Song: Pocket full of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield

We have a short staff meeting before the shift starts and everyone drops the topic that was spreading fast. I knew my secret wouldn't stay quite long consider it is all over the news about the death of Mr. Harper. They all know who I am now. But after the meeting everything goes back to normal. Well almost, I feel that everyone is being super nice to me afraid that I might crumble to a million pieces. Thankfully we are super busy and I don't have time to think about anything.

However when I get home its an empty house I am just lost within myself. I try to wind down but nothing seems to work. I finally just say forget it and start cleaning the whole damn place from top to bottom. Everything is spotless not a speck of dust anywhere. It's after three in the morning before I finally crash on the couch.

The alarm on my phone keeps going off and I have to get up to find the thing sitting on the kitchen counter where I had left it the night before. I barely get down breakfast and end up throwing more than half of it away. I manage to get up and take a shower and get ready for another night at work.

I was surprised not to run into Mr. Moretti throughout my shift. Maybe telling him to stay out of my personal life was all I needed to say. The week passes on by and then another week. I go to school and then to work. I pay the bills and continue to clean the apartment up even though it is already spotless. It's really kinda of hard to make a mess when you are rarely ever home and when you are you don't even make a mess. Its weird being all on my own and lonely. I hate coming home to an empty place with no one to talk to and talking to myself is not the best of things to be doing.

Today ReAnn is in town and called me up she is coming over and then we are going shopping. I have the day off so that's a plus. There is a knock at my door around ten-thirty. I look through the peek hole to make sure it is her before opening it up. "Hey...finally you are here. Come in." I open the door for her.

She walks around and looks at the place. "Well, just like I remembered except a little cleaner. Girl tell me you don't have a maid."

"I don't have a maid, just a lot of time on my hands since Raine left."

She walks over toward me with a pouty face and open arms. "Oh...Ana...I'm sorry things didn't work out between the two of you."

"It's fine. I'm fine now...really. I'm making it work."

"I see that." She pulls away and looks at me up and down and then back up. "God you're so freaking skinny...beautiful as always though." She smiles wide. "Let's grab a bite to eat and then we could go looking around, looks like you could use something to eat," she laughs.

"ReAnn, I'm not that skinny. Stop worrying about me."

"Girl look at you. I can tell you are not eating right. Come on it's on me."

I take her to the old restaurant that I use to work at because they have like the best food ever and for a good price on lunch. Some new hostess sits us at a table and I ask if Harold is there today and I already know that he is. "Of course he is here; would you like me to get him for you?"

"Yes, just tell him Ana is here," I tell her as I hand ReAnn the menu. I don't bother looking at it because I already know what I want.

Within a few minutes he is coming out of the swinging doors and I can hear his voice before I even see him. When he gets to the table I jump up and hug him."My...my...my...tell me you are coming back I so miss you."

"I would but you know I actually love my new job. Harold I am learning so much there."

"I'm sure you are. I hope he is taking good care of you?"
