chapter 30

Demi's POV

I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings, I was in an unfamiliar room, I looked more closely and realised this was Gemma's bedroom. I looked to the clock on the wall at it showed the time 5:17pm. why is it so late? then I remembered what happened, it was the best time of my life. it was everything I dreamed it would be. gemma was perfect, nothing could change that.

I attempted to sit up but something kept me down, I looked to my left and saw gemma lying half on top of me with her legs tangled with mine, she had her left arm wrapped around me tightly and her head was on my shoulder looking up at me. she is so beautiful its just unimaginable, how would someone like her want someone like me I just don't get it.

I push all the negative thoughts out of my mind and turn on my side so I'm facing her, she automatically pulls me closer with the arm that's wrapped around me. I put my hand on her soft cheek and smooth it gently, I lay there for ten minutes just admiring her. her perfect untouched eyebrows are just flawless, people always ask if she plucks, waxes or colours them but she don't, her long eyelashes that surround her eyelids are also perfect, now that I've seen him I can tell she gets that from her uncle David. they are the same in so many ways. her cute freckles than go all the way over her nose and across her cheeks, she always tries to hide them with make-up but I think they're adorable. then I get to her perfect pink lips, I love the way she smiles in her sleep, its like you can see she's happy even in her sleep. overall she is just adorable.

I lean my head forward so our noses is slightly touching, I smile and press our lips together softly, I hold our kiss their for a few seconds, then I feel her kiss back gently. we stay there for 10 seconds until we both pull apart. she opens her eyes and I see those perfect green orbs that make me smile more. she smiles back at me and blinks a few times.

G - *sigh* good morning, she said, I just had to start giggling, she looks at me confused, ...what?

D - its like quarter to six gemma, in the night its not exactly morning. Gemma's cheeks turn bright red.

G - oh right haha, she joins me with my giggle fest. I love you, I smiled.

D - I love you too, I said and kissed her.

the rest of the night we lied there and watched movies, gemma mentioned wanting to be in a movie soon which I think is a great idea. she is such a good actress, she's never been in a big movie but I've seen her acting and its amazing. I want to help her, to see her rise to the top and I'm positive she can get there.

I love her so much!

* 2 weeks later *

Gemma's POV

today is Demi's BIRTHDAY!!!! I am so excited! but last week I realised we have a show tonight, I felt really bad, like REALLY bad! I never brought it up to demi though, I actually have some surprises for her, and no I ain't telling you, its not a surprise then now is it. all you can know is that it took a lot of effort.

not once have I even mentioned anything about Demi's birthday to her, I think she thinks I forgot, but come on, who can forget demi lovato's birthday!? speak of the devil here she is now...

D - hey babe! she said as she got onto the tour bus.

G - hey baby! I walk up to her and kiss her.
