Kakatapos lang ng Bulaga at may konting salo-salong hinanda para kay Rj. Masaya ang lahat. Masaya kaming lahat na makita sya ulit pagkatapos ng bakasyon nya.
I can see that he is happy, he's smillung and laughing with everyone. Exchanging jokes and banters just like before. But his eyes, his sad eyes remind me of that day he looked at me one last time before he go on hiatus. They mirror the same sadness but different emotion. His frequent spacing out giving him away that there is something wrong. I wonder why he always check his fone and let out a deep sigh everytime he did.
" Uy! kamusta?"
Nilapitan ko sya at tinabihan sa sofa habang kanya kanya ng usapan ang lahat.
" Oy, Maine. Okay lang. Mejo naninibago, tagal ko din kasi ang time out. Ikaw kamusta?"
" Im okay."
" I heard what happened pala. Im sorry to hear that."
" Okay lang. I know that is the result of me being impulsive."
" Oh, wag na ikaw malungkot. Di ba sabi ko sayo dapat masaya ka? Ayokong nalulungkot ka ng ganyan."
I heard how worry he is for me and I am thankful that after all that happened, his care for me stood still. I look at him in the eye and saw how hr worriey looked at me.
" Im sorry, Rj.."
" Wag kang mag sorry, wala kang ginawa.."
" Pero ini--"
His fone rang and I saw how his eyes suddenly lights up when he saw the caller. He turned to me with a big smile on his face. And my heart sunk at the happiness his eyes are mirroring at the moment. Because I knew well that smile. He used to looked and smile at me like that.
" Sorry, excsuse lang ah.. I need to take this call."
Tumango ako at hinayaan syang lumabas, pero narinig ko na may sinabi syang pangalan.
" Hello, Nia?"
