Part 30

This story is coming to an end, I hope you guys can accept that but I hate long chapters and delayed update as much as you guys do.

Alec stopped seizing a minute after Mary left and he was lying on the floor to his left side, Magnus on his front stroking his arm with Magdelene on his head stroking his sweating hair away from his forehead. "Let's carry him to the bed." Magdelene said to her son and she heard few sniffle from him before he carried Alec on one arm and she carried on the other. Alec was weak and limped when Magnus carried him to the bed and soon as he helped him on the bed, he pulled the blanket to his chest, Magdelene disappear from the sight and came back shortly after with a bowl of water and small towel on her arm.

She sat beside him on the bed side while Magnus sat on the chair facing them, he refused to leave Alec alone although he was terrified at what he just saw earlier. He eyed his mother soaking the towel and pressed it on Alec's forehead and wiped his face with it. "Why did he smell of alcohol?" She asked and Magnus sighed, "He drank it before he passed out. He was panicking earlier." Magnus explained and Magdelene stopped and turned her head towards her son,

"Panicking about what?" She asked, her eyebrow crooked waiting for her son to answer but the only response she got was a tiring sighed and Magnus slumping his body forward placing his face on both of his palm. "Long story." He said weakly, his voice muffled in his palm.

They stayed beside Alec for a while until the sound of the door knocked interrupted them. Magnus and Magdelene looked at the door and saw Mary with a guy stood behind her wearing a scrubs and a white coat with a stethoscope around his neck and he's carrying a a bag, medical supplies bag on his side. "Magnus, the doctor is here." She said and allowed him to enter. As soon as he did, Magnus saw the doctor widen eyes and the unreadable facial expression on his face. "Mr Bane?" He mumbled not even two steps into the room. Magnus stood with a soft smile on his face, knowing his reputation proceeds him, he walked towards the doctor with his hand reaching for a handshake.

"I don't believe we have met, you are?" He asked but as soon as he approached him, he wasn't greeted by the familiar warmth of a hand but rather a shove on a shoulder, "Please don't tell me its Alexander." He said as he walked closer and his query were answered. He immediately went to his side and stroke Alec's hair, he kneeled beside him unlike the usual doctor visiting a patient behavior. "What happened?" He asked not bother to move his eyes towards them but kept them on Alec.

"I'm sorry do you know each other?" Magdelene asked and as soon as she did, the doctor stood and faced her, his tall figure were no match for Alec but high enough to make her tilt her head up, "I'm Dr Mateo Garcia, I'm Alec's ex boyfriend." He finished his introduction with his eyes shooting darts at Magnus with anger and rage. "What?!" Magnus asked the obvious question and walked closer to him but held by his mother to prevent him from killing the guy before he treated Alec. She shook his hand unwillingly in awkwardness. "Uhm, he had a seizure. Not longer than three minutes, one episodes." She added and he eyed her with a smirk, "Are you a doctor Mrs Bane?" He asked and Magdelene smiled crossing her arm on her chest, "I'm no longer practicing but I'm a nurse." She said and Mateo removed his items to check on Alec from his bag, "Even better." He continued.

Magdalene had to remove Magnus from the room to give space for Mateo to work and even though Magnus protested at first, his mother insisted so he won't disturbed him doing his work. Magnus knew he enjoyed the private time with Alec and Magnus couldn't helped feeling anxious about it. He paced around his living room waited for him to finish checking on Alec and his mother enjoyed seeing his misery. "Relax, what do you think is gonna happen? Him kissing Alec to wake up?" She snickered a laugh joined with Mary as she poured the tea into the cup. "Not helping mum! Wait you think its possible?" He asked with the look on his face is priceless making Mary and his mum laughed even more.
