~A/N: So this is going to be an interesting chapter. This will be taken place while Akira is in jail during the game. It has nothing to do with the timeline of the story. I just had an idea and since the entire plot of the story is already written, there is no place for me to put this. So this is considered an AU or a special chapter if you want to call it. Hope you enjoy! Thank you for 200 views!!!!

I coughed as the guy kicked me in the stomach. Dealing with this kind of physical abuse was hard enough. The drugs they were giving me was also mentally damaging. I don't know how long I can keep this up. If anything, this could be the reason they killed me. But they wouldn't do that. They need me for something. I don't know what, but they need me. That's why they haven't killed me yet. Once they get the information from me then they might kill me. I need to get out of here. I need to see the others. The others. They must be worried for me. I'm worried about them. Hopefully they don't get caught. That would be worse. Just imagining them getting caught and put through this torture. I guess Morgana could get away since he's a cat. They wouldn't suspect a cat of anything. And Futaba. Who knows what they'd do to Futaba. And Sojiro would have my head if he found out. Whatever they ask of me, I can't give away the rest of them. For the sake of their lives, I can't get them caught.

"Get up!" the man yelled and kicked me in the stomach once more. I coughed and looked up at him. He grabbed me by my hair and pushed my head down into the ground. "You're going to be put through hell. This is going to be fun," he smirked.

I stayed quiet. I knew it would be best if I didn't say a word. He slapped me across the back of my head and kicked me once more.

"Bring in the drugs," he said. Some guy walked in and had two to three syringes. I couldn't really tell since my vision was a bit blurred. He walked over to me and pulled my sleeve up. He injected the two syringes and my head felt like it was going to explode. All the memories came back from when we were doing Phantom Thief work. But they were distorted in someway. My friends weren't my friends. They were secretly against me. Was this their way of making me talk? I couldn't give in to these drugs. I just couldn't.

"Tell me what you remember," the man said.

"I-I don't remember anything."

"Fuck yes you do!" he yelled and kicked me again.

I yelled in pain and he took another syringe. He stuck it in my arm and viciously ripped it out. This time, there was a bit of blood.

"Find another method to make him talk," the man said.

"Yes, sir."

"We're going to get you to talk either way. No matter what it takes. We will get the truth out of you."

"Try as much as you want."

"Don't talk back!" he yelled and smacked me across the face.

I grunted in pain and I could feel some blood coming from my mouth. I spit it out on to the ground and hung my head low. He walked out for what felt like five hours.

"Please, help," I whispered.

After weeks of enduring torture method after torture method, the police ruled that they couldn't get information out of me so they let me go. Others were opposed of letting me out, but they thought that if I didn't know anything, I wasn't the criminal. They released me and I was expelled from Shujin. Sorjiro wanted nothing to do with me anymore and the Phantom Thieves were just relieved I was alive.

"Where are you going to head to now?" Ryuji asked.

"I have a friend outside of Yongen-Jaya. Hopefully I can crash at her place."

"Do you need help getting everything together?" Makoto asked.

"No. I have everything I need," I said. "Thanks, guys."

"No problem. At least let us walk you to the station. You look like shit," Yusuke said.

"I feel like shit," I stumbled to get up.

They helped me to the station and after that, I was on my own. I headed down to where she lived and knocked on her door. We haven't been in contact with one another since I left for Shujin. She opened the door and was surprised to see me.

"Ren? Is that really you?"

"It's me, Y/N."

"It's so nice to see you. Come in. My parents are out for the day as well as my sister. It's just us."

I nodded and walked in. I set my stuff down and sat down at the table and talked to her. A little while later, her mother and father returned from work. They were happy to see me. I explained the situation I was in, leaving out the part of me in jail, and asked if I could stay with them. They didn't have a problem with it and Y/N helped me get my things into the room where I was staying.

"You've been gone for a really long time," she said.

"I'm sorry I didn't get in touch with you."

"I guess you were focused on your studies."

"Yeah," I said.

She looked over at me and saw a bruise on my hand.

"What happened to your hand?"

I looked down and covered it up. "It's nothing."

"Ren."

I sighed and revealed it. I took off my shirt and showed her the numerous bruises that were all over my body. She looked horrified when she saw them. I almost started to cry since the memories came back. She looked at my arm and saw small red dots.

"Did they torture you?"

I explained everything that happened and put my shirt back on. I sighed, "They are despicable people, Y/N."

"I understand, Ren. I'll let you get some rest."

"Y/N?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Later that night, I heard a scream coming from the other room. I woke up and ran into Ren's room. I turned on the light and he put his hand over his face to cover the light. I walked towards him and my father came in to check up on us.

"Is everything ok?"

"Yeah. He just had a nightmare."

He nodded and closed the door. I walked closer to him, but he tried to get away.

"P-please, leave me alone. I did nothing wrong!"

"Ren, calm down."

"I did nothing wrong!"

"Ren!" I said and grabbed his wrist. He seemed scared. He ripped his wrist from my grip and started to shake.

"I did nothing wrong," he whispered over and over again.

I sat down in front of him and he slowly looked up at me.

"Ren, it's going to be ok. They're not going to hurt you anymore."

"How can I trust you?"

"I would never lie to you, Ren. I'm your best friend."

He looked at me. He came closer and I reached my hand out to him. He pulled away and I looked at him with a hurt expression.

"I would never hurt you, Ren."

"P-prove it."

I got closer to him and rested my hands on his cheeks. I leaned forward and pressed my lips against his. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around my waist. He pulled me closer and kissed back. I pulled away and he gave me a peck on the lips.

"I will never, ever hurt you, Ren."

He smiled and a tear slipped down his face.

"I know. Thank you."
