Chapter 38 : Side Attack

Nanlamig ako sa narinig. Kung ganoon ay posibleng nakuha na nila si Serel. Ngunit kailangan naming makasiguro. Mabilis akong lumabas ng opisina ni Vaboo tinahak ang hallway papunta sa dorm ngunit habang papunta roon ay mayroong humarang saamin na isang babae.

"Astroloheirs! Nasaan si Serel? Kamusta siya?" Sunod sunod na tanong nito saamin. Nagtaka naman ako sa inaasal nito.

"You know her?" Tanong ni Flare sa kaniya, tumango ito.

"Yes, I'm with her before she left with my potion. Nahulaan na niya ang propesiya patungkol kay Mallucia. She explained it to me. Alam niyo na ba ito? nasabi na niya sainyo?" Patuloy na Pagsasalita nito. Hindi na ako nagdalawang isil at mabilis ko itong hinila.

"You need to come with us,"

"T-Teka, Ano bang nangyayari?" Gulo nitong tanong ng makarating kami sa dormitory. Pinaupo namin siya sa isang couch kaharap kami.

"Listen. We had a hunch that Serel was captured by Mallucia. Tell us everything you knew." Frio demanded. I felt a chilling aura around us. It was from him and we only felt it if he's angry. Was he angry?

"Uhm, I-Inaya kasi ako ni Serel na pumunta sa library dahil nabanggit ko sa kaniya ang pag punta niyo sa Crystales at siguro na curios siya kaya nag-aya siya papunta doon." Paliwanag niya saamin. Nakinig pa kami.

"Then after researching about it, we heard a sound like drums? Akala namin may nangyayari na pero nagulat na lang kami dahil sa dulo ng library 'yun nag mula. Tapos may gumalaw na libro sa itaas ng shelf at kinuha niya 'yon. The book looks old and I immediately identified that it was the book of prophecies." She continued telling us what happened on that day.

"What is your name again?" Fisso asked her.

"Captise." Captise replied.

"Can you tell us about this prophecy?"

"Of course. According to Serel, the prophecy that needs to me identified was "A guardian will take over the whole domain. She will rule it. No one will dare to make a move. They will be imprisoned for decade. But a butterfly will born, she will hold a wand and write the ending." And she explained me how she cracked it." Napatigil ako. That's the prophecy I once told her when we're on our way to the Servailles to get Aerris and Evangeline's wand.

"Sa limang sentences bago mag-period ay sinasabing si Mallucia ay pinamunuan ang buong domain. Which is clearly the fact that before Serel and Fisso came, she kinda rule it." Napatango kami sa sinabi nito, that's the time we're imprisoned in Salvatras.

"

Ang sabi niya sa may isang butterfly na ipapanganak, the butterfly is only a term because the sentence means that---" Natigil siya at tila napaisip. "I'm sorry, ang hirap i-explain. Ang gulo." Umiling ito.

"Go on, we'll try to understand it." I politely said.

"The butterfly is really a person. Gets? Then she will hold a wand and write the ending. Try to guess someone who can hold a wand and can write at the same time." She challenged us.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at tiningnan si Captise na ngayon ay pinagmamasdan kami isa isa. I looked at them, they look in shock just like me. Iisa lang naman ang kayang humawak ng wand at makapag sulat na kapangyarihan.

"Serel," We uttered in chorus.

"The prophecy is pointing Serel as the butterfly who will write the ending. Kaya gusto niya itong ipaalam sa inyo dahil kapag nasimulan na niyang magsulat patungkol sa pagtatapos ng pananakop ni Mallucia ay naroroon kayo. So you won't be needed to come place to place to gain alliance." Tila nawalan ako ng gana sa sinabi niya. If only we listened to her.

"If we solved the prophecy's meaning on time, we could have win already." Nanghihinayang na umiling si Aquacia.

"Mallucia knew the prophecy already, that's why she's itching to take Serel away. Because Serel will finish all her darkness." Naisaad ko ng mapagtanto iyon.

"If we knew the prophecy, sana ay pinagsulat na kaagad natin si Serel para tapusin na ang lahat ng ito." Napabuntong hininga naman si Nadia.

"The attack on all the lands..." Frio uttered, we turned to him.

"What is it?"

"It was a side attack." We looked at him confused by the word he just dropped. Side attack?

"The plan was to get Serel. The real attack was on Serel, the others are just a side attack to divert our attention because Mallucia knew how much the lands means to us." He then explained. I froze in my spot. He's right. Weird having a sudden attack from land to land though she hasn't done it for decades of ruling the domain when we're still imprisoned.

"What the fuck. If she's been caught on the attack, then it's been three days since they got her!" Napatayo si Tyson ng maisip ito, napantig ang tenga ko dahil doon. He's right. Then what happened?

"We need to make a move. We need to get Serel back or else, blood will scattered." Nagdilim ang paningin ni Flare and I saw how her eyes changed in oure red because of anger.

"Calm down, Flare. We need a plan." When Aquacia held her hands, she somehow calmed down.

"But isn't that weird that she's been there for three days yet there's still no change on the domain? Hindi ba dapat ay sumugod na siya noong nasa Crystales pa tayo? Or so on?" Gulo namang tanong ni Fisso kaya nabaling sa sinabi niya ang atensyon namin.

"We need to report this on Vaboo." Tumayo ako para muling bumalik sa opisina ni Vaboo at sabihin ang nalalamam namin.

"No. Levi, you'll tell all the things we discussed to Vaboo. Meissa, ready the students. Dont force them to join us if they dont want. Nadia, Aquacia.  You'll take care of the guardians and the other creatures. Flare, ready the soldiers. The rest, follow me." Utos ni Frio at nagsimula na kaming kumilos.

"How about me?" Captise raise her hand.

"Evacuate the possible casualties." Frio commanded, tumango ito at mabilis na lumabas ng dormitory.

"Wait!" Natigil kami ng biglang lumabas sa kuwarto ni Serel ang flaries.

"We'll call help too." kumindat pa saamin ang mga ito. Kahit naguguluhan sa inaasata nila ay nagpatuloy pa rin kami.

I made my way to the hall where the students are gathering. Natigil sila ng makita ako. I commanded the wind to close all the windows. Lahat sila ay tila natakot sa ginawa ko dahil sa seryosong mukha ko. I walked in front and stood confidently.

"There will be a war and we need to prepare. I will not force the others to join us so if you dont want to get involve here, follow Captise' command." Deretsyo kong anunsyo sa kanila. Bakas ang gulat sa mga mukha nito.

"This war is either to die or survive. The Versailles is balanced we cannot let Mallucia rule our world. This is made for us, not for her to rule. Now I want the students who will go on the war to prepare themselves because we will be leaving tonight." Muli kong saad at marami sa kanila ang tumayo.  Lumabas na ako ng hall at dumeretsyo sa labas ng palasyo kung nasaan si Nadia at Aquacia.

Nadia is talking to the other griffins and some creatures. Si Aquacia naman ay inihahanay sila. Lumabas na ang mga estudyante at ang iba pa. They look so ready to fight in this war. This is for Serel. We need to win here. It's do or die.

"Get ready." Frio's commanding voice lingered around my ears.
