I wonder what's on Nia's mind.
If i were the one on her shoes, its not that easy to forgive on cheating. I mean, you get me right?
It was the last day of our movie shoot and Rj looks agitated.
" Uy, anyare?"
" Huh?"
" You look distracted."
" I am.."
" Care to share?"
" Si Nia kasi."
" What happen?"
He breathe deeply and sigh.
" She's sick Meng, and Im afraid Im loosing her."
" What do you mean?"
" May heart condition sya eh. She needs to stop her medication kasi buntis. Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko."
"...."
" Yung hindi nya pag-inom ng gamot, nagsisimula ng lumabas ung resulta. Madaling mapagod, she cant stay long outside lalo pag mainit, she cant breathe. Normal yon given her condition, pero as she do her best to keep our baby health, its taking a tool on her health too. Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko."
" You want me to talk to her?"
" We already talk to her, our families and her closest friends. "
" And?"
" Sabi nya we shouldnt be worrying of something na hindi pa naman nangyayare. Alam mo ung frustrations ko na hindi ko mailabas? Yung araw araw magigising ka na nag-aalala kasi baka huling araw mo ng makikita yung ngiti nya."
" Rj, always try to see the good in everything."
" Yeah, lagi nyang sinasabi sakin yan."
" Yun naman pala eh."
" Im scared to loose her Meng. Ang dami ko pang gustong ibigay sa kanya. Lahat ng pangarap nya. I want to give her the world but Im running out of time."
" You wont run out of time Rj, you have a lifetime with her."
Rj look at me and I saw the pain and hopelessness in his eyes.
" I am praying for a lifetime with her but I think he already wish a different story for me."
I cup his face and smiled.
" Alden Richard, sobrang lakas mo kay Lord. Im sure whatever your heart prays, he will give it to you."
He held my hands on his face and smiled.
" Thank you. I really need someone to talk."
" We're always here for each other, remember?"
" Oo naman."
" Now smile. We need to wrap this up, Nia's waiting for you."
" Wait, I have something in mind, uhm, can you help me?"
" Sure.."
" I want to marry Nia."
" But your married already, right?"
" I want to give her, her dream wedding."
" Ugh, maybe you can start by proposing?"

One week after that talk, Rj and I are able to put up a surprise proposal for Nia. With the help of some of their friends and family.
" Girl, dapat talaga magpaka martyr?"
