Chapter 48 Haley’s POV

“Shit shit shit shit shit.  What the hell did I just do?  I am dead.  So dead.” I paced back and forth in my room.

“Hal, are you okay?” Emily asked.

I shoved my phone in her face.

“Oh.”

“What did you do?” Sarah asked.

“I’m stupid.”

“HaleyBoo stop saying that.” Sarah reprimanded.

“Stop calling me HaleyBoo.”

“Just tell me.”

Emily gave her my phone.

I jumped on my bed and shoved my head in my pillow.  I let out a scream.

“It’s okay.  Just explain it was a mishap.”

“Sar, what kind of person sends that to someone by accident?” I said. “Guppie is going to kill me.”

“Gup doesn’t have to know.”

“Like Chris is not going to tell her.”

“Knock Knock.” Daisy said opening the door.

I yelled again.

“Is she okay?” Daisy asked.

“She’s just feeling a little out of it.” Sarah said.

“Why?”

“She ate something bad at dinner.” Emily lied.

“Don’t get sick.”

“Thanks Pancake.” I said with very little effort.

“Nick it’s going to be okay.”

“Did you not see it?”

“Just explain to him HaleyBell!”

“What am I suppose to say? ‘Sorry I sent you a text message that said ‘I’d love to see you in the dark winky face’ it was meant for someone else.’?”

“Well it was.”

“Whoa.  Back it up.  Who did you send that to?” Daisy asked sitting on my bed.

“Chris.” I whispered.

“Why?  You don’t like him do you?”

“No I don’t like him.  I was going to sent it to Guppie cause of the song.  I sent it to Chris by mistake.”

“Wow.”

“I’m going to die.  Guppie is going to kill me.  I want you all at my funeral.”

“Hal, shut up and stop talking about death.”

“But Sar, I’m not going to make it to tomorrow.” I flipped over. “At least I’ll die here and not in some random city.”

“She could wait to kill you.” Daisy suggested.

“Not helping!” Emily, Sarah and I all yelled.

“Sorry.” Daisy said raising her hands.

“Hey girls.” Autumn said walking into my room.

“Hey.” I replied.

This is it.  This is my end.

She sat down on my chair and turned on the TV.

“Daisy what yo child be called?” I asked, trying to end the scilence.

“Ummmmmmmm.  I don’t know.”

“Brent Jr.” Sarah said.

“NO NO NO NOT BRENT JR.  But while I’m preggo imma call it baby pancake.”

Sarah laughed.

“Wouldn’t it be Mini-Pancake than.  Like the Aunt Jemima ones.”

“Wow Gup.” Sarah said, smiling even more.

“I know.  I’m awesome.”

“Gloat all you want, but I still won’t believe it.” I said.

“That’s it.” She came over to me, grabbed the pillow from under my head, and started to hit me with it.

“Guppie!  Stop! Have mercy!” I shrieked.

“Nope.”

“Please.” I begged.

“Nah-uh.”

She started hitting me harder.

“Pul-lease.”

“No way dude.”

I kept laughing.  “This isn’t fair.  I’ve never did anything to you!”

“Yes you have.”

Why is she waiting?  Maybe she doesn’t want the others here. Maybe-

“You made up songs about Chris and I.  Actually I’m surprised you didn’t send any text about how Chris and I left you tonight.”

I sighed.  She didn’t know.  Maybe Chris didn’t open the text yet.  If so I still have time.

“You’re acting like you did something worth me punishing you.”

“You cough me.”

She raised her eyebrow.

“I am planning something.”

“And that would be?”

“Nothing that concerns you.” I said, quickly mumbling, “As of now.”

“What?”

“Nothing.” I laughed.
