~A/N: Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for the 300+ views! I am very thankful for all of you and to show my thanks, you get a special chapter! You're all probably wondering what this is about, but you're just going to have to read it to find out. Thank you again!

I walked along the streets as the night wind howled against the buildings. The cold air bit at my skin as I walked along the streets. I shivered, trying not to think much about it. I just had to do this quickly before they called me out. What friends I have. I walked up the hill and towards a huge mansion. It had been abandoned for quite sometime. There was a legend behind it. There was a rich couple who lived there. They were going to get married soon after they bought the mansion. They were nice, nice at making enemies. So their enemies had found their house and burned it down. A few years after it burnt down, it was magically built again. No one knows who rebuilt it and no one knows how. But it was forgotten anyway. Forgotten until this very night.

I walked through the darkness with this one lamp I had. I was still shivering as I made my way up to the front door. I grabbed the handle and turned it. I walked inside and closed the door behind me.

"Stay in for a minute," I muttered. I walked around the entrance area and saw there were portraits all over the place. I looked at each one of them and saw they were portraits of the young couple. The man had messy black hair, glasses, and wore a suit. The woman had short brown hair with a braid that was going from ear to ear and she had a pretty white dress on. I walked a little further in, my interest growing. I walked up the stairs and into a room. It looked like their bedroom. I walked out and headed towards the front door. I reached over and grabbed the handle. I turned it, but it wouldn't move.

"The hell?" I whispered and tried to pry the door open.

"Who dares come into this manor?" a voice came from the darkness.

I turned and looked around, "W-who goes there?"

"The man who owns this manor."

"A-are you a ghost?"

"Far from it."

"Are you alive?"

"Not really."

"So, where are you?"

"Look around and tell me what you see."

"I see darkness."

"And?"

"That's it."

There was a flash of lightning, which came out of no where. I saw there was a hallway in the darkness.

"Go down that hallway."

I walked down the hallway. I was shaking so violently I thought I was going to drop the lamp.

"Turn into that room."

I turned into the room and saw a fireplace was on. Another flash came and there was some light in the room. I couldn't really see much. I walked in and looked around.

"How long has it been?"

"About a good thirty minutes."

"Does someone want to go in and get her?"

"No way in hell am I going in there. There are stories of it being haunted."

"Of course there are! That's one of the oldest manors in this village."

"Has anyone actually ever been in there and witnessed a ghost?"

"Some have said they heard voices when they went in."

"That's spooky."

"Anyway, I say we should go in there and find her."

"I don't think so. Or at least wait until morning."

"Find by me."

"Welcome to my manor," the voice came again.

"Show yourself."

"Are you sure you want me to do that?"

"Yes. I want to see who I am talking to."

"Where are my manners? Let me turn on a light."

A light turned on and I blinked away a few tears. My eyes adjusted and I looked around the room again. There was a chair, a bookshelf, and a table by the chair.

"Alright, where are you?"

"Turn around."

I turned around and the man from the portrait was standing right behind me. I screamed and dropped my lamp. The glass shattered and the light went out. I backed up until I bumped into the chair.

"You might want to sit down."

I sat down and looked at the man. He was dressed in black this time. He had a cloak on and a collar that went up to his ear. His skin was pasty white. He wasn't a ghost. He was a vampire!

"H-How did you become a vampire?"

"Long story," he said.

"U-uh, what is your name?"

"I want to get to know you first."

"I'm Y/N L/N."

"Ah, nice to meet you, Y/N. No one has ever visited my manor before."

"W-well there are a lot of stories behind it."

"Such as?"

"You're good at making enemies and this manor is haunted."

"Haunted? Well the only ghost in here is the ghost of my child."

"Child?"

"I am only kidding. Oh and the portraits you saw are of me and a good friend of mine. She wanted to live here with me."

"Oh, so you two aren't couples."

"If I ever married her I would be dead a long time ago. I'm after another person."

"Oh," I said. "So what is your name?"

"Ren. Nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you, Ren."

He got closer to me, "I must say, you are an exquisite one. A rare beauty."

"I-I should get going now."

"What's the rush?"

"My friends are probably wondering where I have gone."

"Nonsense. Those so called friends of yours have left you."

"They would never."

"Don't be so sure," he said and showed me what he had seen outside the manor. It was a conversation between my friends. They left me until morning. "Now that you know the truth, I am in need of a friend."

I nodded, "Don't we all."

"But a friend who won't die on me."

I knew where this was going. His hand came out from his cloak and grabbed me by my throat. He didn't choke me, he just had a firm hold on me.

"Don't move. I want this to be as painless as it can be."

I just nodded and he opened his mouth. I looked at him from the corner of my eyes and saw his fangs. His fangs dug into my neck and I gritted my teeth in pain. He removed his fangs and blood came out from where he had penetrated. He walked in front of me, licked the blood from his fangs, and smirked.

"Now you're mine, forever."

"That would not happen," I said.

"Sure in hell it would."

I only smiled and kissed his cheek, "Alright. Get some sleep ok?"

He nodded and went back to bed. I laid down next to him and sighed. It was only a dream he had.
