Dancing in Starlight AU

~So I got this idea back when I first downloaded the demo for this game. I think this was back in February. So it is now March and I am finally getting my ass into high gear and making an AU for the Dancing in Starlight game. I absolutely loved the demo and can't wait to get the full version of it. So this will include you, the reader, and most of the Phantom Thieves in their outfits. This will take place out of the time line of events. And also, I want to mention how great of a dancer Ren/Akira/Joker is. I will put a video in the link of him dancing. (It's pretty great).

"Ren, are you ready?" I asked as I finished putting on my clothes. We were heading to a dancing party Ryuji was throwing. Yusuke, Ann, Makoto, and Futaba were coming. He told us there were going to be themes throughout the night and he gave me a list of what they were. He told Ren a 'special' list was just for him and Yusuke. That meant I didn't know what he was going to be wearing for the themes. He came out with a bag of his change of clothes. He was wearing his school pants, red converse, his Shujin jacket, a shirt that said dance on it, and headphones around his neck.

"I am now."

"Good. I don't want to be late."

"I don't think Ryuji would mind."

"Where is this party being held at?"

"Somewhere by his place. Let's go."

We headed to the train station and got off at our stop. Ryuji gave him directions and I followed him. We got to the building, which was huge.

"How did he get a place like this?"

"Hey, you made it!" Ryuji said and smiled.

We walked inside and saw Yusuke, Futaba, Makoto, and Ann were there.

"Hey, guys," I said.

"Hi, Y/N," they said.

"So to start off with the dance party, it will be normal. Around six, we'll have some slow music, even though you two are the only couples. After that, we'll have our themed night."

"I can't wait to see what you've got in store," I said.

"Don't worry, you're going to love it!"

We started off with a few songs and then the slow music started. Ren and I went out on to the dance floor and danced together. 

"I hope this night isn't boring for you," Ren said.

"I don't think it will be, Ren."

He smiled and kissed my cheek, "You're going to love one of the themes."

"Can you tell me what it is?"

He smirked, "You're going to have to see it yourself."

"Damn it," I said.

"I want you to be surprised."

After a few slow songs, Ryuji started with the girls themes. The first was desert. Futaba had a pharaoh outfit. Ann had an Egyptian, Makoto looked like a camel. Thank goodness I wasn't the only one to go more of what is in the desert. I had a cactus outfit. Ryuji put on the song 'Rivers in the Desert' and we danced along to that. Once that was done, it was space. We all had astronaut outfits. When our theme was done, Futaba manned the music and the three of them headed into some area of the building.

"Do you have an idea as to what theme they're doing?" I asked.

Futaba just snickered to herself, "Yes. You're going to love it, Y/N!"

A few moments later, Ryuji came out with what looked like pigtails and what Ann would wear. Yusuke had a ponytail and had what looked like a samurai outfit, but for girls, and Ren, I wish I could have taken a photo then and there—but I eventually did—was wearing a long, black wig, a cop outfit, and heels. 

"Ren, please don't fall," I said, trying not to laugh.

"Don't worry," he said.

"I am worrying about that outfit."

"This was Ryuji's idea," Yusuke said.

"This is our cross-dressing theme!" Ryuji smiled. "Hit it, Futaba!"

Futaba played the song 'Last Surprise.' This was what I was least expecting from this party. The three of them danced to this song, then to 'Life Will Change' and 'Wake up, Get up, Get out there.' After that the party had died down since Ann and Makoto had to leave. Ren changed from his outfit to the one he came in. Futaba and Yusuke left and it was just Ryuji, Ren, and myself.

"What did you think of the party?" Ryuji asked.

"I loved it," I said. "I didn't know you had such killer moves."

Ren just smiled, "I didn't want to tell you."

"I loved the surprise theme. I liked it. I didn't know you could look so hot dressed like that," I said and kissed Ren on the cheek.

He just smiled at Ryuji, "I think we should head home. We've got a long trip."

"Yeah. Hey, thanks again for coming."

"Wouldn't miss it for the world, Ryuji," Ren said.

"It was nice seeing you again, Y/N," he said.

"It was," I said and hugged him goodbye.

"Hope to see you guys soon," Ryuji said.

"Bye, Ryuji," we waved to him.

We headed to the train station and got on and waited to get home.

"What did you think?" Ren asked.

"I loved it. Loved the outfit," I said.

"Figured you would."

"Where did you even get it?"

"Yusuke knew someone."

"I'm surprised you agreed to do that."

"I was too."

The train pulled into the station and we headed back to the apartment.

"How was the party?" Morgana asked.

"It was great," I said and pulled out my phone. I showed Morgana the picture of Ren and he laughed.

"You wore that?"

"Did you show him?" Ren asked.

"I did."

He walked out and I showed him the picture.

"Delete that," he said.

"Nope!"

"Y/N," he said.

"You're going to have to make me," I said and stuck my tongue out at him.

"Come here!"

I ran around the apartment and he ran after me. Morgana was following us, but ended up making my trip. It was when we were in the room. I fell onto the bed and Ren fell down next to me. We both just laughed. We looked into each other's eyes and I kissed his forehead.

"I want to remember it."

"I was just kidding," he said and wrapped his arms around my waist. "You can keep it."
