Messy without a Doubt

Naruto stared at the wall he sighed loudly he turned his head to the left where his night stand was that held his new prescription. He hasn't heard from Sasuke all day which is fine he's probably doing something with Obito.

Naruto knew that college wasn't going to be easy it wasn't going to be something you just know how to work your way around. It would take time and in the matter of time he's thought about college he's developed nothing but absolute fear for it. He still has a long way to go before he gets there before he gets in before he visits it. So much to happen in such a short amount of time it was already almost the middle of the third quarter school was halfway over.

Anxiety. That's what has been keeping him up all night that's what makes his chest tighten his stomach hurt his eyes water. He needed help, he needed to talk to someone he needed the aching feeling to stop. He needed it. So he went to the doctors and now he's trying prescription after prescription.

What works? What doesn't? Why couldn't he just be normal? Do people live their life not having this sinking feeling? Do people live their lives not thinking about the worst possible outcome for no reason at all. There is no need for these thoughts, there never is.

Naruto reached out for his bottle for the tenth time since he's got them he's read the back of this bottle more times then he can remember. He never has any question about anything until he leaves the doctors office, why is that.

Naruto picked up the orange bottle with the white cap and stared at the tiny pills that were scattered in it all the same size all the same color all the same ingredients all the same. Makes you wonder what else is exactly the same, who decides when that one odd ball gets to come around and change everyone for the better. Who decides anything?

Narutos phone buzzed he ignored it too busy looking at the pills in the bottle, the pills that carry such an effect on people who suffer. Incredible. His phone buzzed again, and again, and again. Naruto put the bottle down and looked at his phone. Four texts from the group chat.

Kiba: Lets hang out. Now

Shikamaru: Who's house? My parents are home.

Kiba: Same Choji or Naruto!

Choji: My house is good.

Naruto smiled at his phone there would always be a spot for him with his friends there will always be that special connection between all of them that no one can explain. A world full of so many people, so many paths and so many stories and still he was lucky enough to meet these three people. Three people he truly connects with, three people who he will remember for so long. How did he get so lucky?

Naruto: Kiba pick me up!

Kiba: I knew you would ask! So needy i'm on my way

Naruto smiled at his phone he grabbed his charger and his Nike bag. Naruto ran downstairs he grabbed a pop tart and ran outside to wait on the deck for Kiba. Kiba pulled up in his dark green car messy as always.

Naruto put his bag in the back and moved the empty fast food bags and cups. "Your car is disgusting" Naruto said as he sat down and buckle himself in just into time for Kiba to turn out of the driveway quickly.

"Yeah, yeah you're like my mom. You want to clean it?" Kiba asked he rolled his eyes and turned the radio on.

"I bet I can get Choji and Shikamaru to help us clean it" Naruto said a smile on his face. It would give them something to do and Kibas car would be clean a win win.

"We'll see" Kiba laughed as he pulled onto the main road and turned the music up. Naruto smiled to himself and glanced down at his phone he's texted Sasuke twice but he's clearly ignoring him.

"Did you see Sasuke in school today?" Naruto asked. He knows Sasuke is purposely ignoring him they have their schedules memorized Sasuke could easily go the opposite direction as he has been.

"Not really. He wasn't at lunch are you two fighting?" Naruto sighed he looked out the window his eyes looking at the trees and the occasional cow.

"We're not fighting, I don't think we are" Naruto muttered his hand moving up and down as he talked. "He's ignoring me" Naruto grumbled staring at the third text that said delivered.

"I'll talk to him tomorrow" Naruto said he threw his phone on the back seat of Kibas car next to his bag.

"New song!" Kiba yelled grabbing his phone and quickly putting it on. Naruto hates when Kiba does that they always drifted off to the side and it made him really nervous. People can't multitask.

A loud beat came over the radio booming through the car Kiba messed with the buttons on the radio until the beat was pounding in the car rattling the mirrors and seats the bass was up all the way. Kiba nodded his head as he mouthed the words to the new rap song.

"This song is so good. Isn't it?" Kiba turned to Naruto and smiled widely making Naruto smile just as wide.

"Yeah it's good" Naruto said even though he really couldn't understand what they were saying. The beat of the music was too loud as well you couldn't hear the man rapping over the beat still it wasn't the worst song he's ever heard.

Kiba pulled into the driveway his windows rolled all the way down blasting music. Naruto was in the passenger seat laughing as Kiba yelled at the top of his lungs the words to the song by Katy Perry.

Naruto started signing just as loud as they pulled in to Chojis driveway. Shikamaru and Choji laughed as they came closer to the car listening to the music. Kiba turned it down and put the car in park.
"We're going to wash Kibas car!" Naruto cheered as he stepped out of the car and threw himself at Shikamaru giving him a hug.

"Alright lets clean out this car" Shikamaru said pushing Naruto off of him and watching him fall to the ground.

Naruto sat up laughing he turned his head to the house next door and saw Obitio walking his dog. Obito smiled and waved he motioned him over. Naruto smiled and waved back.

"What was that? Who is that?" Kiba asked Naruto.

"I smiled at him. That's Obito" Naruto said as he turned away from them and walked over to Obtio.

Naruto jumped at Obito hugging him tightly he pulled back and smiled "Hi!" Naruto shouted he leaned down and laughed as Obtio's dog licked his face.

"Hi Naruto. How are you? Those are your friends I see." Obito pointed over to Kiba and the others, they were wrestling each other on the ground.

"Yeah. Hows Sasuke?" Naruto quickly asked.

"He's doing his homework and then going out with some friends later" Obito smiled "I have to go now but I'll see you later"

Naruto smiled as best as he could and walked away as Obito did. Sasuke was hanging out with friends tonight, Sasuke was ignoring his calls.

Sasuke is clearly cheating.

Naruto shook his head Sasuke is allowed to have friends, Sasuke is allowed to ignore him. He's not cheating he's fine. They are fine. And right now was about him and his friends. Naruto would see Sasuke again tomorrow.
