Walking through school, felt no different, same people, same attitudes, except for this doll of sunshine. He was walking down the hall, head down like always, everyone knew about him, quiet, doesn't like to be touched. Freshmen year he screamed at someone for touching him, never again did anyone go near him. He felt in better spirits, until he ran into someone, falling back with an oof and hitting his butt against the floor. He looked down, trying to keep himself in control before looking up.

He swallowed hard, as eyes locked into dark ones. Dark new ones that held this deafening feeling in his ears. His eyes couldn't catch off the boy as he stood, tall, stepping to him, his heart rate increasing as they reached out a hand to help him up. His smirk never leaving, his eyes soft and welcoming as Josh felt like he was floating as he began standing up. The floating feeling going against him as he was unstable on his feet and fell into the boys chest. His cheeks instantly going warm as his hands were on his chest, feeling him, what he's hiding underneath the band t-shirt he could definitely see they had in common. He actually had that exact shirt at home.

He swallowed heavily when the boys finger was on his chin and closing his mouth. His eyes shutting between one glowing orb to the other. "You're gonna end up catching flies, dear," he spoke up, his voice making Josh's breath to pick up. He instantly stepped away from them, feeling like he could feel eyes on him, but he didn't know where. Another hand extended, "I'm Brendon, by the way. Just started yesterday. But today is my actual first day, I was bombarded with question after question and rules and stuff."

He then chuckled, his laugh so honey it made Josh chuckle too, his cheeks still blazing the ruby red. He looked down and curled his fingers around nothing. "Hey, if it's not too much, could you walk me to science?" Josh nodded, turning on his heels and Brendon chuckling before following behind him. "I never got your name by the way?"

"Josh."

"Can I call you joshua?" He smiled, Josh looking up at him with a straight face. "What? You can't say it'll fit you better. You seem soft and adorable, Joshua fits so perfectly, such a pretty name, for a pretty boy."

Josh grinded his teeth together. He's always been annoying to new people. And the only ones that call Josh adorable is his small friend group and Tyler. That's it. He looks up at Brendon, the boys sharp jawline and dark clothes contrasting his pale complexion. Thick lips, so pink and plush looking, his walk so smooth, confident, eyes sparkling like his story still hasn't reached the conflict. Josh looked forward. They were almost to the classrooms, then he's gonna have to run across the whole school to get to Tyler's class fast. "Here ya go," Josh spoke up quietly.

Brendon nodded, "Thanks for the walk. Is it okay if I sit with you at lunch, haven't been able to make friends much?" Brendon asked, Josh nodded slowly, really it depends if Tyler is keeping him during lunch.

"Yeah, I'll show you some other friends of mine. Bye," he turned and walked away. His steps picking up before he was running down the halls. The bell rung and Josh sniffled. He's never late to Tylers class, he was out of breath by the time he reached the knob, opening the door, head down as he made his way through the quiet classroom to his seat. It went on like that, Tyler looking at him with a raised eyebrow before continuing on with the lecture.

"So why were you late?" Tyler asked as he stabbed into the hard lettuce of his food, stuffing his mouth and looking at Josh who nibbled at a poptart. He looked up at his teacher and back down.

"Ran into a guy in the hallways. He says he was new and needed help looking for a classroom."

"Did he touch you?"
