Silence, silence, silence. No one was talking Naruto didn't know what to say. How to put it into words that he was still upset about the past weeks.

Sasuke just had nothing on his mind.

"How are you Sasuke?" Naruto asked. They really haven't talked much mostly just sitting together and watching movies or making out.

Sasuke shrugged his shoulders and continued walking.

"Sasuke" Naruto snapped stopping his feet and staring into Sasukes eyes. He wanted something. Anything.

"I don't know what you want me to say. I'm fine I just don't want to talk." Sasuke spoke calmly too calmly. There wasn't even an ounce of emotion like it was practiced over and over again.

"I want to talk"

Sasuke sighed he moved away from the road and into the woods were he found a fallen tree and sat on it. Naruto followed him and sat next to him his face was red his hands were sweating he was angry.

"Why do you always want to talk? Why do you always get to decide when I'm ready to talk."

"I just want you to talk to me! We haven't seen each other in weeks and then you don't tell me when your mother dies!?"

Sasuke stayed silent his eyes held no emotion it was evident to Naruto that Sasuke was holding back his emotions for some reason.

"It just feels like you're pulling away and I keep reaching out try....trying to catch you but you just don't want to be brought back."

Naruto stayed silent as the words formed in his head he couldn't keep any of them though. Every word every sentence he couldn't grasp it. Nothing came out. They both remained silent. Who was going to speak first.

Naruto shook his head and crossed him arms he didn't know what to do he didn't know how to get Sasuke to talk. That's all he wants is answers.

"Maybe I should leave? You need time alone I think and I need time not alone. Understand?" Naruto asked his heart sinking with each word was this the end?

"Time not alone?" Sasuke asked. "What have you been doing since I stopped talking to you everyday?"

"Hanging out with Kiba and Sai really"

"Sai?" Sasuke muttered snapping his head to Naruto and glaring.

"We are not doing this again and I'm not fighting with you. I know what it's like to lose a parent. I think you need time to figure things out."

"I don't need any time to figure out that my mom is dead and my dad is in jail. I don't need any time to figure out that I have to go to college this year and figure out what I'm trying to do with life. I don't need time to figure out that eventually we're breaking up. I don't need time alone."

Sasuke stood up as he spoke his voice raised and his watery eyes, his face was red but the tears wouldn't fall the lump in his throat hurt and he had a pounding headache. Naruto stared at him his pale skin, he looked so tired. He didn't know if he should be mad or upset.

"We don't know what's going to happen between us..." Naruto began but quickly shut his mouth it was quite clear that Sasuke is going to break up with him before he moves to college. Even if Naruto didn't want to.

"I do know what's going to happen to us. I can't be the guy that's on your case all the time. I can't remember all these things and tell you to take your medication and to eat."

Naruto pursed his lips and bit his tongue something he does when angry or annoyed. He walked over to Sasuke and stood in front of him. "I don't know if you know this or not, but I do not need a babysitter."

"I'm not saying you need a babysitter" Sasuke mumbled shaking his head.

"I have depression. I am not incapable of doing this on my own. I don't want someone like that. You're not like that. With the mind set I have I can't have someone like that. I can't have someone who thinks I need their help all the time because I don't. We can have our own lives and still be together."

Sasuke said nothing as Naruto finished his sentence still he was unsure. Naruto needs someone who can be there for the bad and the worst for when he doesn't even want to get out of bed but Sasuke can't see him like that.

"I just don't want to see you in so much pain again. I can't see you in a hospital again. I don't know how to react when you do these things and I'm just worried about you. What are you going to do in college? Who are you going to have?" Sasuke asked his arms resting at his sides just begging to wrap around Naruto and to breathe in his scent.

Naruto smiled sadly he was worried about college. He was scared to meet new people, to meet new teachers, to go through everything but he's ready.

"Sasuke, you don't need to worry about me all the time. That's not what I want. I know even if you don't know how to help when I'm feeling down, you're still here. Helping people who go through times like that isn't something someone just knows how to do. You learn."

Sasuke nodded his head he stared at Naruto and knew he was thinking about something. He was going to say something and Sasuke knew exactly what it was going to be.

"Are you ever going to tell me what happened? Why you just stopped talking to me after we had sex."

Sasuke wiped his sweaty hands on his pant leg and nodded his head. "You're going to be mad and I understand. I don't know. You told me you were getting more medicine and I couldn't handle it. You're getting worse and I don't want to see you like that again."

Sasuke was making his point clear in his head but the words were coming out and even now he's still unsure if Naruto understood. His biggest fear was Naruto dying before him.

Naruto shook his head "why couldn't you just tell me? I need someone to tell me the truth. I need it. It's not something I want. It's a need please. I can't go about this relationship pretending we're not trying to reach out to each other. We need to reach out that's it. Please tell me when something I bothering you." Naruto begged. His heart was heavy he wanted to hug his boyfriend and just be with each other for the ever.

"If you want space I'll give it. Being in a relationship isn't about being up someone's ass all the times people need space." Naruto muttered as he looked at the twigs and leaves on the ground.

"I'm sorry" Sasuke said his face slightly pink, his head moved slightly still they could see each others faces.

"I'm sorry too" Naruto muttered he held out his arms and slowly fell into Sasuke enjoying the smell and the warmth that Sasuke gave. He missed touching him.
