I tried to play it cool. Ngiti ngiti lang. I tried my best to wore the biggest and warmest smile during the first days, weeks and months. Nothing was heard from me since her last blog.
Four months.
I am enduring this pain for four freaking months and its starting to take its toll on my heart!
Today, I am finally free from my contract and I am finally taking my much needed time out.
As soon as I set foot in our humble home in Laguna, I started packing my things. Kasabay ng pangungulit ng mga kapatid ko habang nag eempake.
" Kuya! saan ka ba pupunta?" - Rizza whined.
I told her, she will be in-charge sa lahat ng business kasama si Dad while Im away.
" Secret nga! pag sinabi ko sayo, hindi na secret!"
" Kuya! ano ka ba? okay kana di ba? masaya na sya. Masaya ka naman. Dito ka nalang."
Natigilan ako saglit pero hindi nalang umimik.
" Kapatid kita, parang tatay na nga din kita eh. Kaya alam kong kahit sabihin mong okay ka. Alam kong hindi. Its been four months Kuya. Baka nga bukas makalawa, ikakasal na yon eh. Move on move on din."
" Riz, sige na. Promise okay ako. I just need this."
" Edi sige kung ayaw mo papigil, can you just, atleast ask someone to be with you? Kahit sino pa yan."
I was just about to answer when Daddy came in.
" Rj, Andyan na yung kotse sa labas. "
" Anong kotse?"
" Na walang plate number sa labas. Rizza anak, sige na iwan mo muna ang kuya. "
" Walang plate number?????"
" Rizza Mae. "
Rizza storm out of the my room.
" Rj."
" Dad "
" Kapag okay kana, babalik ka ah?"
" Daddy naman, I only have 3 months to think if tatanggapin ko yung offer ng APT, so susulitin ko muna.. "
So, here I am, wearing eye glasses, a ball cup and a jacket. Huminto ako sa isang nadaanan kong convinience store. I bought a beer in can, drinking while reading random DM on my IG account. I received countless of messages from fans after announcing my 3 months hiatus. I was looking for that specific sender who kept on sending me messages every morning and night for the past 4 months. Telling me about how her day went and how she will be spending it. She, yes kasi tinignan ko na ang timeline nya. Well, she's an AlDub fan. Maybe one of those who wouldnt thought that what happened will happen. I was just about to close the app when that fan, message me.
' Hi paps! so ayun, nag resign nako! sabi ko sayo hindi ko na kaya eh! Tekaaaa! Hiatus ka daw? san ka? san ka punta? isama mo kooooooo!'
Apaka kulit! pero yung kulit na minsan matatawa ka! Lalo na nung binasa ko yung mga chat nya at nakita nyang na-seen ko na. Buong araw yata syang nangulit! Kahit hindi ko sya replayan.
