Chapter 54 Sarah’s POV

“Can we just get threw one day without drama?” I asked.

“No that would be no fun.” Autumn said.

I traced my henna that was fading.  I frowned a little.  I wanted it to last longer, even if I didn’t remember getting it.

“Hey shortie.” Dan said.

“You’re not that much taller than me.” I said.

“But I’m still taller.”

“I’m funsized.”

“That you are.” He poked my stomach.

“What was that for?” I asked.

“Just felt like it.” He shrugged.

“Oh okay.”

Danny put his arms around me.

I started to run my hand over Zazzles.

There was a low, unfitting noise.

“What was that?” I asked.

“It was nothing.” Mike said.

I push the thought aside, figuring he was right.

The noises happened again.

“Are you sure?” I asked.

“Yeah, the van is just getting a little old.  Still has lots of time left.”

There was a loud band.

“Are you really sure?”

“Umm, no.”

“Well that’s just great.”

“I’m just going to keep driving and stop at a mechanic when we get to one.”

“Mike, we are in the middle of nowhere.  There are no mechanics.” Danny said.

The van slowly stopped.

“Mike, why did you stop driving?” I asked.

“I didn’t.”

“Then why did we stop?”

“I don’t know.  I’m going to go check.”

Mike got out.

“What happens if the van broke?”

“We are stuck here.” Danny said.

“Can’t we just ask one of the other bands if we could ride with them?” I asked.

I don’t want to be stuck, especially here.  It didn’t look like a nice neighborhood.

“I was kidding.  We would ask someone for a ride.”

“Don’t kid like that!  That’s not nice.”

“I’m sorry Sarah.”

“No.”

“Yes I am.”

“I forgive you.” I said.

“Good, because I don’t want you to be mad at me.”  He kissed my cheek.

“I could never be mad at you.”

“Looks like we are going to be here for a while.” Mike said.

“WHAT?!” Autumn yelled.

“What happened?” Chris asked.

“We have been using the van a lot and there might just have been over heated.”

“I can’t believe this!  We are stuck!  What are we going to do?!”  Sierra complained.

“Drama Queen.” I said.

“Whatever.”

“I’m going to go crazy.” Megann complained.

“Gu-guys.  There is a really big bug.” I stumbled out.

“What where?!” Autumn started freaking out.

“Right there.” I pointed to her soldier.

“Ahhh!  GET IT OFF!  GET IT OFF!”

‘I don’t see-“ I elbowed Cameron in the stomach.

‘Play along.’ I mouthed.

“What is that thing?” he asked.

“I don’t know but I don’t want to find out.”

“REALLY GET IT OFF!”

“Autumn what happened?” Chris asked.

“Bug!”

“Where?”

“It was on my soldier!”

“There is nothing there.  Are you sure there was a bug?”

“Yes.  No.  I hate you guys.”

“I love you Gup.” I said.

“Sure SarBear.  Thanks for the heart attach.”

“You are welcome.”

She rolled her eyes.

“Did anyone find a spot for us to go yet?” Megann asked.

We all looked at each other.

“I’m not calling!” I yelled.
