It had been 1 month since me and Yoongi's relationship went public. Although I did receive some hate, it was mostly positivity. Yoongi was so anxious to show me off, but we hadn't had the chance yet. We were both really busy, I was still styling all 7 of them until pd-nim finds a replacement for Yoongi. I was silently hoping it would take him awhile. We were all sitting at a table in the cafeteria, eating our lunch and exchanging embarrassing stories. It hadn't taken long at all for me to become close with the members. We all just instantly clicked, and it was so much fun to hang out with them.
In the beginning, I thought I would be the closest with Tae, but it was turning out to be Joon. It was so easy to talk to him, our friendship came so naturally. He's so good with words, whenever I have a problem or i'm just not feeling motivated, I just go talk to him and he makes me feel better. Him and Yoongi are pretty close too. The other day, I sat in the studio with them for hours after work, and just listened to them bouncing song ideas off each other. It was amazing to watch, because you can listen to any of their songs and hear how good they are, but to watch the process of them making the songs is a completely different experience.
"Everyone, can I please have your attention." The loud voice startled me, snapping me out of my thoughts. Our heads all turned in unison to see Mr. Bang and a tall brunette standing by the door. "This is Yoo Ara, I just hired her to take over the position of Min Yoongi's personal stylist. Starting tomorrow, she will officially work alongside Y/N, and Yoongi. Please, treat her well." He said with a smile, before turning his attention to the girl, "Yoo Ara, I have some paperwork to catch up on, are you comfortable getting to know everyone without me?"
"Of course, thank you for the opportunity, I promise I won't let you down." She said, shaking his hand. He turned and walked out of the room, leaving her standing awkwardly. I took a good look at the girl, I felt like I've seen her before, but I couldn't remember where. I was probably just imagining it. I walked up to her, shaking her hand.
"I'm Y/N, I look forward to working with you." I smiled, before leading her to the table. The boys introduced themselves one by one, giving her their best smiles. I still couldn't shake the feeling that I knew her.
"Where are you from, Ara?" I asked, taking a bite of Yoongi's noodles.
"I just recently moved here from Gwangju." She smiled. "What about you?"
"I'm from a small town in the US." I said, not breaking eye contact.
"Oh! That's so exciting! How long have you worked here?" She asked, her enthusiasm seemed really off. I couldn't figure out why, there was just something about her.
"About a month and a half." Yoongi interrupted the conversation, and I couldn't help but feel relieved. "We should really get back to work guys." He said, clearing the table.
"Ah, Hyung's right, we still have a lot more practicing to do." Joon said, turning his gaze to Ha Yoon. "It was really nice to meet you, feel free to let any of us know if you need anything." She nodded her head, and the boys left the room. Yoongi gave me a quick kiss on my forehead, "I'll see you after work. Maybe we can get dinner?" He asked, waiting for my response. I could feel Ara's eyes on me, but I didn't take my gaze off of Yoongi.
"Of course, I'd love that." I smiled, pulling him closer and pressing my lips on his. It was only a short kiss, but it warmed my whole body. He waved goodbye to Ara and I, and walked out of the room.
"Oh. My. God. I had no idea you were dating one of the members!" She exclaimed, shock written all over her face. This was awkward. "Is that why Mr. Bang hired me to style Yoongi? I thought it was kind of strange that he only needed me for one member."
