I just got out of the shower with Yyo when Rj called. This little guy just love the water! At manang mana sa Tatay nyang napaka pilyo din! He just turn 4 last month.
" Hi, Babe! What's up?"
" Baby! I miss you!"
" Aysus, and panganay ko. Kumain ka na ba? What time are you going home? 9pm na."
" Before midnight pa. Hay, I miss you, ewan ko ba."
" I can see you pouting, Rj."
"Daddy! awte?"
" Ano daw?"
" Arte mo daw! hahahah"
" Abaaaaaa!"
I giggled and requested to switch for facetime so I can dress up Yyo.
" Daddy to! Hi!"
" Hi, anak! "
" I ligo with Mommy. Em play bubbles!"
" Nag play ka ng bubbles? "
" Yes! and sim ako sa tub!"
" Wow, that was fun! Wag mong pinapagod ang Mommy, anak. Tyaka, 9pm na bat kakaligo nyo lang?"
" Nagsuka si Yyo habang karga ko eh. Meji matigas ang tummy nga nya oh. "
" Ha?! Anong nangyare?"
" Ayun nga after dinner, nagsuka what I got him sa high chair nya. Hindi naman daw masakit yung tummy nya eh. Pero mejo mainit yung skin nya, kaya pinaliguan ko para mahimasmasan and pinainom ko na agad ng gamot sa lagnat."
" Wawa naman ang baby namin."
" Yyo not kawawa."
" You're sick eh."
" No man."
" Babe, patulugin ko lang si Yyo. Text me ,okay? And wag ng mag drive, may driver naman. "
" Opo. Magpahinga ka na din, Baby. Sandali nalang ito."
It was 1am when I woke up and Yyo is burning with fever! His skin is so hot to touch and he's shievering.
I woke up Yaya Bing on the other room to help me. Nasa condo kami at mamayang umaga palang uuwi ng Laguna.
I was calling Rj but he's not picking up!
" Yaya, ako na dyan. Paki-prepare nalang ng fever meds ni Yyo and water sa bottle nya."
" Sige po."
I gave Yyo sponge bath and change him clothes. I already called to his pedia and ask what to do.
He woke up and throw up everything he ate during dinner and his milk before bed time.
" Mommy.. ouwiee.. 😭"
" Shhhh, what's ouwie, Baby?"
He keeps on saying 'ouwie' what I change his clothes and Yaya Bing change the bedsheets. When everything was cleaned up, Yyo wiggled from my arms, asking to be put down. And when I did, he run to the bathroom and throw up on the floor.
" Yaya, try mo nga tawagan si Rj. Dadalhin ko na sa emergency si Yyo."
Yyo vomitted 3 more times before we made it to the emergency. I was so worried already dahil nanlalambot na sya.
" We'll put him on IV para hindi ma-dehydrate while waiting for the results. Parang nothing so serious naman so dont worry. Your baby will be fine."
" Thanks Doc."
Yyo cried while they put the IV on his little hand. Pareho na kaming umiiyak when they are done with him. I book a room for him so we can settle. At times like this, may nakikita padin akong kumukuha ng pictures samin discreetly.
It was 3am when Yyo finally fell asleep on my chest. Tired of throwing up and the lab tests.
That's when Rj came rushing too.
" Baby!"
" Shhh! Wag kang maingay!"
I silently scold him.
" Sorry. Anong nangyari?"
" I dont know okay?! Were still waiting for the lab results! Saan ka ba galing? Ive been calling you for hours! Sabi mo before midnight makakauwi ka?!"
I didnt know I was crying while scolding him. All my worries coming out of my chest.
" Baby. Wag kanang umiyak. Relax."
" How, Rj??! I was so scared! Hindi ko alam ang gagawin!"
I cried and hug Yyo. Rj sat beside us on the bed and hug us too. Kissing Yyo and me.
" Shhh.. tahan na muna."
" Hindi pa kita matawagan. Paano kung may nangyaring masama kay Yyo? Sisisihin mo ko kasi ako ang kasama--"
" Baby, hindi ganon. Alam ko naman that kids are unpredictable. Nangyari na din ito two years ago right? And you had seen me panic more than you do now. Pero sabi ng doctor, things like this happen at wag magpapanic agad. At bakit naman kita sisisihin? You have been nothing but a good mother to my son.--"
" Our son."
" Our son. Alam ko kung gano mo yan kamahal."
" So, san ka nga galing?"
" Ahm.."
" Dont tell me niyaya ka nilang lumabas at sumama ka naman? I already told you kagabe na may sinat si Yyo."
" Eh kasi si Direk--"
" Lumayo ka samin,Richard! Nanggigigil ako sayo baka hindi kita matancha!!"
He apologetically smile and hug us more.
" Sorry na, Mommy! Hindi ko naman alam eh. Sorry sorry sorry"
Umaga na when Yyo's lab results where discuss to us. All are normal and well. Lagnat laki lang.
" Hay, Baby. You made Mommy worry."
" Wabyu, Mommy!😘"
" And I love you too.."
" Wab kita wamlang kampamtay Mommy ko!"
" Aysus, apaka lambing talaga ng baby ko.. Kaya hindi kita ipagpapalit sa Daddy mo eh."
" Hindi naman ako kokontra dyan."
" Hmp! Lets go to Bulacan, Yyo? You miss Lola Mary and Lolo Teddy?"
" Yeah! Kuya mawti and awria?"
" You miss them too?"
" Uhm!"
" Sige, we'll go there so you can play with them."
" But I thought you want to go to the beach?"
Both Yyo and I stop and look at Rj. Beach..
" Beach?"
" owiii! the sawnd, the swea and the sun! Mommy sim tayo bish?"
" Yes! next time nalang tayo go home sa Bulacan!"
" Yey!! lesgo to bis!"
" Basta Beach no? Kayong dalawa talaga.."
