Deal or No deal?

I opened my eyes and found myself on a warm bed, in a bright room. I sat up, clutching my head with a groan. I looked around my surroundings. Everything was fancy here. I slowly moved out of the soft bed and walked to the door. People gotta stop throwing me in strange places. Atleast this place is nice.

"You've been out for a while", a man said, opening the door.

"Who are you?", I got into a defensive stance.

He put his hands up, "I'm not here to hurt you. Trust me"

"Yeah and you didn't kidnap me either", I scoffed.

He chuckled, "Technically, it wasn't me"

"Do I look like I care?", I raised an eyebrow.

"Why don't you freshen up? Our Alpha will be waiting for you?"

"Alpha? What are you? Animals?"

He chuckled again, "Yeah, we get that a lot. Kinda offensive when it's coming from a bloodsucker"

My eyes went wide, "What are you talking about?", I tried to act calm.

"No need to play dumb, dear. We know you are a vampire and all we want to do is talk. Trust me, hurting you is the last thing we want to do", his eyes displayed sadness when he talked about hurting me. Why?

"Why aren't you scared of me?", I finally asked.

"It's because we aren't humans either"

"What are you?", my breath rate increased.

His eyes showed concern for me. Why? "Everything will be explained soon. Just calm down please"

It's as if my panic hurt him. I nodded. He looked like he wanted to stay and talk to me a little but he reluctantly walked out.

I looked around and found a shower. I hopped in and washed away all the dirt from my hair and body. I walked out and found a gown laid out for me on the bed, with a note.

Who on earth is Sid? Maybe it's the guy I met a few minutes ago. The dress was beautiful and the note was sweet. Wait, what? Did I just think the note was sweet? I shook my head and quickly put on the dress. I left my hair down and walked outside.

"Sid?", I called out.

"At your service", Sid mock bowed, making me chuckle. "You have a beautiful smile"

"Thank you", I blushed a little.

I shook my head to clear it of all the thoughts, "You were talking about some Alpha", I said.

"Yes. This way, please", he led the way. I followed him and entered a huge dining hall. What's with these people and fancy stuff?

"Ah, Sid. I see you brought our lovely guest here", a female smiled. "What's your name, dear?"

"That's a lovely name. Why don't you join us for some breakfast", she suggested. I nodded.

We sat down at a huge table. The lady sat on the biggest chair and I sat down next to Sid. Some people served us food and I was given a plastic bottle with a straw in it. "What's this?", I asked.
