Maine got the chance to talk and congratulate Nia while everyone dance and party at the beach area.
Mag-isa itong nakaupo sa gazebo at tinatanaw ang mga bisita sa beach.
" Congratulations!"
" ☺️"
" Okay kalang? You look pale.."
" Pagod lang. Thank you."
" Nia.."
" Thank you for making Rj happy."
" I should be the one saying that to you."

" Thank you for lending Rj to me. You made me happy because of that."
" He's not mine to begin with ano ka ba?"
" He's yours Maine, his heart always belongs to you."

" Last night he didnt sleep much. He's been confuse since you got back from the Island yesterday."
" He loves you, wag mong pagdudahan yon."
" He loves me yes, but he loves you deeper."

" And I know I am asking too much. You hsve your own life, you get to choose who you will love in the future, who you choose to be with and who you will marry. But, can you consider loving Rj? This is me being selfish, can you choose Rj over anyone else, Maine? Can you take care of our Rj and Yyo?"
" Ano bang sinasabi mo? Asawa mo si Rj!"
" But Im leaving him soon, Maine. "
Maine was about to asnwer when Nia started breathing heavily, clutching her chest.
" Nia! what's happening? Rjjjjjjj!"

- Maine -
I sat beside Rj as we wait outside the ICU. He's restless and no one can calm him down. Not even his family. But somehow I manage.
" Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko kapag nawala sya.."
" Rj, hindi sya mawawala."
" Hindi nga ba? Ganun naman talaga ang buhay ko eh. Magiging sobrang masaya tapos babawiin."
" Rj.."
" Hindi ko alam kung sobrang samang tao ko ba sa past life ko kaya ganito eh. Hindi ba ko pwedeng maging masaya?"
His tears breaming again, niyakap ko nalang sya at hinayaan umiyak.
It was almost midnight when Coleen ask that we go home. Ayaw kong iwan si Rj pero ayoko ding nakikita syang nasasaktan ng ganito.
Halos 2am na ng makarating kami sa condo. Kahit sobrang pagod ko, hindi padin ako nakatulog agad-agad. But when I did, my fone rang.
" hello? Rj?"
" She's gone.."
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon.
" What-- what gone?!"
" Wala na sya, iniwan nako ni Nia."
I drove as fast as I could, safely.
Mag-uumaga na talaga ng makarating sya. Nia's family are inside the ICU while the Faulkersons waited for their turn.
Rj is silently sitting in the corner. He looks so lost, is pain evident.
When it was his turn, I saw how he struggled to keep it together. And through the glass window of the ICU, we all saw how he scream and cried over his wife. How he tried to wake her up, his please and his pain.
