Messy without a Doubt

Good Morning

Naruto woke up from the sound of his alarm clock he groaned loudly and rolled over, he fell off the bed and growled at his own stupidity. Naruto looked up from the ground, Sasuke wasn't in the bed.

Naruto got up and grabbed his phone he had a text from Sasuke saying he had to get changed so he left early. Naruto wasted no time he quickly rushed into the shower and brushed his teeth. He grabbed some blue jeans and his favorite orange shirt, Naruto didn't care what he wore he just needed to make it to the bus before he was late.

Naruto ran into the kitchen and was surprised to see his grandmother there at the table with a cup of coffee she was reading the paper.

"Uh, good morning" Naruto said with smile he walked up to the cupboard and opened it grabbing a pop tart and some chips.

Tsunade smiled at Naruto "Want me to bring you to school?" She offered, Naruto gladly accepted he hated taking the bus.

In the car Naruto stared out the window humming along to a song he got a great idea. "Ya know grandma, I am 18" he said looking at her. She turned her head and nodded.

"I know that"

Naruto sighed he felt like this could turn into a fight, "I want to get my permit and then license" Naruto blurted out there was no point in holding it in. He wants that sense of freedom that all the kids have, a car. How nice being able to drive where ever and whenever.

Tsunade turned to Naruto with a surprised look, "Get a job and we can talk" she said. Naruto was surprised she didn't sound angry at all. Naruto laughed out loud and whispered a little "yes."

"I can get a job!" he promised with a determined look, Tsunade chuckled and nodded she had no doubt Naruto would get a job.

Tsunade pulled into the school following behind other cars dropping their kids off, Naruto didn't wait for her to get to the doors the second Tsunade stopped Naruto ran out of the car yelling "Thank you!"

Naruto ran into the school excited and happy, his mood would surely change later on it just wasn't common for Naruto to have a complete good day. Naruto marched to his locker not giving a single person one glance they would just ruin his mood.

"Naruto! Hey" Naruto turned his head to the voice he knew the voice that was for sure, what he didn't know was why Sakura was talking to him.

"Uh- Hi, Sakura" he said smiling kindly, his mind flashed back to the other day. He couldn't get Sasuke and her out of his head and that was a problem, hes trying to get over it.

Sakura stood next to Naruto and turned around staring at the halls filled with children. Naruto stared at her back, confused. "Can I help you?" he asked he didn't want to come off as rude but she was just standing next to him not even talking.

She turned around her hair flowing in the air as she turned, "Oh I'm just waiting for Sasuke" she added before turning around looking for the black haired boy.

Naruto glared at her back, "Sasuke is probably in the lunch room" he muttered shutting his locker. Sakura turned around and smiled she started her way to the cafeteria with a small wave.

Narutos mood instantly fell, now he doesn't even want to start looking for a job, now he just wants to sit home and do nothing all day. He was going to put himself in a rut again and that's the last thing he needs.

Naruto decided to go into the lunch room, he wanted to see Sasuke and his other friends. Sakura literally did nothing and for some reason he is annoyed with her, he just doesn't like her. At all, he can't shake the feeling that she's going to do something bad.

He has these gut feelings sometimes and usually he listens to them and they're right. He might just be able to tell the future. Probably not since he doesn't believe in that stuff.

Naruto walked into the cafeteria with a small smile on his face, he never walks around with a frown unless something happened and well he was trying to ignore the conversation with Sakura.

"Naruto!" Naruto quickly turned his head and smiled widely, he was happy to see Sai. He never sees him in school anymore its weird.

"Sai!" Naruto hugged the boy and walked with him to an empty table. "Whats up?" he asked.

"My mom wants to see you again, when you left she wanted me to go to your house and drag you back. She's crazy" Sai said looking around the cafeteria.

Naruto laughed, "I love your mom, when should I come over?" he was eager to see Sais mom again she makes the best food. Tsunade might want to meet her again maybe they can invite Sais family over for a dinner or something. He could invite Sasuke too!

Sai shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know I'll ask her tonight." Sai craned his neck around and slightly stood up.

Naruto looked at him with amused eyes, "Who are you looking for?" Naruto asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Sais face turned red and he shook his head mumbling words Naruto didn't listen to. "You like someone! Who?" Naruto asked moving towards Sai.

Sais head snapped to Naruto he looked at him with wide eyes, "Keep quiet" Sai hissed scared this person was close by.

Naruto huffed and crossed his arms, "Why can't you ju-" Naruto stared at Sai with wide eyes as he shut Narutos mouth his hand. Naruto licked Sais hand and glared at him.

"Gross" Sai muttered rubbing his hand on his pants, Sai stood up and smiled at the new guest that appeared behind Naruto.

Naruto lifted his head up and stared at the boy that Sai undoubtedly has a crush on, Naruto stood up and held out his hand, "Sup, Suigetsu" Naruto smiled at the white haired boy.

"Hey Naruto, wheres Sasuke?" Suigetsu asked. Naruto couldn't tell if he was actually curious or if he just wanted Naruto to leave.

"I should go meet up with him actually, I'll see you around" Naruto turned around to Sai and leaned into him really quick, "Text me" Naruto whispered into Sais ear. He was going to make fun of Sai nonstop he likes Suigetsu? Suigetsu is nice and everything but how did they even start talking?

He needed to know.

Naruto laughed when Sais face turned redder. Naruto was thrilled that Sai was over him, an actual friendship with his old best friend will be good for him. This is his last year he doesn't want to leave without sorting out all his problems.

Sai? Check, next up. Neji.

Naruto made his way over to his table and frowned when Sakura was in his seat talking Sasukes ear off. "Hey!" Naruto smiled throwing his arm around Kibas shoulder.

"Whats up man, where have you been?" Kiba asked throwing Narutos arm if him and handing him a blueberry pop tart. Naruto smirked and put it in his bag, he loves pop tarts.

"I was talking to Sai" Naruto said sitting in a open seat next to Kiba, he looked around "Where is Shikamaru?"

"He's home sick" Kiba rolled his eyes, Naruto laughed Shikamaru doesn't get sick, he gets lazy.

"Why were you talking to Sai?" Sasuke asked with interest, Sakura frowned slightly but put her smile back on her face quickly.

Naruto stared at Sasuke, Sasukes hair was always the same but every time he sees it he just wants to run his fingers through it. He has always liked Sasukes hair and every time they are together Sasuke always gets annoyed because that's all Naruto does. Touch his hair.

Sasuke waved his hand in front of the blonde a small blush appeared on Sasukes face when Naruto stared at him for so long. Naruto snapped out his small daydream and smiled at Sasuke, "Sai and I are on the road to recovery" Naruto stated with a grin.

Sasuke looked at him a skeptical but none the less nodded his head, he trusted Naruto. Naruto would never cheat.
