Fight

One true love? What on earth?

"I am sure your mate would love to hear that", Ketan chuckled and tried to undo her cuffs.

"Am I not dreaming this?", Ria asked, her eyes wide open. Ketan shook his head. "Get me out of here!", she screamed.

"Relax. I am trying. Everything is drenched in sage"

"That lady, she is insane. She wants to turn wolves into vampires. Like, what the hell, lady? They were born to be that way", Ria ranted.

"What are you talking about?", I asked.

"Who is she?"

"She is Amaira, my mate", Ketan said.

"I am sorry you heard me say that"

"It's fine. Who is that lady?"

"Their Alpha", Ria rolled her eyes, "It's like somebody replaced her head with a bag of craziness. She is an absolute maniac"

"We need to get you out of here. Do you have any idea who has the keys", Ketan asked.

"No. But I do know that I need blood. Ketan, I can't stay awake much longer"

He was about to extend his hand when I pulled him back and shook my head. "She needs my blood", he whispered.

"She needs somebody's blood, not yours. I will give her mine"

"What's the difference?"

"I just don't want another woman to drink your blood", I looked away.

"Just give me something. I exhausted myself too much", Ria groaned. I bit down on my wrist and put it near Ria's mouth. She drank just enough to regain part of her energy. Her self control had me in awe.

"Try to think, Ria. Who has the keys?", Ketan asked.

"Not necessary", Ria tugged on the cuffs and they came undone.

"How?", my jaw dropped down.

"Sage doesn't affect me much and I am old enough to break these things", she shrugged.

"Enough admiring. We still need to get out of here", Ketan reminded.

"Why are you shirtless? Showing off to your mate?"

"It's hard to breathe with this much sage", I shrugged.

"I know a way out. We just need to hold the dogs off till morning", Ria said.

"Lead the way"

Ria walked through the tunnels with us trailing behind. I heard footsteps behind us. "I think Sid is awake", I said.

"More reason to get out of here", Ria muttered.

The sound of a siren caught us all by surprise. "Is that to alert that we escaped?"

"They don't care that much about us. The pack is under attack", Ria went back in the direction we came from.

"Wait! Why are we going back?", I went after her.

"This exit is not safe if there is an attack going on. The pack hates us but they hate rivals more. We are safe with the pack", she used vamp speed to get out of the tunnels.

"Why are we doing this again?", I groaned, looking at Ketan.

"Don't look at me. I am not the one who joined forces with psychotic wolves"

I rolled my eyes and followed Ria. I saw Sid at the secret entrance. "New deal. Help us take down the wolves and you can take your weapons"

"Are you Rumpelstiltskin? What's with you and the deals?", Ketan asked.

"Desperate times call for desperate measures. We need to turn our wolves into vampires if we have any hope of defending ourselves. We clearly lost that chance. Why not make a new deal?", Sid shrugged.

"We help with the wolves. Give us the weapon and stay the hell away from my mate", Ketan growled.

"Pack comes first", Sid said and climbed the stairs.

"Wait. We need to see the weapons or atleast know the location", I said.

"Ria knows the location. We don't have much time to lose", he ran out of the room, leaving us alone.

"Where the hell is Ria?"

"She will be here somewhere. I really don't want to get into a fight but we need to hold our end of the deal", he said.

"Where do we even start? We don't know anything"

"We will go outside and somebody will tell us something"

"So you want us to just wing it?", I raised an eyebrow.

"Pretty much, yeah", he shrugged.

"We get info. Then what? What are we gonna do? Kill people?"

Ketan flinched when I said 'kill'. "We are not killing anyone. We just try to knock them out cold. If any of them choose to fight in their human form, they will definitely have weapons. We need to be quick"

"Don't need to tell me that twice", I smirked.

We got out of the pack house and people were running around frantically. They stopped when they looked at us and ran in the opposite direction. "Good job getting them to like you, honey", Ketan teased.

"Stop", I rolled my eyes, "Find someone so we can get out of this place"

"I think those are pack guards", he pointed at people who are running alongside wolves, holding weapons. "These weapons look funny", Ketan chuckled.

"What's gotten into you?"

"Hey, this isn't our problem. We help. We don't magically make things disappear"

I was about to say something when I heard growls and howls. "Uh-oh"

"Uh-oh, indeed. Let's knock a few dogs out, shall we?", he looked at me. I nodded. Both of us used our vampire speed to reach the war zone, which is basically every where.

A lot of them were in wolf form and some were in human form. The guards had a dress code so it was easy to tell who to root for and who to knock out. Things got a little confusing when wolves were all around me. How the hell do I know which one to root for?

Some werewolves in their human form tried to fight me but one hit to their head caused them to drop on the ground. It wasn't hard enough to kill them but enough to keep them down for atleast a few minutes. I heard a growl from behind. It wasn't harsh. It was like a warning growl. I looked around to see Sid in wolf form.

"What?". He let out another tiny growl, looking around. "I don't speak wolf". He shook his head and looked behind me. Paused for a second and looked at another direction. I followed his gaze and found a few wolves. "Are they enemy wolves?", I asked. He nodded. "Let's get this party started then"

Sid's wolf would look a few wolves with anger in his eyes and I know who to take down. I approached a wolf and it gave me a low growl before pouncing on me. I was quick. I moved sideways and punched it in the neck. Two more punches and it was on the ground, whimpering.

We followed this pattern and soon I regretted it. I was surrounded by wolves. I tried my best but it was getting hard to be quick. I was getting tired. I heard a whoosh in the air and looked back. There was a dead wolf on the ground with an arrow throw its head.

I nearly flinched at the sight but what happened next shook me more. Ketan approached the wolf, pulled the arrow out and stabbed it, making sure it's dead.

"That's what you get for pouncing on my mate", he growled.
