hand over his hammering heart and put his fist in his mouth to keep the sobs down, tears fell from his eyes as he fumbled for his phone. He dropped it onto the concrete and cursed under his breath.

Naruto felt a hand on his shoulder and instantly stiffened he slowly turned his head expecting a punch in the face like the last time, instead Sasuke was there and Naruto collapsed into his arms.

"Are you okay? Lets go home" Sasuke guided Naruto up and they walked to the car together.

"Sasuke why do I ruin everything?" Naruto asked his face smashed into Sasukes side as they walked to the car.

"You don't ruin everything, you just think too much into stuff" Sasuke opened the door and watched Naruto get in, Naruto put his hands over his face and sat there. Sasuke shut the door.

"I ruined lunch, I ruined Konohamarus day. I ruined everything again" Naruto shifted in his seat and waited for Sasuke to start the car when he didn't Naruto looked up he was face to face with Sasuke.

Sasuke put both his hands on Narutos face and squished his cheeks together, Naruto laughed and tried to get Sasukes hands off his face. "You didn't ruin anything" Sasuke said he looked directly in Narutos eyes and softened his gaze  when Narutos face turned red.

Sasuke smashed his lips into Nartuos and eased his grip on Narutos face he kept his hands there and slowly caressed his cheeks.

Narutos eyes fluttered shut and he brought his hands up to Sasukes face and held his face. When they separated, Narutos eyes stayed closed for a moment he brought his fingertips to his lips and slowly opened his eyes.

"I can't express how much you mean to me" Sasuke whispered.

Naruto nodded his head in understanding he understood completely how much love he had for the boy in front of him.

"Lets go to that spot we like" Naruto smiled to himself as he looked out the window and Sasuke started the car.

"We can watch the stars" Naruto whispered.
